Well, guys, I wanted to keep this one relatively short, but they packed a lot of dialogue and DR sessions into this episode, so… it’s not short. Sorry! I’ve bolded the more important bits for those who only want the gist of things.

The show starts off with Julie Chen leading up to after the POV ceremony.
Audience Applause: “Good evening I am Julie Chen, welcome to Big Brother 10. It is day 38 inside the Big Brother house, and Jesse’s surprise eviction has lead to a week of volatility and emotional outburst. The show starts off by taking us back to the nomination ceremony. It shows Dan’s key getting pulled out last. Michelle gives her speech. After that everyone gets up and the screen turns to color indicating, this is what happened afterward.

The show starts off by taking us back to the eviction ceremony when Jesse gets evicted. Michelle says in the DR, "I was seeing red. I was enraged, I was furious, I was angry, and I just really wish I could go back." (She begins to cry) "Just like two minutes so I could say a couple of more things to him that I wanted to say." The show opens with a black & white flashback of last episode’s POV ceremony. Jerry says that he will not use the Power of Veto and adjourns the meeting. The POV box is slammed shut and the screen turns to color as the current episode begins.

This episode started off with them introducing the contestants. Katee looked like she had an alien growing out of her head. They introduced the judges and Mary Murphy looked like a chipmunk, as usual. The guest judge this week is famed choreographer and singer Toni Basil. You know her from that Hey Mickey song.
First up to choose his partner is Will and he picks Courtney. Courtney then chooses hip-hop and samba as their two dances. They dance the samba first. We've all seen the trailer for "The Island" and wondered just what Dan was up to. It turned out to be an interesting freshman challenge experience for him. We're told that Dan had many heated moments during the challenge, including the one we see very briefly in the trailer. Who is the object of Dan's outrage? It's another challenge newcomer, "Hollywood" Dave.
