It would be horrible if that person from production was married. Saw a rumor in the discussion thread that she slept with a married man
that came up during/after her RW season... I think you guys are mixing things up
Well they are.
I think this is Paula hatred speaking. Of ten challenges Paula/Emily won six and came in 2nd on two. Of the 9 challenges that Cooke/Cara did they came in: 4th, Top 3, bottom half, bottom half, 2nd, bottom 2, last, 2nd, and 1st. They did win two Jungles but one was basically 2 v 1 because, if you watch, Anastasia stops doing anything halfway through because she's having her anemia thing.
Cara and Cooke are both very good athletes and they're a solid team who will do well in the final, but its ridiculous to say that they've been a better team than Paula/Emily so far.
No they aren't in anyway Emily and Paula never came in last and Emily and Paula won over half the challenges
i agree with you emily and paula are stronger then cooke and cara.....paula this season has been stronger then both cara and johnny actually...i think that emily and paula did not deserve to go against diem and aneesa...they deserved to go right to the final and i want them to win the whole thing.

Why would it be "mining things up." Past behavior may well be indicative of present character -- or lack thereof.
That's not a horrible horrible horrible secret like you previously implied. You did also imply it had to do with Diem. Cmon V1 don't act like you didnt say or imply those two things.
If she slept with BMP crew, not that horrible, and wouldn't be the first time for BMP crew and a Challenger.
Suzi married a sound guy from The Ruins.

First, you have no ******* clue. Second, my words speak for themselves. It's hardly my fault if your reading comprehension skills don't meet the test of my carefully chosen words. I've given as much as I can following request after request that I "tell all," which I would never do since I never reveal what would have been a spoiler if it had been included in the episode as expected. I've been deliberately vague, hoping to set the stage for Diem's interview. If I'd given everything away, what would be the point of an interview?
It is important for people to remember that the After Show was taped in LA on the day Rivals II premiered. They do get to see an episode that relates to the premier, but apparently it must have been edited after the After Show taping.
This is one of the reasons why this will be my last interview here at vevmo, and the beginning of the end of my tenure, which some will no doubt cheer. I don't know any of the new cast, and no longer have any business interest in getting to know them.
I'm just trying to figure out what went down...which sucks because if production decided not to show us anything, then what do we have to work with?
V1man, I'll be disappointed to see you leave Vevmo when the time comes; you've seem to always have a lot of information for the fans that want to know more about these people. Personally, I agree with you; most of us tend to come up with conclusions too quickly without thinking much of it, or read into simple given hints. Either way, something happened with Cooke that Diem is upset about...will we ever know? We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
I tried to speculate on what was the scandal involving Cooke, but couldn't come up with anything.I cannot say anything on the matter of how I perceive Cooke to be simply because there is not much to go on. I do not recall any memorable scenes of her outside the actual game portion. Obvious due to editing.

And this is why I've suggested that speculation is pointless.

There is a BIG difference between vague and misleading. I'm not going to go back through the threads and weed through them to find quotes to extract, but don't act like you were simply vague. Saying that would be....misleading.
"No longer have any business interest in getting to know them" - Twitter disagrees, unless that's just for personal interest.

I have absolutely no idea what the above means in reference to Twitter.

I agree. If I had the time to go back through every post, I could find many of you "hints" that have been very condradicting. Has me wonder how much you true ly know. Again, where is this Diem interview that was suppose to be out yesturday?
I see it like this... the "hint" seems to indicate someone from production - I'm not aware of any of the competitors whose career/marriage would be affected by hooking up with Cooke. If it is someone from production, I'd guess T.J.. He's married and before I even read any of this, I thought I saw an extra twinkle in his eyes when he was announcing that Cooke and Cara Marie had advanced. Of course, it could just be any other random production person... but that wouldn't be really all that interesting as I think that seems to happen on a good amount of these shows. I also can't see why that would really get Diem worked up - unless it was in combination with....
On the other hand, the After Show seems to indicate something went down with C.T. - there's also a real quick shot of C.T. and Cooke getting out of a bunk together, during the Diem crazy montage. I don't exactly see how that would create any of the drama V1man hints at... isn't that just typical Challenge behavior? But... I'd guess C.T. and Cooke did the deed... or something close to it.

Maybe they did the deed after Cooke won/Diem lost or perhaps the night before the Elimination ... mind you, this is idle speculation of the sorted sort.

It only involved Diem because she was told that she was being targeted. As for the scandal, I took the hints as not revealing the situation (saying to think outside the box) and who exactly where all the partakers involved but who it definitely affected.
Diem has stated that Cooke is the only person that she has had such a level of dislike for. Why all the sudden now? Diem has done challenges with a lot of people and it is uncharacteristic of her to dislike somebody to such degree for absolutely no reason. Cooke has shown in the past that she doesn't care about who or what she steps on in order to satiate her own desires(Heather Marter). Diem's disliking Cooke for good reason is very believable to me based on their histories. Cooke does not seem like a trustworthy person.

On the After show Diem mentioned that she heard that Cooke said she would break Diem by flirting with CT. I get that a lot was left out due to editing but I really don't think there is much more to the story than this. Cooke comes across as someone who was pretty much focused on winning the challenge. I don't think she much cared for the game drama. Keep in mind that Cooke knew Diem was running the challenge and that Diem was targeting Cooke's team. The "break Diem" comment may have been in response to that. Or, in response to Diem calling Nanny a **** for dancing with CT.

Read Diem's blog in People this week. You'll find out what you're speculating about in black and white.

I did read Diem's blog. I don't think she elaborated on the situation beyond the, "some girl was mean to me", without providing details of what that entailed.

Diem is not going to give Cooke any attention by mentioning her name in People, but that is who she is writing about.

I understand she was referring to Cooke. What I'm saying is that she didn't give details about what exactly Cooke did TO HER that was so bad. It seemed very vague and coupled with the BMP edit of Wednesday night's episode I just couldn't wrap my head around Diem's feelings towards Cooke. When Diem and Aneesa won the shock challenge Diem did a celebration dance. When Cooke won the last challenge Diem found fault with Cooke's smiling. It doesn't add up to me. I know there is much that is not shown on the shows, I know there has to be more to the story, but Diem was so vague in providing the details in her blog. She could have shined a really clear light on her side of the story, but she didn't. That tells me that her case isn't very strong to begin with. In any event, that is the conclusion I have drawn.

Noted. The "People" blog was intentionally vague, and that is one significant reason why we do not yet posted our interview with Diem. I'd prefer a very clear and even detailed presentation of the background.
There is still the live reunion show to come and angst in some quarters that this may only be dealt with in that forum.
Cooke was given a good edit on her RW season. So it is plausible that they gave her a good one on The Challenge as well. She was actually really nasty to Heather. They edited out the part where it was revealed that Dustin's friend, who Cooke slept with, had a girl back home. Cooke went to Heather for advice, then a couple of days later tried to sleep with Dustin. I really like Cooke, but she does seem to have a strong competitive side when it comes to men.

Fair enough, I get what you are saying. I hope that at some point in time that Diem will clear up some of her contradictions. She called Nany a **** when Nany danced with CT and then denied it. When Nany confronted her about being a crazy ex-girlfriend Diem denied this as well. Yet, on the Aftershow Diem admitted that it does bother her to see CT with other women. I don't find fault with Diem feeling this way, I do find fault with her personally attacking other women because of her own "uncomfortable feelings". If there is some other reason why she personally attacked Nany I'd love to hear it. If it was because of Nany's dancing with CT then Diem needs to own it and apologize. Keep in mind that Nany became the focus of a house joke because of all this.
Over time I have learned that the best defense is a good offense. "I didn't do anything wrong, so and so did . . .this AND that".

As far as I know, Nany and Diem are fine with each other. Whatever happened was apparently left in Thailand.
As far as I know, Nany and Diem are fine with each other. Whatever happened was apparently left in Thailand.
Which would be a testament to Nany's good heart, not Diem's. That Nany can forgive quickly and move on is a good thing, I don't think Diem possesses that same quality. It can be frustrating to see Diem receive quick forgiveness for her mistakes, while she holds on to anger when she is on the receiving end of other people's mistakes. That is the perception that I have in all of this.

Anne, you seem like a bright person. I know you know the terms slander and libel. How could she blog a name? Even if she wanted to?
