In this fall, man this is very tough, um in this fall Peyton Manning's gonna take his talents to South Park and join the Denver Broncos.
Tebowie lives!
Just saw on ESPN that Tim Tebow was traded to the Jets. Mark Sanchez has gotta be nervous now. Also saw that Sean Payton, the New Orleans Saints Head Coach, has been suspended for a full year. Talk about sending a message!
Just saw on ESPN that Tim Tebow was traded to the Jets. Mark Sanchez has gotta be nervous now.
They just signed Sanchez to a 3 year, $40.5 million contract extension. I don't think he is that worried (at the very least he will be able to make his house payments, haha.) I believe Tebow is going to be spending a lot of time on the bench, being used for trick plays and short yardage unless Sanchez goes down to injury or falls apart. Tebow is not a franchise quarterback that a big market team like the Jets would want to build around. Interestingly enough, with all the Tebow hype - his value fell from a 1st rounder to a 4th rounder in under two years. For such a low price, it probably was an easy decision for the Jets to make the trade and find out what to do with him later. New England lost a 1st rounder for Spygate and that didn't involve the safety of players on the field.

They also just signed Drew Stanton and had Greg McElroy riding the pine pony. A team with 4 QBs, two of which are at the bottom half of starting QBs in the NFL? Stanton is useless and McElroy was injured through 2011, so Tebow will probably be first backup, but come on. Unless the Jets are trading one of the guys they already have...I don't think it was a good move. Was Jacksonville not willing to give up a 3rd round draft pick? Sad that a guy who was a 1st rounder a year ago and went 7-4 as a starting QB and made the playoffs as a rookie and won his first playoff game is only worth a 4th round pick... I kind of hope the trade is nullified and he goes somewhere else. Looks like JVille was having the same problems with the money as well.

Tim Tebow and Rex Ryan is quite the awkward combination.
Tebow, despite his "good morals" (or EXTREMELY well-kept secrets), still wins the Who'd You Rather on TMZ.
Looks like Jets fans are not very happy to have Tebow.
Looks like Jets fans are not very happy to have Tebow.
I don't blame them. Tebow is going to be a disaster, dividing the team and becoming a giant distraction in the biggest media market in America. It has already started and will only get worse.
Amazing. A packed house news conference for a backup quarterback - and the lead story on ESPN and Sports Illustrated with just about everyone else running a live feed. You'd think it was the announcement of the second coming! Wait...is it?
Whenever I hear "Tebow" I automatically tune out. Thank God I live in New England -- there's always enough agonizing over the Pats or the Sox to drown out whatever flavor of the week ESPN trots out for public consumption. Plus, you know, both of those teams actually win actual games that count.

Am I the only one that believes Tebow & the Jets are a good pair? Haha

Darren Davis, you're partially excused as the worst Wonderlic score ever...although I'm not sure he could claim a learning disability as an excuse. Each team has one model - a player on the team you know (Suh, Polamalu, Welker, McFadden, Revis, Witten, Urlacher, Fitzgerlald, etc). Denver, Minnesota, Indy, and New Orleans don't even have one; Denver, Minnesota and Indy used jerseys that aren't even anyone on the roster, and New Orleans used their backup QB's number.

It's like they have been mandated to change unis every few years or so.
This could be considered damaging. Gregg Williams: 'We Want His Head Sideways'... 'Kill The ******ing Head'... 'Take Out That ACL'

Apparently Packers fans voted for him so he would get the Madden Curse or something. He trounced Rodgers in the semi-Finals.
I'm guessing he goes down with a torn acl running on a treadmill during preseason.
Former Patriots linebacker Junior Seau found dead in apparent suicide Death and the 1994 Chargers (8 dead before the age of 45.) • Five months after that Super Bowl, LB David Griggs drove his car off a freeway ramp and slammed into a sign pole. Subsequent tests would show that his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. • In 1996, RB Rodney Culver and his wife were aboard ValuJet FLight 592 from Miami to Atlanta when it crashed into the Everglades, killing all on board. • In 1998, LB Doug Miller was struck by lightning while camping in Colorado. CPR was being performed on Miller when he was struck again by a second bolt. • In 2008, C Curtis Whitley was found dead in his trailer in Texas. Whitley had a history of substance abuse and had twice been suspended by the NFL, and toxicology results pointed to an accidental overdose. • Also in 2008, DE Chris Mims was discovered facedown on the bathroom floor of his Los Angeles apartment. An autopsy revealed an enlarged heart, and Mims weighed 456 pounds at his death. • In 2011, DT Shawn Lee died from cardiac arrest brought on by years of complications with diabetes. • Also in 2011, Lew Bush suffered a heart attack at his home in San Diego. Since retiring in 2002, friends say he had struggled with his weight. • Today, Junior Seau, an all-time great, dead at the age of 43.

Usually their teams always fall short of the Super Bowl. And then the one year they do make it a quarter of the roster from that year dies.
