They only way I could see Allies creating drama is if half way through the game TJ randomly draws partners and those partners stay together for the entire game! This would force friends to go against each other.
Friends will argue during missions but so did Rivals.
You're missing the big picture, as did production, with Allies vs. Rivals. Rivals forces two people that hate each other to work together while they're still protected by their friends. Allies enables the Rivals to target one another which creates far more drama.
Friends never went against each other in Rivals--other than the last vote because Leroy stole it
How about a blood v water season? it worked out decent for survivor, however i'm not sure if it would work for the challenge, seeing as I don't think their friends/family member would want to go on it. As well, the mtv original (not family member) side would probably OWN the family member side, but it would be interesting dynamics.
Actually, I don't know if it would work out or if it would draw viewers but I also thought of the idea of "exile island" where competitors have a chance to come back. That would be a plot twist :P

I thought about a Blood vs. Water but that won't work either.
Or what if they did Rookies partnered with Veterans. I think it is time for some type of Rookies vs Veterans teams or partners or Old vs. New because the Rookies hate the vets, the vets hate the rookies and as mark says wants to regulate them but that would throw a wrench in the plan if they had to be partnered with them.
This could work but they would have to choose an elite cast that could bring drama from start to finish, a good title, and no draw, ALL politics and alliances.

This sounds like Fresh Meat Lite. I get the appeal of having veteran/rookie pairs but it will be the same dynamic as FM and FM2. the rookies will be dragged along in politics and blamed for everything. The only difference that could make that work as something besides a FM is that the rookies have their own loyalties from their seasons so they might try to get in the way of the politics. Even that already happened a bit in FM2 as the Freshies got friendly.

But these aren't random people though. These are people who have either done 2 or none challenges. It could have that Frank & Johnny, Camila & Jemmye appeal since that technically was a veteran/rookie team.

Make an Allies challenge similar to Rivals, same sex pairs, and have the elimination round be two separate games where the two winners return and form a new team. Then have the rookies choose the veterans as their partners instead of the veterans choosing a rookie to ride with them. That could shake some things up.

16 pairs of people that have been friends on their original season, allies in past challenges or just friend outside the shows. Will arrived in South Africa thinking that they will be pair with each other, but quickly they will learn that they will be playing against their "friend". They will be split into two different teams, one making up the Green team and the others comprising the Blue team.Suddenly your partner becomes your adversary, your competition.
No only they have to deal with going against each other, but also with the living condition and the lack of food. Gone are the days when a comfy bed and a fully stocked bar greeted the contestants after a difficult day. This time around competitors will have to find their own food and shelter. Staying loyal to your friend won't be half as hard as staying alive in the harsh jungle wilderness.
The winning team of each challenge will get better food, better place to sleep on and night out at the bar/club. Also, they will decide two of the people of the opposite team to go against two of them on a elimination.
TJ Lavin will then immediately offer each of the friends counter part of the four people voted into elimination the opportunity to trade places with them. Obviously if they are not going against each other on the elimination or if they haven't be eliminated yet.
Then on episode 7 the game becomes individual. How is that going to play out in a game where only one person can win? Backstabbing will take place, Heated rivalries will take shape, bitter "friends" will clash, friendship will be tested and heart-tugging relationships will form. Only the lucky few will face the epic final challenge.

I love it, you should do a season summary
THE CHALLENGE: FAKE FRIENDS
This Challenge is not about Rivals putting their differences aside to win $350,000 but instead Friends coming together to win $350,000 but are these people really friends or have they been faking it this whole time for the better of the game...
Male Teams
Bananas & Zach
Hated each other on Rivals II but are friends on Free Agents and now talk on twitter sometimes.
Brad & Darrell
Are friends but had a huge altercation on The Ruins. They said they were still friends but they don't speak to each other anymore.
Brian & Thomas
Claim they like each other but would always talk about each on Real World: Ex-Plosion
Cohutta & Wes
Said they were friends and liked each other on The Ruins but the first chance Wes got he tried to send him home.
Cory & Jay
Jay called him family but at the Real World: Ex-Plosion reunion Cory called Jay thirsty and desperate to Jay's surprise.
CT & Mark
They played cordial with each other on Battle of the Exes but CT admitted to not trusting Mark and ultimately sent him in to elimination against his best friend.
Frank & Jordan
The two had a huge argument on Rivals II and talked badly about each other behind the others back but now claim they like brothers.
Knight & Marlon
Knight made a derogatory comment about Marlon's sexuality which almost led to a physical altercation. Knight later apologized but Marlon stated that he still doesn't trust Knight and Knight admitted to knowing how to push his buttons if needed.

I love this idea in a way. The idea of having double eliminations which lead to changing partners. That game would have to be an individual final though or guy/girl pairs.
If it's opposite sex pairs, I can imagine Bananas avoiding eliminations all season (as usual because he's good at these) and then going in on purpose to get Paula as his partner because she's strong in finals and they're friends. It would be even better if people tried to do that and it backfired.
Either way, it means people handling the eliminations in a VERY different way.

Yeah the final would be 3 guy teams and 3 girl teams of whatever pairs are left in the end.
A format like this would be cooler with the rookie/veteran pairs versus allies.
Like the format could be male teams and female teams. Winning team is safe from elimination last place team automatically goes in and then the like the remaining teams must vote one team into elimination.
Then at elimination TJ draws names to see what the face offs will be!

This post was confusing...when you say "guy teams" I take it you mean same sex pairs.
I don't think that will work...Let's say Two guy/guy pairs enter the elimination...The worse 2 guys of the four will be eliminated and the remaining two will either remain a team or BECOME a team.
Are you going to kick off two guys AND two girls every episode? that needs to be a huge cast. I hate seasons with male and female challenge days separated because people like Wes will throw female challenges...although Rivals 2 seemed to fix that with penalties they made up on the spot AFTER Wes quit.

Yeah I meant same sex pairs but before an Exes I wouldn't mind seeing a Guy/Girl Rivals. There are some pretty great ones that would kick *** imo!

Then the challenges need to be on the level of Rivals II and Free Agents and the eliminations need to be wayyyyy better than the first exes and we have us a GOOD season!

I thought you didn't like the draw
I thought you didn't like the draw
I don't BUT I'm not crazy about the Exes format either, it was kinda boring and predictable imo. I think The Draw will be better with this than Free Agents because it still punishes one of the last place teams but it will also really force couples to work things out because at any moment they could go into elimination and really really have to work together to win. Lets just hope editing is better lol
That was my reasoning for it. Did you like the teams?
I mean, they HAVE family who could watch him... I highly highly doubt it would ever happen, but just saying... It's possible to find someone to watch him. Lol
And now Chet is offering to watch him, that might just be a joke tho
I don't BUT I'm not crazy about the Exes format either, it was kinda boring and predictable imo. I think The Draw will be better with this than Free Agents because it still punishes one of the last place teams but it will also really force couples to work things out because at any moment they could go into elimination and really really have to work together to win. Lets just hope editing is better lol
That was my reasoning for it. Did you like the teams?
Aside from big easy, Knight & Jemmye and a team of 2 boys yes
Aside from big easy, Knight & Jemmye and a team of 2 boys yes
Eric & Devyn I understand the hate and they would suck but that is such a weird couple no one ever saw coming, how could you not have them on Exes 2.
Knight & Jemmye is a popular ex couple with a lot problems but they are good. However, I can't say if Season 26 filmed in Aug or Sept and it was Exes, she might not be able to do it but I hope so!
I picked Derek and Marlon because how could you not have a same sex team. Aneesa and Rachel together were great and I think many people enjoyed that so another pairing like that should happen and Derek and Marlon fit. I really think BMP would do it too!

I mean they could still try to put Tori and Brad on Exes 2 but I doubt Tori would do it. Especially with none of her friends.

Which (although possible) is completely ridiculous because they're married and have been for a few years now. I wouldn't put it past BMP to do it though

Its still unfair IMO to have a same sex team because if its 2 guys then they have a easier shot at making and winning the final, but if its 2 girls then they clearly aren't winning a final.
I hate Knight & Jemmye, there drama is just annoying

They could always do Brad & Cameran though. Cameran said on twitter that she wants to do another challenge and Brad wants to do one. Plus, Cameran and Tori are friends, so I don't think she would mind.

I get what your saying but its a show in the end and its about entertaining people and a same sex can do that. plus Marlon and Derek are no superb competitors. I can see them going home mid-way.

But Marlon & Derek aren't bad and are definitely stronger and better competitors then girls.
Also neither of them are entertaining at all.so why use them as a example
BATTLE OF THE EXES 2
If they decide to put some Old School Exes in the cast like they did on the first one, then here are some I think
a) would do a challenge if they possibly knew what they were in for
b) could be the only interesting old school teams that are some what relevant and won't leave people completely confused even though it doesn't really matter lol
Brad Fiorenza (RW: San Diego 2004) & Cameran Eubanks (RW: San Diego 2004)
The two hooked up on Real World: San Diego 2004
Both have recently expressed interest in doing another challenge. Would be interesting to see Cameran again but I like her.

Brad Fiorenza (RW: San Diego 2004) & Tori Fiorenza (RR: Viewers Revenge)
The two dated on The Gauntlet III
Brad has expressed interest in doing another challenge and Tori did at one point too. Yes, they are married but they were called for the first Exes. I think they would be an awesome team and it would be nice to see them together again. I always enjoyed them as a couple and Tori is a firecracker so you never know. Plus, this challenge would bring drama but not to where Tori would wanna quit lol.

Darrell Taylor (RR: Campus Crawl) & Leah Gillingwater (RW: Paris)
The two hooked up on The Inferno
Darrell really wants to do another challenge. Leah said she wants to do one too but I don't really wanna see them on exes. I wanna see Darrell but not in this way.

Johnny Bananas (RW: Key West) & Casey Cooper (Fresh Meat)
The two hooked up on The Gauntlet III
Bananas well obvious lol. As for Casey its hard to say if she would do one or not. I know she is unemployed from her facebook because she just moved to Texas so you never know this would be a check and if they wanted her bad enough a pretty good one. Them together would be refreshing because he would for once have a bad partner lol :)

CT Tamburello (RW: Paris) & Diem Brown (Fresh Meat)
The two dated on The Duel
Tbh I only wanna see CT on an Exes 2 if he is with Diem. I don't wanna see him with Laurel, Mandi even though I think she is done, or Anastasia because she is done to, or anyone else he has hooked up with besides Diem. They were a lot of the reason why Exes was successful because people love this couple. I know Diem says she is done but maybe if she knew what she was in for and Tori possibly came she would do it. I mean it could work.

Let me know if I missed any Old School "Exes" that could possibly happen.

Darrell & Rachel is the old school exes team I would really love to see working together. I think there is probably a better chance of this happening then Darrell & Leah, but then again BMP might be scared of putting Darrell & Rachel together since they would probably dominate.

Oh I forgot about them. They would dominate so I'm not so sure I would wanna see them opposed to some other who could be beat in eliminations.
The Challenge: Road Wild
This gameplay concept for this challenge will be similar to that of Free Agents with missions alternating between individual, pairs, and teams. The eliminations will also be 1 on 1 separately for guys and girls. The big difference is that the cast will be traveling from state to state in a giant bus or trailer kinda like the casts did on Road Rules. They could even start with two trailers at the beginning of the season and then merge everybody onto one trailer midway through the game if they can't find a bus/trailer big enough to house the entire cast.
Guys:
Derrick
Darrell
Mark
Abram
CT
Johnny
Nick
CJ
Ty
Leroy
Zach
Swift
Jordan
Brian
Cory
Jay
Girls:
Rachel
Veronica
Katie
Susie
Jenn
Kellyanne
Sarah
Laurel
Cara Maria
Jonna
Emily
Nany
Ashley K.
Averey
Ashley M.
Jenny
There might be some long shots, but I tried to be realistic for the most part with the cast. I wanted to throw a good handful of road rulers since they would be perfect for this theme.
