v1man you better pwn! lol
Let's do the analysis and perhaps then move past the BS. "Don't act all high and mighty because you're privy to insider information the rest of us aren't" -- I'm careful about what I share here. Vevmo's been a nice family where I've been welcomed and invited to share insider info when I can. If I wanted to show you "high and mighty," no one would have any doubt that I was attempting exactly that. "you are an old man whose occupation is to teach people how to stand out in reality shows" Ouch, that hurt. LOL. I'm 58, just like it says in my profile. When you are my age, I hope you don't think 58 is old. That would be sad. I still do a mile in a little over 6 minutes and the 100 meters I did in high school and college has backed off to a little over 12 seconds, off from my Iowa State relays record in 1968. My golf handicap used to be a 7; now, sadly, it is a 12. You have my occupation laughably wrong. Only two percent of my company's revenues are from 'making people stand out on reality TV.' "you seem educated enough..." -- Thank you. BA, Magna Cum Laude, MA, with distinction, JD, Diploma, National War College, Schedule 66 RR certification. "yet your whole life is based on reality TV" -- That will certainly come as news to my business partners and clients (note the 2% reality revenue figure above -- and you are well positioned to run a D&B check). The majority of our business (57%) is in consulting in the arcane legal world of international trade. About 30% is in pure public relations, some of which is Hollywood and network based. My personal ventures in the TV and film world came about through wise investments in several reality shows. Money and access do go hand-in-hand. "living vicariously through your associations with young, hip kids who you secretly wish you could've been like your whole life." -- Really? you could have fooled me. And here I've been feeling very blessed in my advancing years. Best fraternity at college (with friendly Tri-Delta sisters), killer career opportunities that I took every advantage of, brief off-Broadway musical role, modeled in GQ, appeared in over 20 community theatre productions about the US, studied voice with Beverly Sills, vacationed with Gloria Steinem on Tortola, married a charter member of NOW and buyer at Bloomingdale's in NY, and am blessed with a very talented 26 yr old daughter who is an accomplished attorney and budding professional athlete. "use your skillset to actually make a difference in the world" -- Past panel member and editorial reviewer, The Stanley Foundation (a world citizenship and effective global governance foundation); Trustee, Park Ave United Methodist Church, NYC; Member, Society for International Relations, DC; Past member, Council on Foreign Relations; consultant to several internationally sanctioned arbitration panels; local food bank volunteer, battered women's shelter volunteer; volunteer, Habitat for Humanity, corporate sponsor, Juvenile Diabetes Association, member, Special Forces Association. Is there something else I should be doing to make a difference for you.? "david stern look-a-like" -- Who is David Stern? During Joe Gibbs first tenure with the Washington Redskins, I used to get that comment frequently. Well, after all that, I'm bored.
What an eloquent response. It's so refreshing to read as opposed to "u suck looser [sic]!" Very mature and well-thought out.
The Real World show has great concept but it's failing to do anything beyond exploiting youth culture. Okay, I am getting old.
I'm only a couple of years older than these kids this season and they make me feel old.
Wow...this thread got cra-zy! I would just like to say that although I am on team Greg, I'm not a troll. I've been around (albeit rarely) since Sydney. Anyway. I lost respect for Will during the second episode when he said something about how since Sarah brought home a couple of guys, that must mean she's willing to cheat on her boyfriend. Um...what? He's such a fricken sleeze ball. Sure, he's got a cute smile and he can be nice, but he's got like zero morals. Dave is a ********. He can't see beyond the bleach and silicone in Hollywood. Have we seen him do ANYTHING besides use girls for *** or potentially try to use them for ***? Because of this...I think that they are WAY WORSE than Greg and his term "Associate" (which, as a female, doesn't offend me at all. I'm more offended at how Sarah and Kim throw around the words "*****" and "****" to any female who enters the house, including their own roomate Bri!). In fact, he seems to be the only one in the house (besides Sarah) with a "normal" relationship with someone. I do not blame him for not wanting to Reva to talk to them. Do you think he's stupid? He obviously knows that his roomates have a problem with him. If Reva isn't at the house to be with Greg, than why is she there? She's what I like to call an attention *****. And like I said before, any girl that can blow Will one minute and sweet talk Greg the next is downright trashy. Sounds like a poor, abused girl to me. Give me a break. lol. What was the point of lying to Greg like that? Why the games? It's because she's an attention *****. No other explanation! I HOPE YOU READ THIS, REVA! :) So, moral of the story is that Greg does less to "objectify" women than anyone else in the house. Bri's a stripper, Dave's a ********, Will could care less about monogamy, Kim throws the word **** around forgetting that she is one, Sarah does the same, and Joey isn't in the house so he doesn't count. Ah, I feel better. lol
Omg!! I cosign this 100%. It's like.. all of the Hollywood cast makes me sad. :(
Hey guys! I just saw that episode and I swear I'm going to bake some cookies to send Trisha..maybe a hallmark card while I'm at it :)
Hey guys! I just saw that episode and I swear I'm going to bake some cookies to send Trisha..maybe a hallmark card while I'm at it :)
lol parisa Yo, this entire thread was way more entertaining than the actual episode. Gonna pop me some popcorn and sit back, read, and wait for Reva's response!

what's going on mexico lately?
Posted By RockSteadyVybes: Yo, this entire thread was way more entertaining than the actual episode.
Lol. I agree. The previews made be think there was going to be ALOT more drama then there was. Don't get me wrong, I still liked the episode and there was alot of drama, its just the previews led me to believe there was more.
I think the next episode will be as entertaining, if not more, than the next. What does everyone think of the "sneak peak" preview for the next episode?
I Hate greg..and i was laughing when will went into the confessional greg's girl at first! BUT then when she went back and continued to say that nothing happened i just thought that was horrible...how he seemed so pathetic..i get he's a ******* but i dont believe in torturing people that much..whats with that girl anyways???? and why do the guys like her so much...shes not even that cute! its hollywood im sure they could do better????? Oh and by the way to the person who said sarah's boyfriend should of done more when greg was talking shit...COME ON theres a bit of a size diff there !!!!! if a girl who was 2 feet taller then me and 2 feet wider..and totally jacked started saying shit to me i wouldnt fly off the handle either..LOL he is a decent guy.
What in the ham sandwich happened in here? There is some serious internet thuggin going on in this thread. I think we can all agree to disagree. However, I don't agree w/ taking shots at Bacchus. You don't invite yourself over to someone's house, and then shit in the living room.

I Once had a cousin come over every week and **** on the same spot on my carpet ..and my parents never knew till eventually it got so bad the carpet had to be replaced..true story!
hey guys its Reva, ive been talking to bacchus and since there is only one side to the story right now I will be posting my side soon.
lol, you can fool Greg but you can't fool me. I know what I saw. I guess you weren't giving this girl a lap dance either, you guys were just "talking" lol...what the **** is this, a pajama party?
Don't be sorry... LOL This is a show about flawed young people who either demonstrate growth over several months of living together or they won't. Sara is no saint. Kim isn't. Dave isn't. Will isn't. Greg is simply a horrible casting mistake that many inside BMP readily acknowledge. He is not worthy of being called a flawed character because he is, simply put, a fraud.
Yeah, that made a lot of sense
This is absolutely absurd. You obviously do not recognize the classic signs of a domestic abuser. I guess that it would be ok for Greg to tell his future wife to stay in the house (permanently) so that the outside world does not turn her against him? Totally laughable...
You're exaggerating. I got personal life stories on that but I won't bore you. Just because he told her not to talk to the other women does not make him abusive. Look at what happened when Dave brought his lady friend home and they were talking to Kim. Reva is a smut and is having the time of her life. She's loving the attention. Some of my 'associates' know her.
I think we can all agree to disagree. However, I don't agree w/ taking shots at Bacchus.
Awwwww, you have my back. :D Not to worry though, as in the end I am the "Big Kahuna" around these digital parts and if anything actually offended me I'd be more than happy to delete it instantly, followed by the pressing of the big shiny red "Ban IP/User For-eeeeeeevah!" button (Yes, it's labeled just like that.) However, it did not get to that point and I've been known to put up a formidable defense to any onslaught, so please do not worry about my virtual safety (although I appreciate the gesture.) In order to avoid a few problems that I saw with yesterday's conversation I think we need a re-clarification of the Rules which I am to provide now: Rule 1. Do not talk about other posters (especially Bacchus) in an offensive manner (did I mention especially Bacchus?) or the post will be deleted (the Gods will be angry) and/or you will be banned (you know how much Bacchus likes pushing the big shiny red button, so don't do it!) Rule 2. Reference Rule 1 (and check out Vevmo's terms & conditions for a higher resolution view of the bottom line.) Rule 3. There are exceptions to Rule 1, but I have a feeling that unless your name shows up in red and has "administrator" under it (or you have a good amount of posts under your belt) - you are probably not going to be able to explore those technical nuances to the Rules, safely. Fair? I think so. Simple enough? Yes.
You don't invite yourself over to someone's house, and then shit in the living room.
Unless you're Somethin' from "Flavor of Love." LOL Kidding aside, I agree, let's stop taking shots at each other and take them out on the RW Hollywood cast instead!
I made 3 observations while watching this episode. 1) Even when he's supposed to be especially "real" (read: ****** off), Greg comes off as a supercilious ******. 2) All the blondes they've met in Hollywood look like the same person. 3) Will is my hero. :laugh3:
Dang this thread went craaazaaay! And I thought I was going to be going out on a limb by stating earlier in the thread that I didn't care for Will, but guess I'm not the only one. There just is something really shady about him that doesn't sit well with me.
And the TWoP post of the day, brought to you by Elrhino:
I hate to add yet another "it was better in the old days" post, but it's relevant with this season becasuse this newfound "back to the past" vein of hiring a bunch of career (in showbiz) driven young people and placing them in Hollywood is so misguided and is so not working. While everyone in Season 1 New York was trying to start a career in in a non-conventional genres, they were CREATIVE PEOPLE looking for self expression. Andre the musician, Kevin the poet and writer, Heather B the hip hop artist (and by hip hop artist I mean socially conscious signed to ****** Down Production hip hop, not Big Booty-Big Ballin'-Big Flossin' hip hop artist). Norm the painter/artist and Becky ... whatever Becky was. That's why the cast was interesting, because they did creative, intersting things. This cast is just a bunch of vapid, pretty, shiny objects who want to be famous just for the sake of being famous. Basically they just filled the house with seven different flavors of Eric Nies. When S1 wanted to play a prank on Kevin, they wrote down different personalities and randomly drew them out of a fishbowl and played them out so well that Kevin went running out of the house because his head was about to explode. Think this cast could ever come up with something like that? When this season plays a prank, they put rocks under a pillow or steal panties. That's how much it's been dumbed down.
Let's not forget Julie the dancer (and not in the sense of what Brianna considers dancing) and when Becky wasn't trolling for guys she was a musician---a real musician! I didn't even think about the comparison of S1 to this current season like that. That, and back then during the prank, Julie just pretended to be a *****, now the girls are actually *****s (and sadly proud of it). If Hollywood tried to do a personality switch, it wouldn't work. I can't see Kim switching her personality to be smart, racially open-minded and non-screechy...not even for five seconds.
Is it just me or did the posting slow down tremendously after imposing the new rules? LOL.
I guess I sucked the fun right out of the room, lol. :wink2:
I guess I sucked the fun right out of the room, lol. :wink2:
No, there was nothing really fun about it...it was all one big loop of people sayin the same things over and over only wording it a bit differently each time...
I guess I sucked the fun right out of the room, lol. :wink2:
This is the fast food generation. Perhaps they have moved on to feed elsewhere today. I must say I enjoyed reading all about myself, courtesy of Jkauf23, as though in my advancing years I 1) may have forgotten who I am, or 2) actually gave a sh*^ about his incredibly flawed research. But, since I'm on a perpetual quest of self-discovery, I'll ask that you be lenient toward those who desire to toss interesting advice, suggestions and the occasional caustic remark in my direction, the new rules not withstanding.
Sorry if I upset any of the Memebers here, just did not want to see Bacchus or V1man disrespected.
No, there was nothing really fun about it...it was all one big loop of people sayin the same things over and over only wording it a bit differently each time...
You noticed that too?
This is the fast food generation. Perhaps they have moved on to feed elsewhere today.
That is basically what happened. There were a few forums that linked here yesterday whose members feel Will is a disgrace (for reasons that I am not going to touch on, but have nothing to do with Reva or Sarah or any of that jazz) and now those links are a few pages deep and people are not coming over in the same numbers. On a normal day there are 5-10 people that sign up, yesterday there were 75+ (with 90% coming from the same two referrers.) Basically we had an influx of singular group think that was not representative of viewers as a whole (or members here in general) and as much as I enjoyed their short stay, it is doubtful that they will remain to provide meaningful discussion on the full range of topics that we delve into here at Vevmo on a daily basis.
Sorry if I upset any of the Memebers here, just did not want to see Bacchus or V1man disrespected.
Ohh....I like your new avatar....muhuahahaha. :D *bacchus can be seen cracking open photoshop*
OK Bacchus.....make me a star, LOL
You noticed that too?
Yeah which is precisly why I sat back and just read...it was quite entertaining, but most of all the best part was all the big words.
Ohh....I like your new avatar....muhuahahaha. :D *bacchus can be seen cracking open photoshop*
Me too, great pic!
Parisa on TWoP had a good point about this new season (which I'm sure she'll bring over this way). She pretty much said that this season makes her sad because of all the drama and negativity. Like I said the other night---I should've waited another day to watch RW. Came home from yoga and it ruined by relaxed vibes! :-D
yeah i often times have to change the channel for a bit because there's soooo much unneeded drama! I can't handle it! Are there really people out there like these?
