So this might be a lil off topic.... but do Real Worlders get some kind of going out budget?? Because it doesn't seem like their jobs can possibly pay that much. And it seems like they go out almost every night, at expensive places and what not. So I figure either they get some kind of budget, or they are really breaking the bank when they get there. Orrrr maybe they get 'hooked up' by the places for the free exposure they may get on the RW... not sure, was wondering if anyone else here knew....

I wonder if Parisa and Will are reading the Internet in Mexico? (He said, throwing just a little salt in the wound)
I think they either get comped on the free liquor and stuff like that but idk for sure
But didn't we hear Joey say quite often he couldn't afford to go out and drink on certain nights? I think we even saw him pay for some of his drinks. And then Sarah said she was having guys buy her drinks and giving them to Joey...
I wasn't very impressed with this episode...my favorite part though was when Will and Dave were getting all pumped up punching things and flexing thier muscles and then Will threw something at Greg...as he was walking away(sorry but I gotta call a ***** move when I see one)...When Dave saw him throw whatever it was he got all serious faced and said "whoa" like he snapped back into reality and realized what was going on.
Exactly! Well said.
maybe they did Dave cracked up after all of that so maybe.
Yeah, that's true. You've got a point there. edit-- Dave is cool. I liked his myspace apology.
Well, I believe it was an interview of Coral's that I read that said production gave em a huge budget for booze for the challenges, but that's the challenges.... Maybe they get a budget to go out once or twice a week, but if they want to go out more than that they are on their own, not sure. Oh! And back to the actual cast. I have been thinking. I think WIll's actions upset me so much because I went into the season liking him and continued to think he was a really nice guy so that stuff just kind of threw me off about him. But as they say, everyone makes mistakes and I have made peace with the fact that the 'level headed' guy of the season did. As for Greg, I guess I was so set on him being a complete ****** that when I saw some of the good things he did it shocked me and made me want to take his side a bit more. I still am kind of pulling for the guy out in the 'real world', as I am for WIll. ;)
OK, I can't believe I am on a RR message board (not a big message poster). I have been watching since the 1st season (except london), can't seem to get enough of the drama. I am now outside the target audience age 38, but still very interested because THIS YEAR IS OFF THE CHAIN...GREAT CASTING-- A REAL MESS! The Will/Greg (reva) thing really hit a nerve. I thought Will was all good and Greg was the villian till recently. Will is DIRT DIRTY, just the way he's behaved (or edited) was super corney. He is such a side-buster how he gossips like a lil girl, ALWAYS takes the ladies side, talking **** behind the other brother's back, knocked his (greg's) girl and THEN TALKED ABOUT HIS DEAD POPS AND SOME HOMOSEXUAL STUFF, C'MON MAN? I have never been so pumped up to see a episode like I have over the last week, so much so I have been trolling around these RR sites. No matter how unpopular this may be, Greg has become my favorite cast member. I really don't like how he's been treated over being cocky and a few pranks. He is actually a funny dude and his mannerisms are hilarious. Like when he told bri in the episode before last how "Dave and Greg brought over females that they wanted to smash...which may be true, or may not be true, but why does reva need to know yada yada" and also the theatrical grandstand he gives when he goes off on Sara and boyfriend--his gestures and body language had me in stitches. I'm not saying I'd like to live with dude but it's great television. He is not gay (my opinion), some of us (african american men) are more flamoyant and animated in how we speak and carry ourselves vs. mainstream america. He does some weird stuff and is self centered but should not be enough for people to be so **** over-the-top upset. Funny to see Will's big tough guy grandstand when he knew nothing would go down...fake punches, hitting walls and trees, his lil *** strikes no fear in anyone. Sad thing is it SEEMED as though Greg was coming around and inviting his friendship.BTW he (WILL) is getting CRUSHED ONLINE and rightfully so.
Hi Greg!
Oh! And back to the actual cast. I have been thinking. Did anyone see him pull a knife on greg on RR dailies? He is such a buster, WHO DOES THAT?? Add that to the list and the cons are starting to add up...
The facts: The outpouring of hatred toward Will generally comes from an extremely vocal, fraction of the viewership. Basically, some young African American men who have bought into the idea that Will is the all too white acting, not manly enough, token Black guy (as announced by Greg.) I don't think this is representative of the audience's thoughts as a whole. The perspective: If you watched the primary elections this winter/spring you might have heard of Ron Paul (or probably not.) He didn't really win anything - except online polls. "Every" forum on the Internet said he was a genius. After each debate on CNN, ABC, MSNBC, etc - those network websites would be buzzing with how Ron Paul won the debate by a 100-1 margin. The secret hidden truth was that less then 1% of the populous was producing 99% of the material on these disparate forums. If an uniformed reader stumbled on to ABC.COM and looked at the debate comments, they would be convinced Ron Paul was the only Republican running. Also, when a poll about Ron Paul was put up anywhere, sites like Digg and Reddit (with millions of combined, left leaning readers combing the Internet) would send 100,000 people to vote for Paul. It made it look like Paul was a political demigod. If we went by the Internet alone, he would have been crowned the Republican party nominee by an unprecedented margin. Of course, that was not the reality of the situation. The truth Online polling and online forums are entirely driven by group think as designed by the minority to project a seemingly defacto majority opinion. In the "Real World" situation and the case of Ron Paul, a small percentage of the online community bang the drums loudly -close to the source- to make it sound like there is thunder, when in fact the skies are blue and the sun is shining. It is just that many of us are too lazy (or stubborn) to look outside and view things in perspective. The moral of the story: Don't believe the hype, and even worse - don't become a mouthpiece for it.
B/S. I'm gonna take a wild shot in the dark and say that you are friends with Will. People that read your replies need to take that into consideration There are a few white folks that I know feel the same way. I'm black and I don't feel he's white acting since there is no such thing as 'white acting.' Will also isn't a token black boy because the typical 'token black boy' would have actually done something to Greg instead of putting on some theatrical performance that he learned from the improv. You don't wait till the dude walks away and then throw something at him...at that he threw whatever he threw towards the ground. If he wanted to hit him he should have just hit him when he had the chance. I'm gonna leave race out of this since race plays no part in the shady character traits that Will possesses. Funny how Will walked away when Greg brought up a good point about what he did being worse than what Greg did. Since race is playing a part in these convos, my white friends felt that Will was walking away b/c he knew he was wrong.

I believe our background has something to do with how we digest information. Doesn't have to be race could be socio-economic or personal experiences, etc etc
I'm gonna take a wild shot in the dark and say that you are friends with Will. People that read your replies need to take that into consideration
I am going to take a wild shot in the dark and say that you have no idea what you are talking about most of the time. Seriously, you can let it rest. Your propaganda is of no value here (especially not with me.) Maybe you should try a less educated audience somewhere else if you want to find converts that will fall for siding with an immature panty snatching egoist. ;)
Black OR White....tempers are tempers and actions are actions...let's not make it a black or white "acting" thing....tsk....
I was trying not to make it a black or white thing since bacchus did. Bacchus said something about only a predominately black audience feeling that way which was far from the truth. Bacchus you said I have no idea what I'm talking about? Ok I'll give the part about you and Will being bff a rest and I'll just continue to discuss what I and the rest of the RW audience see on TV. I would like for you to provide a valid argument about me not knowing what I'm talking about though because I think I do and I don't know anyone on the show so I have no bias.
I believe our background has something to do with how we digest information. Doesn't have to be race could be socio-economic or personal experiences, etc etc
That is true in most circumstances and could very well be a factor in how the divide is formed in this situation. Here is a theoretical question for you: If we went back through all the posts in the Episode 6 thread and asked each of the posters that sided with Greg (if this were possible) about their race, would the makeup of his supporters look like this?

White alone: 73.9%
Black or African American alone: 12.2%
Asian alone: 4.4%
American Indian or Alaska Native alone: 0.8%
Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander alone: 0.14%
Some other race alone: 6.3%
Two or more races: 2.0%
Now what if we went through and looked at the Will supporters. How would that look? Would it be a similar breakdown? These are interesting questions, but I am not sure if we really want to answer them anyways, as that is when everyone starts getting uncomfortable. ;)

(couldn't help meself hahahaha)

Yeah I dont know either "personally" but I will say that with past experiences on this site with Greg and Will have made me like one more than the other.
Ok, What about the crazed backstabbing, 2 faced, knife wielding WANNEBE lunatic grandstanding homophobic coward? Yeah I am so over the constant (and repetitive) bickering coming from some of the newer members...it is one thing to state your opinion, it is another to attack other members directly. And as for Bacchus, well this is his site, so he is free to do as he pleases...like it or not.
Were you on here when pretyboy came on and trashed almost everyone with his long drawn out arguments? Yeah I dont know either "personally" but I will say that with past experiences on this site with Greg and Will have made me like one more than the other.
For some reason, most of his supporters like to look past his long series of divisive behavior. How hard is this to get really? His roommates hate him. BMP hates him. His teachers in high school hate him. All the students in his high school hate him (except one I guess.) His ex-associates hate him. The former Real Worlders that met him at the Awards show hate him. We have been pulling in information for 6 months about what an ******* he is, and then he comes here and totally lives up to it! What more proof do you need? How blind do you have to be to not see it? It is clear that everyone (except the one wacko friend) that has ever met the guy hates him. Not just dislike, or don't care. THEY HATE HIM. People need to get over the TV personality they are worshiping and just look at the facts.
Sooo if Will is Luke and Greg is Darth Vader, does that make Reva Yoda?
I don't think he's basing this on looks... If a combo of both looks and character, then she's gotta Darth Sidious...
go back to youtube with that mess if your not gonna act civil here
I was half joking and mirroring the previous statement from Bacchus but any of the terms I used describing Will (and his recent televised behavior)are certainly debatable at this point.
Ok I am new here so I didn't see any of that, but about the ex real worlders hating him, I'm not gonna form my opinion on what others think of him but on what I see on the television, and if you were referring to me stacy, I haven't personally attacked any of the posters on this site. I respect Bacchus for running this site but I also have an opinion and will state it.

Don't get me wrong it's not like I don't agree with some of your opinions you just seem to be so hostile at times...it wears thin after a while.
No harm no foul, although I can understand that the regular members are getting sick of the Greg/Will bickering all day. I am just making one more point and then moving on for the month. All I am saying is there is a lot more to Greg then the TV Show and most of it is not good. If you ever had a chance to talk to the guy it might help sway you to my point of view as he'd probably consider most of his supporters below him (peasants) and not give them the time of day. :D
I never said I didn't agree with how the site was run. If I'm being hostile then I'll tone it down but I'm not sure how I was being too hostile to begin with.
