They come for the free vacation and appearance money. There is no point to have Emily & Laurel on the same team because neither are going to lose eliminations or get voted in against each other. And the rookie girls need a Ashlee or a Arielle who I can see being strong.

While I do agree with you that it isn't charity. At the same time it's not interesting when the competition is lopsided and unbalanced. The Ruins is proof of that. It makes for better competition and a better show when the competitors are balanced or at least you can't point to anyone and say "hey they're going to win easily!" This is why The Gauntlet 2 was one of the best challenges IMO.

The rookie girls arent that bad you just didn't pick good ones, replacing Jamie & Jenny with Arielle & Ashlee would be a huge improvement IMO. Add in people like Svetlana, Mallory & Brittni and the rookie girls are pretty good....

I found the Ruins to be very entertaining. Wes vs Cohutta was very entertaining for the simple fact that it's fun to watch these rookies come out of nowhere and defeat these goliaths. I like seeing these vets being put to the test, that's why I had no problem seeing your King go into an elimination 3 times on Free Agents.
And what's better than seeing good competitors struggle against some sleepers? Seeing good competitors shiver when it comes time to see which one of them is going in. Although I do agree that Emily wouldn't really throw a fit, I can definitely see Laurel and Cooke or Laurel and Evelyn going at it because neither of them want to go in.

Evelyn wasn't on the list and unless it's like the gauntlet 3 and the other team sends someone in then neither Cooke Emily or Laurel would go in with that cast

Look at The Gauntlet 3. The Vets were set to win but the Rookies ended up winning.

Comment on the final 3 teams
I'd take the red team over blue and purple, all four members of red are stable mentally and in it for the money. They'd be the team to get along best and that would probably help them.
Purple team would be targeted because of the generation of vastmembers and Cara Maria always finds herself if elimination rounds.
My final would be red, aqua, and green.
I love that cast though, good job Challenger 17!

Their "feud" isn't as bad as most people make it out to be. They are not on bad terms and are civil with each other. I've talked to Jonna while Free Agents was airing and she commented that she and Zach are never seen together when that really wasn't the case.
If they were to be teamed up in some sort, they both have clear eyes one the prize and wouldn't let petty past drama get in the way. I understand cheating and lying isn't petty drama, but neither is the kind of person to hold a grudge. It'd be just like Zach and Ashley together in Battle of the Seasons 2.

Other than the Emerald team being awful this is a pretty balanced cast
Abram supposedly won't do a challenge with Cara but you could easily replace her with Coral or Veronica or anyone else Abram hooked up with. Even Aneesa & Dunbar or Jenn & Adam if needed

4. I don't really know if Zach is a villain. Might replace him with Frank.

Nia is most definitely a villain...... Zach is after he treated Sam like **** all battle of the seasons. I put Jamie because she was a villain she went around invading everyone's business and spilling secrets and someone needs to go home first. Cory is a villain IMO after he treated Brian like ****. I get you hate Hailey but I like her and really Evelyn? She's no where close to coming back. Neither is Adam but he's a huge villain and this is fantasy.....

I actually love Hailey now! After almost finished Explosion so I agree :) and Zach true now if you see if from that season. Jamie I mean I can see but I feel like she did it for the right seasons. Why is Evelyn not returning? I know it's fantasy I just like to critque xD
