The reason a good season didn't win is because the kiddies who voted were not alive when they aired. They had no idea that The Real World could be about issues and have depth so they went with the most tolerable drunken **** that they had experienced. ;)

Let's see what is shown next week, and then I'll fill in what I generally know about them. Some of it is surprisingly interesting and totally unexpected.

Am i reading this thread correctly when it says AUSTIN won for best season?? HOW is that possible, that season was so bad it made my eyes bleed. with the exception of Wes and sometimes Johanna i hate every one of those kids with a passion, ESP Danny and Melinda ugh.

The best season was decided by people who have only seen as far back as Austin. MTV no longer cares about us, the other 35% of their market. Don't worry. Our geo/agra is off market and we will be done soon. I fully expect that MTV will fold (or Viacom fires everyone) in 2 years. They can not continue at this rate. They refuse to upscale their content and have become nobodies on a mega-million dollar budget. How to take successful cable channel and run it into the ground 101b...

My DVR is showing that the Real World Awards is running 1 hour 30 minutes tonight and 2 hours on Friday night. Maybe they are running an extended version? That would be sweet!

Just a plane ticket, hotel accommodation's and lunch money. I actually didn't even watch yet! I had Top Chef on and my DVR timer did not fire. I guess I'll wait for the extended version on Friday night.

what do they mean by extended version? is it gonna be good **** or re-hash, or bad ****?
