No doubt that he dominated Fresh Meat with Coral. They could have easily won.
But that brings me up on another subject, a huge reason why I don't like Evan and it may be for others to is I don't like backstabbers. Coral befriended him, taught him the game, and helped him to victory numerous times. She was loyal to him and took his hernia seriously. When he was approached to eliminate them and he decided it was a good idea I just wanted to kill him.
I understand that, when I first watched G3 I had not yet seen Fresh Meat, so I didn't understand the situation completely.
But after watching the Gauntlet 3 reunion, it appeared to me that he just likes winning the game. When you're playing basketball with your friends, you can click great with a team mate but the next time you play, if you think that your team mate is gonna make you lose, you're not gonna try to give it to click with somebody new on your team, somebody that will help you win.
Honestly, what he did was rude. When has Coral really shown that she is going to quit. She tried hard on the first Gauntlet, but if a spider bit you and you can't breathe than, oh well. Coral would not have done what Eric did. They were so determined on playing a personal that they completely ignored what was truly going to be detrimental to the team. That is why I do not want Evan on the Challenge.
Another person I would like to replace would be Tyrie. He has never been entertaining and after hearing the information that V! gave I do not think he deserves to be there.
Yeah, the only thing with Tyrie that I enjoyed was him almost tearing off Davis' head back in Denver. Other than that, I don't think he's a good competitor, nor does he ever deserve to return if he truly made that whole thing up to leave G3
Yeah their fight was insane. I was eating it up.:)
What alliances from this cast do you think will be formed? There are a lot of people that dont have many friends on this season.
wow, i hadn't really thought about that before, but you're right, there are a ton of people that will endure a lonely challenge. There are a ton of new people... by new i mean people who'd be classified as rookies if it were a gauntlet challenge.
Yeah. A lot of people will be alone on this Challenge. That may play a huge factor as to who makes it far and who doesn't. The Vets if you say, are almost outnumbered by the Rookies. Usually it is the Rookies that are targeted, but this may flip-flop and the Vets could be a target.
That sounds pretty great, because the vets are obviously better competitors, so maybe it'll be fairly even.
Now I'm all sorts of hyped up for this challenge.
True. Usually the Vets play the more dominant game and the Rookies play the more intellectual game. But these Vets are actually for the most part strong and intelligent. Besides Robin. What happened to the competitive Robin that was actually good at these Challenges?
Robin will definetly be in danger in this Challenge. She has very little friends it seems besides Ryan, Johanna, and Paula. Maybe Tonya or Derrick. We may have to see the competitive side come back in her.
Exactly. Thats why I was happy when Aneesa eliminated her in The Duel. Not only did she deserve it, but it was kind of a wake up call saying even though you are pretty, it doesn't mean you mess with a girl who will chew you up and spit you out. That is why I think she flew under the radr a bit in the Gauntlet 3.
For Johanna as well, she is an amazing competitor, but how will she fair with the newer girls and the more dominant Vets?
Yeah it does.
I think a huge alliance will form with Ashli, Kelly Anne, Colie, and maybe Jenn. Jenn isn't one to betray others it seems and she is there for herself.
Tonya should try to make an alliance with Ev and Rachel because these three together may just be unstoppable.
I agree. Rachel is just extremely strong and fast at that.
This cast is so conflicting its amazing. They are all so different and some have histories with each other that make me wonder how things will turn out.
ok i have 2 questions.
1) How did Colie log onto her myspace today ( 6/9) if they left yesterday?
2) When the cast goes to these challenges do they know everyone that is going to be there or is it a surprise to them? (kind of like big brother where they have to keep it secret until they get there)

1.) I had thesame question about Colie earlier, but someone else that she knows could have easily logged into her profile for her.
2.) Thats actually a good question. They know who is going to these Challenges I believe. 90% sure but not 100%.

The answer to #1 is in the spoiler thread if I recall correctly. It was not Colie accessing her account. Most of the cast will have people logging onto their myspace and face book accounts occasionally simply to mask when they return. It is a simple thing for BMP to ask of them. At the awards bash, many were making sure BMP knew that wanted to do the next challenge and also made sure that they had everyone's current contact info for the building of alliances after the cast was selected.
As for #2, these people all talk to each other. Only Abram and Rachel managed to keep their participation quiet for a while. Paula was a late addition, replacing Brooke. With the speed of text messaging, the cast knew who was going to decline the invite before BMP knew. That was the case with Aneesa who I think was the first replacement for Brooke but declined.

Why would you think so many people would be lonely? This cast is pretty tight in many respects. As we go through the next few weeks with only a little new information, I plan on writing about the alliances you don't know about but have been in place for weeks or longer.

Wow. That is very intelligent on their part. It makes things even more suspenseful. But have they even began to film the actual competition or are they still shooting photos and doing interviews and that type of thing?
Do you happen to know how the casting process works?(PM if you would like). Aneesa dropping out is disappointing. I miss seeing her.

Ooh, very interesting. The girls to me are the wildcards with the alliances. There are some obvious ones, but there seems to be so many random cast members scattered about that you just don't know who you can place them with.
Thanks V1Man & Dart!
I wonder why no Hollywood girls are on this challenge and only 1 out of the 5 guys are.
My guess would be that most of these cast members came on the show to help their aspirations. Brianna has to promote her albm which came out on iTunes two or three dsays ago I believe. And I remember seeing an article on mm-angeny's website and it was an interview with Kimberly who said she probably wouldn't stay with these people again unless she was paid. The replacements haven't even been introduced yet so why should they even bring them into the Challenge. Greg is still bitter to this day and is probably to busy with his modeling. Sarah doesn't strike me as the type that would do a Challenge and neither does Joey. Why Will isn't on it I dont know. My guess would be that he is busy with his career as well. He is working on Parisa's music.

You should look at the sociogram of relationships that Bacchus posted a while ago. There are a couple women missing, but the connections there are real, and perhaps conservatively stated. Most new fans don't remember, for example, that pre-veronica and Tina influencing Rachel, Tonya and Rachel were friends. Johanna is close with Colie and was in Austin only two weeks ago with Kelly Anne. Johanna, Tonya and Jenn have worked together outside of MTV. Most people forget that show taping time is small compared to the time in the real world that you don't see them. People ***ume that if you dont' see two people together on TV that there is no connection. As much as people on the internet may not like Evelyn, everyone wants a good relationship with her on the challenge because she can kick your *** (including most of the guys). She gets along great with Derrick, Kenny and Abram. On another board people say Evelyn is alone. They are simply out of touch.

The challenge was to start on the 11th but I think that was pushed back to the 12th because of the departure change.
Yes, I know the casting process, but can't discuss it for contractual reasons. Sorry

Ohhh good point. That makes alot of sense. I should of that that through! & im sure Will is busy with his music stuff also. Its just weird they bring only 1 out of the 9 members as the fresh rookies to stand completely alone!

Oh. I knew that some of them knew each other outside ot t.v., but I had no clue about these girls. And I actually do remember Rachel and Tonya being friends before Veronica and Tina formed the Mean Girls with her.
Johanna was the one I was just totally confused by. I didn't know if she was friends with most of these girls considering a lot of them are newer or older.
Yeah I would probably want to get on Ev's good side as well. Besdies my personal feelings for her, I think she is one of the best female competitors ever on a Challenge.
I see. The casting process just seems so tedious.
Although I have to say they did good with this cast. I am excited to see what will come.
DAMNIT. So I take it the cameras haven't even rolled yet?
The cameras should have been there since the cast walked through customs in Panama. They should now be shooting the show opening which takes forever (remember the Gauntlet 3 and Inferno 3 openings?), with the first of acual challenge starting on the 11th or 12th.
This years taping will be of a continuous show with no days off for cast or crew which is why it can only be one month long. 1) It's less expensive, and 2) if you are doing something "survivor style" then having a down day kind of defeats the purpose of the likely miserable conditions?
Thats true. I just hope must of the cast are able to grin and bear it.
I bet that is why Brooke dropped out...look how she acted during that outward bound thing...
