This would be my kinda sorta ideal cast based on how casting is right now. I know 3 people may not wanna do it but if they did I'd be satisfied. This cast is not perfect by no means but its pretty solid IMO.
[B]Cohutta & Nany[/B] (the two were in a on and off again relationship on Free Agents-- Yes, I know their not "Exes" but I much rather see Nany with Cohutta than Bananas or CT. Plus, Nany & Cohutta are super cute and fans are loving them as a couple right now)

All RW & RR seasons before Fresh Meat are Old School. Fresh Meat - Chicago (2014) is New School.

I agree I feel like the first Fresh Meat was a major turning point for the franchise. It's a little sticky because people like Cara Maria have 7 challenges under their belt while a guy like Cohutta has about 3.

That's a nice divide. Personally I feel like there could be 3 groupings within the history of The Challenge. The first being Eric Nies and friends through The Gauntlet II. Fresh Meat 1 would mark a second generation of competitors through The Ruins. Fresh Meat 2 to current-day would be this current generation.

I definitely agree there are three divides you could pick out. The only issue then would be someone like Lacey. Her season was in the second grouping, but her challenge debut was in the third, so where does she fit?

She's someone you can put in either spot...but probably "New School"
Personally, I like the definition of "old school" as appearing on a show that was 30-minutes long. So, Sydney would be the newest "old school"... I think Viewer's Revenge was 30 minutes long, and Inferno 3 was the last 30 minute long Challenge.

Very true there's some sticky cases à la Lacey within each generation. Wishful thinking but I'd love to see this hypothetical old school team led by Mark Long, Eric Nies and peanut butter Puck!
