We got Saltalamacchia? YESSS! I love him! He has a sweet name, he's a good (young) catcher and he's cute to boot! ;)
He may not be doing that well lately but I have faith. Good trade indeed.
Ortiz., the hero again. This guy is clutch and he is The Red Sox.
That was amazing. Huge comeback win today. Let's keep it going boys.
Jarrod Saltalamacchia
Great trade. He will be the Red Sox catcher of the future.
Im kind of ****** the rangers gave up on him so soon, but he did not live up to the hype he had when we traded for him. He was suppost to be the big part of the package we got from the braves. Thinking back on that deal the rangers ripped off the braves. We got Elvis Andrus, Matt Harrison, and Neftali Feliz and they only had Teixeira for a couple months.
Anyways i hope the prospects we got for Salty turn out to be good but if not oh well. Hopefully Taylor Teagarden can become our catcher of the future.
The Red Sox always wanted him and basically gave "nothing" in trade. Saltalamacchia is the next Victor Martinez and we have him. I am really excited.
He has been failing because he did not have the proper training. Now that he is in the Sox organization, he will succeed. The PawSox pull about as many visitors to games as the Rangers and once he realizes a Nation depends upon his development, he will shine.
Going from the Rangers to the Sox is something that can't be defined on paper. You are actually in the big leagues now Mr. Saltalamacchia. People will write about you.

Wow. Going from the Rangers to the Red Sox is going from a first place team to a third place team. By now in his career he should be able to throw the ball back to the pitchers mound but he cant. I do hope the sox can help him with that problem because the rangers got tired of trying. I dont know if he will be in the "big leagues" now because he has been stuck in the minors all year and he is no where near as good as Victor Martinez and probably never will be.
Wow. Going from the Rangers to the Red Sox is going from a first place team to a third place team.
If the Red Sox were in The AL West they'd be in first by about 10 games.
The big leagues is the AL East.
The three best teams in baseball. The World Series Champ will be one of those three teams.
I get a kick out of Ranger fans. You will be swept by the Yankees, or the Rays and maybe the Sox.
You have zero chance of advancing to the World Series.
Baseball is the AL east. The winner is the winner. The rest of baseball is playing for 4th place...
It is quite ridiculous to talk **** when you are not in the best division in baseball. We play each other continuously and kill the pretty numbers. We go outside the division to rack up a record. The AL West is a great place to do that. The AL Central too. And the NL East, Central and West.
Baseball is the AL East.
But, for show there are other teams...
If the rangers make the playoffs they will have just as good of a chance as anyone to make it to the world series. Our offense is very dangerous and our pitching is pretty good. I dont think we will have to worry about playing the sox in the post season because they probably wont be there.
Would you like to see the numbers of the AL East vs. baseball as a whole over a 100 year period?
No because i know the al east is good. Primarily because of the yankees who have won 27 world series unlike the sox.

And would it bother you if they had a better record?
In the end you are just going to get the **** kicked out of you by the best of the best.
So, you are right. The Sox might not be there.
Be honest. As a Ranger fan, wouldn't you rather face any team in baseball besides the Sox, Rays and Yankees.
I honestly think the best teams in baseball are in the AL.
The Sox will be healthy in two weeks.
You have not seen a healty team. Hopefully you will.

I will talk **** all i want. Thats all you do. You think the f****** red sox are the greatest thing to ever happen to baseball and they arent. Yeah the al east is the best division in baseball i have never denied that. It has been the best division historically but it isnt because of the sox, its because of the yankees they are the most dominate team in baseball.

Wait, you are talking **** here and the Sox have rings from 2004 and 2007.
Seriously?
The Rangers are 0 for existence. They have never been good enough to play in the big game, let alone win.
Kid, while you are entertaining, it must suck to be you.
the yankees they are the most dominate team in baseball.
And the biggest chokers in the history of baseball.

I sure as **** dont want to play the yankees thats for sure. I would rather play the sox then the rays. I think the only team that would kick the **** out of us would be the yankees. We could beat any team that comes out of the al central and we could beat your sox even if they are healthy.

And three games later you are in the off season.

Again i never once claimed that the rangers have a better history than the sox you ******* *******. You always seem to think that im implying things when im not. Im fully aware the rangers do not have a world series title. It is actually pretty good being me, i dont base my life around what my baseball team does, like you seem to.

So you are worked up?

No, i feel better now that i let that out. Good luck to you and your beloved sox the rest of the season. As much as i dislike you at the moment. I hope the sox can over take the yankees somehow because i hate them.

There is almost zero chance the Sox will win the Wild Card.
The Sox are the only chance to beat the Yankees but that will not happen. They can't catch the Rays.
The Yankees will win the series again this year.
I'll still watch a lot of baseball this season, but I feel it is all about next year. With the trades the Yankees made they are pretty much unbeatable over 5 or 7 games.

Well good day to you sir. I apologize for calling you a ******* *******, i was out of line. I understand that you are proud of your team and rightfully so.

We all love our teams. I do appreciate that you fight for yours. This is why baseball is amazing. It bring out the passion in people and it should. It is a passionate sport.
Youk is out until at least mid August, maybe the season if he needs surgery...
I guess the only good news is that we have the 2007 World Series MVP without a job (who just went 11-22 with 4 HR's in 5 AAA games) and he can play first. Not sure if that will be the case.
