Bad Girls Club (and spinoffs): Generic Thread

I figured Bad Girls Club and its spinoffs should have its own Generic thread just in case people wanted to share their opinion on certain seasons/people other than the current or upcoming one! Okay, so whenever I see rankings of BGC seasons, season 1 is always near the bottom. And to an extent, I agree with that ranking. As a season of Bad Girls Club, it was certainly not as good as some of the others. However, as a season of a reality TV show, I actually thought it was pretty great. It actually felt much more like an all-girl Real World season than a season of Bad Girls Club. There wasn't as much trashiness as one would find on a later season (even season 2), but it definitely had its moments (Ripsi's drunken rampage, Aimee vs. Ty). I think the reason for all this is definitely because the cast was firmly hit-or-miss. You had Zara, whose struggles made for good TV and who was involved in several major storylines. Aimee, whose sarcastic commentary was hilarious but who also wasn't afraid to mouth off when necessary. Ty, who was a real bad ***** who gave Aimee what she deserved (this coming from a huge Aimee fan). Leslie, who was just the definition of R E A L. And even Ripsi seemed like a true bad girl, drunken rampage and all. However, the rest of the cast were either not really bad girls or just duds in general. Kerry just wanted to further her (awful) music career and play the victim the whole time she was there, while getting on everyone (including the viewers') nerves. Jodie just wanted to lay around and complain. DeAnn, while I admit was very likable and had a few storylines, wasn't really what I would consider a "bad girl". And then there's JoJo and Andrea... who? I think they got a total of 5 minutes screen time between the two of them. Overall, this season felt very genuine. I don't think anyone was really acting it up for the cameras (minus Kerry) and the drama was all sincere and unforced. It was great seeing the interactions between the entire cast and watching how they all evolved as the show progressed. However, this isn't really what a typical viewer comes to expect out of Bad Girls Club, so I can see why it's not the most popular season. With the lack of physical fights (minus Ripsi and Ty vs. Aimee) and not as much drama as other seasons, Season 1 definitely felt more like a traditional Real World season than later BGC seasons, but I think overall it was very watchable and entertaining. Wow I really need to watch season 1! It's the only season I haven't seen, sounds awesome! LOL Can't deal with the ratchetness at times. And usually I didn't really care for the fights when there were entertaining bad girls. Like season 12, so far has not had anyone that I am really entertained by. :/ I love people like Tiara from BGC7. She was just so funny to me with how she got cheyenne out of the house. So simple, easy and hilarious. I also liked to watch the Love Games spin off, and I usually really enjoyed the Bad girls they cast for each of the seasons.

She made dinner for all the guys in the house... some whack macaroni and cheese and she got pissed because a few guys didn't come to eat right away. Like flipped haha. Love games was entertaining,it was a different dynamic with all of the guys and competiton on the show. Idk if you have ever watched TrueLife but Sydney was also on the "I'm ********" episode.

Sydney was lame IMO. The season 6 girls grew a backbone after the season and finally decided to step up to Char.

Bad Girlls Allstar Battle did it best when it came to playing with/against your rival. The Challenge Rivals didn't force drama between rivals, it did the opposite.

Survivor we rarely see people target each other based on what happened on their original season

Big Brother I don't remember any rivalries continuing from 1 season to the next.

One of my favorite rivalries of all time is Camilla vs Elease.

They randomly hated each other on Season 8 after Elease joined forces w/ the jumpahoes who jumepd her all season, to jump Camilla. Then Camilla beat Elease's *** at the reunion.

Then they reunited on Allstar Battle and made a secret alliance with each other. Elease promised to throw the challenge (and she did try to) but her team still won and Camilla got mad so she threw all of Elease's stuff in the pool including her "CHANNEL PURSE YO!" and then got into another physical altercation with her (which Camilla won as usual).

Then Elease tried to make up with Camilla and Camilla was like "w.e". Then when Camilla needed Elease's vote they became besties again, only for Elease to vote out Camilla and then get dragged for doing so (as usual).

Another example is Tiana & Sarah, they hated each other on their season and made the final 2 on Allstar battle.

Like the relationships were so intriguing to watch unfold on Allstar battle and it made for compelling television despite it still being a trashy show.

There's plenty of more examples:

1) Alicia and Valentina- they were best friends on their season but when she ****** up in the final episode for attacking Rocky, Val didn't like her and then it carried over to ASB 2.

2) Paula and Stephanie- they were really good friends back in Atlanta but on ASB 2, Stephanie betrayed Paula by telling her she won't vote her out and then end up in the end voting her out which Paula addressed at the reunion calling her "a weak *****". lol

She's been cool with Gabi for a while now and recently squashed her issues with Danni because it was childish. However, Camilla ended her frienship with Danni because she's cordial with Natalie and they filmed that video.

It's honestly the fault of social media and the young as stans that have no compression on life and maturity itself , once the word Weak was introduced to BGC in Season 6 , it went down hill from there , luckily for the ladies of S7 , they didn't see any of that season before filming so they got at least 1 more full genuine season.
