Glee - Spoilers

Saw on Hollywood Reporter they cast a soap star to play Sam's mom and hinted she might have a few episodes so maybe Sam comes back as a result of a divorce. Also read that there is no skin shown in the Blaine-Kurt first-time for fear it would create too much controversy since Blaine is supposed to already be drunk for the encounter.

I really enjoyed the episode. I thought it was done perfectly. I am glad that I wasn't bored to tears with stupid music. Most entertaining episode so far this season.

I found the episode very lackluster. As a musical person I really love [I]West Side Story[/I], but overall as an episode it was boring. The Bieste storyline was the only thing I really enjoyed. Definitely not the most entertaining so far and probably the second worst on my list. The best one so far was the Asian F episode. I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint next week, as promising as it looks.

I feel like they need to find a good balance between music and story. They have been having trouble finding that middle ground this season. I didn't mind the lack of music because it had a great story.

So so so good!

Now that is the music I want to see on glee. Top 40!

The more I listen to the song though, the more I wish that Santana would have just been singing "Someone Like You" instead of the mashup. I think it would have been more powerful and epic.

I think Santana has a great voice. She just gets poor songs. God, I wish they'd give her a MegaDeath song rather than these ones--just something with some rock edge.

She had a couple good songs (like Back to black), but generally, I don't think she gets a lot of or even great songs. I just think she sounds different here.... not bad, just different.

Rachel won't be singing at sectionals due to her stuffing the ballot box for Kurt. I'm sure they will still find 50 ways for her to sing in the episode though. Misc. spoiler I've read and recall are that Sam has been working as a stripper during his absence, comes back to McKinley, rejects Quinn advances, and pines for Mercedes. New Directions and Troubletones do not merge for sectionals as ND uses members of the school band to fill in the shortage in their numbers. I've read some confusing spoiler hints for Santana in terms of sectionals but the storyline there seems to have something to do with her lebianism.

Read Sue loses to Burt and that Sam and Blaine get in an argument which makes me wonder if they are setting Sam up to be a gay character for Season 3.

By the way, Finn is an *******.[/QUOTE] I'm just guessing, but since they are going to be losing all the gays and there has been something odd about the Sam character all along in the romance department, that is what I'm anticipating. That source doesn't give good spoiler IMO compared to others. She just hints and hints and hints. Other sites say that ND does win sectionals; Quinn who is baby shopping for a daddy goes after Sam but he blows her off; Sam goes after Mercedes again which could maybe pan out since they do a Christmas duet (All I want for Christmas is you); Blaine and Sam's fight is that Sam thinks ND, as a mostly male group now, needs to go man sexy for sectionals but Blaine thinks its a horrible idea and takes some cheap shots at Sam. Whatever feud is supposed to be going on between Blaine and Finn gets resolved ( I don't recall there being a feud). Santana is not believed to perform with ND at sectionals but is there on stage so I assume the troubletones will get there as well. Kurt and the gay Warbler Sebastian are supposed to have some catty scenes together. None of the spoilers I have read through the Christmas episode really have grabbed me except Sam returns and Artie has some Star Wars Christmas dream with Chewbacca in it which at least sounds like it has some potential to be funny strange.

Everyone loves that character so he's a good draw for ratings.

I've read that the ratings have been horrible so far this year though it is not something I regularly check.
