I love this game. Especially when people throw away good players and I can snag them.
As I always say, 40% of my championship team is always made up of cast aways via waiver wire acquisitions.
I am pleading to the league: Please toss great players away this week based on the short term. I count on that. If you are all rational and understand talent, I don't have a chance in ****.
Colts are playing great. Just sayin' :p
I am almost for sure I will be winning this week. I still have Peyton, Pierre Garcon, and Reggie Wayne playing then I have Reggie Bush, and my opponent (who has CJ2 btw) only has 1 more guy to play. 2-0 start, not bad. Looking forward to Week 6 already :D
2-0 Start. My team is playing extremely well
I had a stumble out of the gate, but led the league in scoring this week and have been rapidly improving via the WW.
One point away, and the Packers cough up the ball. I only need 9 passing yards for the tie (which I would have won via the tie breaker) and the Bears are going to try and run down the clock and get the final possession/score.
Just not my day...
1 of the 3 undefeated teams, not too bad. 3-0 is a mighty nice start. I am only winning my division by 1 game though, and I only won this game last week by 2 points, so I need to step it up.
You'll do fine Spinner... this was a weird week with lots of last minute or early-game injuries and it's generally not so common for so many teams to score in the 50s/60s.
This week I play against The Man Himself ^_^
it's generally not so common for so many teams to score in the 50s/60s.
...and actually win while other teams score 109 points and lose by 1. ;)
Cutty Sarks, you aren't playing at Defending VFL Championship level. Step it up if you want any chance Week 6 :P
I've scored the second most overall behind the Jackalope Herd. It all comes down to the luck of the draw: Who you are playing and how they do.
That said, over time the better teams (i.e those putting up the most points overall) begin to rise to the top. ;)
Really wish i would have started Austin Collie this past weekend. I would have won. Its pretty sad that he alone outscored my other 3 wr's combined, 29 to 11.
Yes Lionsfan, Austin Collie was amazing this past weekend. Never doubt a good Colt :D.
B, I have a pretty good PF and PA myself. Week 6 will be a battle.
B,
It's got to be an ugly feeling knowing that you need Marshall to score 38 pts to win, but against the Pats.
I knew I'd lost when by the second half of the Packers game. Things just aren't clicking for me right now.
That said, I can't wait for tonight's game.
Great, two players carted off the field on stretchers (Finley & Clayton) and it is only the second quarter of the early games. I can't buy a win these days, lol.
Don't you love it when you need Percy Harvin alone to score 17 Fantasy Points on Monday Night Football and he scores 21? :p
Vevmo Football Inc gets topped and loses its perfect record to the looking unbeatable 5-0 Spinning Cyclones 73-68.
But this week is the big game. And too bad for Bacchus its not my bad bye week. Week 6: Defending VFL Championship Cutty Sarks look to get back on track after losing 3 of 5, but it will be no easy task because they are taking on one of the 2 undefeated teams left in the VFL, the Spinning Cyclones! The Cyclones are coming off a Monday Night victory over Vevmo Football Inc. Should be a battle!
Good Luck Bacchus :D
You have a really good chance of doing that. Due to it being the Colts bye week and I am gunna' be losing alot of firepower.
****, that would suck if you lost two weeks in a row! :D
I'm still trying to figure out how the WW works. How did B beat me for Hines Ward this week even though he won last week and I lost? Seems kinda shiisty...

The waiver wire is reset every Tuesday morning, based on your overall record.
It is just how it is done in the NFL. Every team has a shot at a waiver player based on record. When someone uses a waiver claim, they then drop to last in the order and so on and so forth...
Waiver position is maintained throughout the week.
If a player goes unclaimed through waivers, then they become an unrestricted free agent and anyone can claim them without losing waiver position.
I look forward to stomping the Cyclones flat next week.
It is always fun to stomp the Cyclones. Sadly, you get "sloppy seconds" in that regard. ;)
I'm admittedly losing interest, but I look forward to stomping the Cyclones flat next week.
Looks like you basically have a bye week as Spinner has been MIA from vevmo and his roster since his whooping. :devil2:
