I think it is Jack's boat. They were panning on the wreckage and the last thing they showed was the boat's name, Amanda. I think it's too easy to assume Jack was the one in it, though.

It was a boat - "The Amanda" (Jack's boat). I think it was in a flash forward.
That makes a lot more sense now, because I remember it was 3 months from what we saw and Victoria was already supposedly dead. I guess I just missed the part where it said it was the Amanda. Thanks for the clarification ladies.
Jinx! ;)
I do think you're right in saying that we shouldn't assume that it's Jack on the boat. I'd honestly like to hope it's Amanda (the fake one), but it clearly looked like a man.

I'd also like to take this time to say I think it would be really good for Nolan's um, character, to continue working out and remain shirtless. :-D
Ahhhh, that too...
I think Bacchus is going to regret ever watching this show and talking with us about it. :D And of course Josh Bowman is looking as good as ever as well. I really just wish they'd let him keep his British accent for the show.
Don't worry about B, there's plenty of eye candy for him too.
It's all about the heroine, Emily VanCamp. Pretty. Smart. Fills out a maid outfit well and speaks French fluently. Pure win! ;) But yes, there is much eye candy and dare I say even Madeleine Stowe at 54 is quite the beauty (although Victoria is evil Pure evil.)
YEEEEEEAH! First, I'm happy my favorite guilty pleasure is back. Second, it had a 3.2 rating against NFL (I know, probably not much audience overlap, but still happy about the rating, and it only lost 0.6 in demo viewers and 1.5 mil in total viewers compared to Once, which is also good). Regarding the first episode, I can't wait to see more of Jennifer Jason Leigh, still absolutely perfect casting. I HOPE that Ashley and Daniel will stay together very long (or simply be off'd at some point), because they are by far my least favorite characters here. I also like Charlotte more and more, her acting has definitely improved (or I just didnt notice it in the first half of season one), and they finally have some significant use for her character. Also enjoyed the (though brief) cooperation between Emily and Victoria! I know they are supposed to be on opposite ends, but still I somehow want them to work together and destroy everyone else; yeah, I know, totally delusional :D
I have officially joined the Revenge bandwagon!! I became addicted and had a major marathon all last week so I would be caught up for the premiere. I also think it's way too easy to assume it's Jack on the boat. My hope is for it to be Daniel because he has annoyed me ever since he did the 180 and became an evil Grayson. He and Ashley can have each other. Speaking of Ashley, I think that she is sleeping with Conrad or at least there is something else going on there. He did give her that car and a new job and Conrad's reaction to Daniel saying she was smart enough to not cheat on him seemed a little telling. I also very much enjoyed the ab-tastic show Jack and Nolan put on last night. ;) I still find it hard to believe that the actor playing Nolan is 40! Oh, and they replaced Emily's sensei guy because the actor is filming Wolverine so he couldn't continue. I am definitely looking forward to Nolan being roomies with Emily aka Hampton's Batman because he really is the best part of the show.

I love this show, I am such an addict, I started watching a week ago, caught up with all of season 1 and watched the first episode of season 2 a few days back. It's gonna start airing here in Holland soon but I couldn't wait when I saw the trailer on tv here, so decided to watch it online. I loved Daniel and Emily together, Jack and Emily not so much. I did start hating Daniel though, when he became the younger version of his dad. I do see that he struggles with it, from the first episode of season 2, so I hope somehow that he goes back to being the good Daniel, so they can have babies together. I've hated Ashley from the start, she's two-faced, and I can't believe she's with Daniel and he's not very galant about it either but I still think she's a ***** for not being a true friend to Emily(even before she got together with Dan.) Jack is boring as a character to me, I think they should give him more to do than to just sit around and be depressed all the time. Maybe Aiden will bring a fresh look to it. Overall, the show is amazing, so much suspense.

It's anyone else disappointed that it's (really) Jack's baby? Also, **** Victoria, I was almost feeling sorry for you! :p
It's anyone else disappointed that it's (really) Jack's baby?
That was very, very disappointing. It makes me secretly want horrible, unspeakable things to happen and soon.
It's anyone else disappointed that it's (really) Jack's baby? Also, **** Victoria, I was almost feeling sorry for you! :p
I really was. I think they could have gone in a great direction had it really not been his baby, but I can see why they want to stir the plot. Going against what the viewers want is a good direction in my opinion.
And if it's true that a character is supposed to die, I'm hoping it's Amanda...the fake one.
Thats what revenge is all about! stirring the pot... and if that spoiler is true... I am super excited for whats to come!
I wasn't that disappointed because it made what Emily did by lying to Amanda that it wasn't Jack's even more twisted! Now she will have the guilt hanging over her and feel like she owes a BIG one to Emily. I'm hoping the person at the bottom of the ocean with The Amanda is Declan. That kid is useless. Oh yes! Please let me hold that obviously stolen bracelet for you for a mere $500! You seem like such a stand up guy! No problem! Sounds like the best deal ever! Uggghhhh. How stupid can you be?

I have to admit I've been quite disappointed in this show the last few weeks... I am not even sure who or what to root for at this point. Jack is a loser who doesn't deserve Emily (aka Amanda). Declan is annoying and guaranteed to always make the wrong decision. Daniel is a lost secondary character now dating the gold digging loser, Ashley, who is totally one dimensional. Nolan is falling into a trap with his new CEO Padma, who is as obvious as they come. The Graysons (both moral losers) have never been more contrived (i.e. ridiculous wedding). Faux Amanda (the biggest loser) is still alive (the possibility of her death was the only shred of hope I had going for me last week) while not-her-mother (miscast Jennifer Jason Leigh) is a character without a point eating up screen time. Satoshi Takeda is a shell of his former self (actually not even his former self). Meanwhile, Emily has become weak and lost whatever focus she had. The only character I find at all intriguing this season is Aiden (who I am sure will be killed off in order to keep the Jack/Daniel pathways clear for Emily). I really hope they right the ship as the current sophomore slump has moved it from "must-see TV" to, "I'll watch it when I can on Monday or Tuesday TV."
The writers have messed up big time here. Barely engaging, pointless storylines, every character has lost his/her focus, some even more than the real Amanda, and getting rid of the list is really messed up. The worst decisions IMO up to now: - Faux Amanda forgiving Real Amanda way too easily - either kill her off to create tension, or upgrade her into a threatening advert to Real Amanda; both directions would have made Jack's role pivotal, don't even know how to make him interesting again right now. - Declan's storyline is ridiculous, a pointless sideplot that is even recognizable at that; it would have been better to pair him with Charlotte permanently and let them investigate something that is closely tied to the main arc. - Victoria and her "husband" are way too weak right now, that's not fun, that's a drag; that's also proof that it's never good to add too many half-baked villains to any show; right now I distrust and dislike the Graysons, Daniel, Amanda's mother, that new guy who wants the bar, that strange, ridiculously clichéd organization, and practically everyone else, but no one is a big enough threat to be really engaging. Only good point: reintroducing Mason again, not sure if they'll have something smart for him at least though. Hopefully they'll pick up again, otherwise I'm gone in a couple of weeks.
I really liked last night's episode. I have always wondered what would happen if someone discovered that Emily was really Amanda, and am looking forward to seeing how the writers handle it. My guess is murder, but it could be anything, really... I do also really like that Aiden questioned Ashley's surroundings in all of this and Emily brushed her off as an easy target. I've always wondered if she had a deeper role in all of this and hope they address that as well.
Man, I am really liking this season so far. I mean, we had a pregnant lady fall from a balcony during a fight and slip into a coma, a mother reappear and end up being married to the man who killed her husband and someone arrested for murder during their wedding while the wife plots her next move in her Vera Wang gown! I can't ask for much more during my nighttime soap. Maybe I'm just old school and get enough enjoyment out of pretty clothes, well dressed men and a good fall from a balcony now and then. I do admit that the Jack/Declan/bar subplot is boring and stupid and I can only hope it's one of them at the bottom of the ocean in the boat.
Loved Sunday's episode. I really enjoy Aidan and Emanda together. He's so much better than Daniel and Jack.
Due to Sunday Night Football, I'm only five episodes into this season on the DVR. I feel like I'm starting to get a season two of Prison Break vibe.
My patience is quickly running out on Revenge. I am struggling right now to watch Sunday's episode... Edit: It actually did get better toward the end. At least something actually happened of note.
My patience is quickly running out on Revenge. I am struggling right now to watch Sunday's episode... Edit: It actually did get better toward the end. That's when the exciting things are going to happen, at east the previews made it seem exciting!!
Some of it is starting to get predictable. They showed the boat with Just Married on the back and I knew the Ryan brother (aka Michael Trucco) was already onboard. There was no surprise there. I do enjoy the show. While I love Nolan's lines, I'd hate to think that Jack is turning into Job and if Emily had actually stayed away how much different his life might have been. I do have to root for Dec and Charlotte now if only because it seems the most pure relationship with nothing hidden.
I'm thinking it's going to get a little better on the next episode.
Fake Amanda dying was the best thing that has happened on this show since Tyler bit it. :D
