Online but I just read that both he and Katherine had signed on so I am guessing he will die...I just dont' see them shipping him off to the army after this accident, LOL.
Doesn't sound like it's officially confirmed through ABC itself, but it doesn't look good.
No surprise here. He was clearly a goner. Now he is going to Broadway? Next stop....Lifetime movie of the week!
I just can't believe any of this until the season starts. Shonda has way too many tricks up her sleeve! It almost makes me think he is def coming back next year! haha

I just read Katherine Heigl is staying on the show. I am happy about that I think Izzy had more story to tell at this point than George had. George had been written into a corner. I'm soo glad Katherine is staying though it sucks TR Knight is leaving.....

I'm actually pretty disappointed that we won't be getting to see this now: George's Last Day
Yeah me too...it sounded like it could have been a great episode.
Definitely, and it would've given at least a little more closure to such a shocking story...boo on you T.R! :girl_cray2:
Yes, this would have been a great way to bookend his character on the series, but alas he has his television commercial (in japan) career to think about.
Yes, this would have been a great way to bookend his character on the series, but alas he has his television commercial (in japan) career to think about.
Yeah I have lost a lot of respect for him...I feel like his diva ways/big ego got in the way of his career...now people in Hollywood are not going to want to hire him.
Yeah I have lost a lot of respect for him...I feel like his diva ways/big ego got in the way of his career...now people in Hollywood are not going to want to hire him.
I understand why he's bitter about the was he's been treated on the show over time (Isaaih-gate, hardly being around this season), so I can understand him wanting to give a big "eff you" to Shonda, but he could have at least done this for the fans, the people that have been watching this show for 5 years. I just think that's a little petty. He could have been the bigger person and done it for "us", and not "them", y'know?

I understand wanting to leave the show but the way he's doing it he's gonna be labeled as hard to work with....

Wow. That was not very sexy. "I'm so high." LoL Must have been some REAL good stuff. And I could never understand why any woman (especially married) would want to share her man with another woman in a threesome. I don't care what the circumstances, but I would KILL a ***** with my bare hands before I let her lay a hand on MY love!

Some good spoilers... The good news. Ellen Pompeo is on maternity leave! YAAAAAH! So she will be absent from a bunch of episodes. The bad news is Kathrine Heigel is going to be off filming a movie. BOOOO! So she will be missing episodes as well. Hmmm, Fringe or crippled Grey's Anatomy with one lead dead and two mostly absent? Probably not that tough a choice... I quit ER when they started bleeding the original cast. In retrospect, I think I made the right choice. The same might be said for jumping ship now with Grey's.

In retrospect, I think I made the right choice. The same might be said for jumping ship now with Grey's.
I absolutely agree. I had to force myself to watch most of last season, and now with George gone and Izzie and Mer in and out...ugh what's the point? Fringe will definitely take priority in my Thursday @ 9:00 timeslot. I will most likely end up watching Grey's passively (online the next day or in reruns)... Too bad, I gave it a fair shot (5 seasons!), but it has become more of a chore or obligation to watch if anything, and that's not good.
Actually, I skimmed the spoilers as I didn't want to get too spoiled...but on second look it is clearly stated they are are trying to become the next ER! I'll be doing the same as far as my schedule. Watch Fringe on TV. Watch Grey's online and if it goes further downhill, call it a series.
I had already made the decision to watch Fringe, but I do wanna see the opening episode of Grey's for this season so I will either record Fringe and watch Grey's or just watch Fringe and see Grey's online.
I just watched the first 5 mins of Greys... Perez Hilton: Watch The First Five Minutes Of Grey's Anatomy's Season Premiere!
Sneak peak for this week's episode! In the second video down, Chief actually calls own a ginger! ****!
Plot line for the 2 hour season finale, from Ausiello: “In the first hour of the two-hour season six finale, ‘Sanctuary,’ Seattle Grace Hospital is hit with a crisis like no other in its history on Grey’s Anatomy. In the second hour of the finale, ‘Death and All His Friends,’ Cristina and Meredith’s surgical skills are put to the ultimate test.”
Information re: the finale from Ausiello: Question: All this vague “a crisis like no other” talk about the Grey’s Anatomy finale is killing me. And you don’t wanna be responsible for my death. Seattle Grace scoop, STAT. —Andy Ausiello: Would it qualify as putting you on life support if I got series creator Shonda Rhimes to tell you a bit about the two-hour season-ender? Let’s find out. “The theme of the first hour is sanctuary, which sort of uses the idea that the hospital is our characters’ safest place and our safest place as viewers,” she says. “[Then we use] the hour to slowly turn that on its head [so] that by the end, the hospital is definitely kind of the least safe place in the world.” Yikes! “The second hour,” she continues, “is about choices, and we get to watch our characters make big ones. Lexie chooses between Mark and Alex. Owen chooses between Teddy and Cristina. Bailey faces the hardest medical choice that a doctor has to make. And the other choice that’s being made is Callie and Arizona, and whether or not they’re going to be together or not. It IS going to come down to the baby thing.” You still with us, Andy? Hello? Bueller? Someone call 911! Question: Please tell me we will actually get to see a Meredith story line on Grey’s Anatomy by the end of the season. —Lulu Ausiello: Meredith is going to have a lot going on in the finale. Trust me.
