I'm way over this Tebow bull****. Actually I was never on board with Tebow to begin with... Good end to the game, but I honestly hope the Pats beat them into the ground...again.
I think the other team should get a possession even if the team scores a touchdown on the first drive. Also, I don't understand why they changed the rules for the post season but not the regular season.

Networks don't want to lose ratings because of a game on Fox taking forever in OT while CBS has the national late afternoon game or vice-versa.
The college overtime rules are pretty dumb. They just remove kickoff and punts completely. I think the NFL overtime rules are fine the way they are. There is no perfect system for overtime. Teams that get the ball first only win like 52% of the time anyways.
You might have just Googled that (as I did), but the article clearly states that is for the pregame coin toss, not the one to open overtime.

I just remember hearing that number from somewhere before. Here is the actual number: "The only time it's really relevant is overtime, where the team that wins the coin toss has won 59.8 percent of the time since the league adopted the sudden death format in 1974." via: New Orleans Saints can't make heads or tails of 0-11 streak - New Orleans Saints Football NFL News - NOLA.com It doesn't say what percentage of teams take it down the field and win without the other team getting the football though.
I didn't google it. I just remember hearing that number from somewhere before.
Either way - the original point I was making is that I don't find it fair that one team has the opportunity to score without the other team getting a chance. Both teams should have an equal chance to score - which is why I prefer college overtime rules. College OT games tends to feel faster, too. Sudden death is for hockey and soccer - not football. That's almost one in three games. That's a lot.

The catch? Rev Amy says it's a veggie sub "without meat, guts, or glory." Boom, God smack!
I really hope Tim Tebow pulls a Hollywood Hogan or a Lebron James and turns heel (wrestling term for becoming a bad guy or villain) soon. Then maybe I'd like him.
I'm a big believer in the idea that if God is making His presence known in everyday life then He probably wouldn't be wasting time with a football game but the 316 yards and 31.6 yards per completion is kind of nuts.
I'm not even going to answer this question...mostly because I have no idea.
I'm not even going to answer this question...mostly because I have no idea.
I'd rather have [strike]Reggie Bush[/strike] Kim Kardashian in the pocket than either of those two...
I'm thinking it is only a matter of time before someone hits Tebow so hard, he never scrambles from the pocket again.
It would seem, God is strong with the Pats... (At least in the first half. He could always change his mind, I guess.)
It is getting brutal. The Patriots are not only winning, they very well might be killing jobs in Denver.
Loving this so far. It's my first day off in over a week and I was really hoping that my day wouldn't be ruined by a horrible loss. No matter what happens, at least I can look back on a great first half. I still want to see Tebow cry though. And not from joy.
And don't forget! A new NFL record for Brady!!
This is not pretty.
It is getting brutal. The Patriots are not only winning, they very well might be killing jobs in Denver.
THEY TOOK OUR JOBS! Good riddance.
And don't forget! A new NFL record for Brady!!
Gronkowski had some sort of record too.
This game is terrible. So disappointing after watching the best game of the season finish seconds before kickoff.
Tom Brady ties the all-game record for passing TDs...3 minutes into the second half. Gee, I wonder if he will break it.
This game is terrible. So disappointing after watching the best game of the season finish seconds before kickoff.
I think that "terrible" is a frame on mind. There happen to be people who think this game is absolutely awesome, haha. That out of the way, I will say the early game was a classic.
This game is so beautiful. And it's only the third quarter!
Brawl after a 3rd down punt!
Tom Brady punted it further than any of Denver's punts. The man cannot be stopped.
The Saints Niners game was unbelievable. Probably the best game of the season. As for the Pats game, well that was getting hard to watch midway through the 2nd quarter. Is anyone else surprised they didn't bring Brady Quinn in?

Wow the Giants definitely came to play today. Eli Manning has 274 yards and 2 TD's at half.
