So I am wondering if it was even their choice to go against Tonya together or just the voting process, or elimination process (have we established what that is yet by thw way?) and they then decided since 1 had to go home to take out the weakest one to conserve energy or something since we don't know their food situation.
Tonya is the first person voted in and is the first to go home.
I thought Dave was the first one who goes home. Is Tonya the first to go home who go voted in? Or is she the first to go home period?

The wording in all original vevmo spoilers is carefully crafted.
What you read is what you get... Now enjoy Sept 17th, since there will be something to look for in the very first episode. :)
Hmmm.. something I just thought of.
But after I thought about it more, it didn't really make sense, but I'm just going to put it out there.
So we found out that Tonya was 'eliminated by' Kenny and Abram. And is the first to go home.
But we found out earlier that Dave was the first to leave.
But we also found out that Kenny Abram had something to do with the Dan/Dave fight? So MAYBE (?) it was supposed to be Dave and Tonya vs Kenny and Abram, and they tried to set a fight up to get Dave out for sure. And then they ended up going against just Tonya.
Now it's just something I thought of quickly, I am sure that I am more tha likely wrong, but perhaps I might be on to something. If not oh well. Not a big deal, just thought I'd put that out there.

I think this is a great idea. And I don't think it isn't a possibility. It could have happened that way. My only problem is V1 said, Tonya was voted in and the first to go home. Other than that, I think you may have found something out.

 Thanks Dart.

Your welcome LTR. I think it is a great idea. But V1 did say he chooses his wording carefully. Maybe Tonya was just the first "eliminated", but Dave was the first off the Island.
This is unreal, I can't believe this, MTV treats its cast like *****, for ratings, though I love it. For once, I feel bad for Tonya, and I hope she won't be portrayed in a bad way.

I have always felt bad for Tonya. She has never had it easy on these shows. She is always around people who pick on her and who don't like her. And now it seems that it is happening again.
Int he trailer, she also said "That girl had my back when no one else did." Poor Tonya.

Maybe someone else got eliminated like that too? It seems like this is how all the elminations work. Not that I don't feel bad for her, because it really isn't fair to have to go up against two guys.
I'm a little confused...
But essentially Tonya wasn't eliminated by them as a team right? Because in the about the show on MTV.com it said that 3 people go in and one person wins. Then, the other 2 are voted on who is eliminated. But V1 says it was "2 vs 1". Didn't she still have to lose in a vote off with either Abe or Kenny? Can someone explain atleast to how much we know so far?
At the end of that about the show it said that it could change at anytime. Maybe there was a way for them to change that process a bit? That if two of the three wanted to team up they could.

But didn't V1 say that this was the first elimination. I assume the rules stated in the About the Show are the rules that the show starts with and then changes to others later.

The rules must change very soon. We know that Rachel was taken out by KellyAnne and Tonya by Abram and Kenny. So there is something missing we need to know. I guess we have to wait for the show.
In each competition there is a winner and there are also two "losers, or another way of thinking about it is that there can be two "winners" and one loser, since only one person goes home. When someone wins, they basically send two people to face their jury." The cast then decides which of the losers goes home. It is certainly in the interest of an alliance for two people who are in an alliance to dominate a third person and for two people to "win" over the third person, although only one person is technically the official "winner" because only he or she gets a key. If I'd hit you all with the three-person thing weeks ago, you would all have freaked out -- I know I did. This is like peeling an onion. The rules are very complex and I don't yet fully understand them. Think about this: If only one of the three goes home, what happens to the second person who is not voted out. Remember to think outside the box!
Confused yet... even after reading the MTV discussion about the challenge? You are not alone.

Thanks V1 for some of the insight, I mean I am still confused, but you made it somewhat easier.
I like how it is three people in battle instead of two because with two people it is less interesting, and it becomes much easier to predict a winner. With three people, an alliance may help out some of the players, or it may not.
My guess is still that the other person is Exiled or something. I mean we saw so many people standing by themselves building things, unless they are building their boats.
My only thing I am wondering about is: if you have a key can you lose it? SOmething to think about.

There are way too many things in this challenge to think about lol.

Thanks V. You cleared a lot of things up. Although, I am still confused of the loose ends of all this, but I guess I won't know those till the challenge starts. I wonder how much of the first episode will have to be dedicated to T.J. reciting the rules for everyone to get it.

I doubt it. The BMP budget isn't big enough for hundreds of takes and a thousand cue cards for idiot TJ.
I am starting to feel like these rules are going to be like that Friends episode where Joey is auditioning to host a game show. Chandler and Ross played along and it was the most complicated set of rules ever! Maybe Joey should host the show instead of TJ...

They get thrown into a volcano to satisfy the Island Gods?? :D

No kidding, I've barely started on my coffee this morning, and my head is starting to throb, lol.

And they can start with GREG even though he isn't on the challenge....though that might cause the gods to be ****** and kill them all. I haven't read anything about the rules or format and usually when TJ explains the rules I usually get the idea of the format without having to listen too much lol

Well on the trailer Johnny says something like, "If you want my key your going to have to get it from my cold, dead hands." I'm not sure of his exact words though.
It would suck if they had to automatically go back in... Maybe they get to choose one person for the next round... how awesome would that be if Kellyanne had won a round! LOL. But that seems kinda predictable.
Oh and I like the format. It combines elimination rounds (gauntlet, inferno, etc) with vote-off challenge. While its complicated in writing, I imagine it'll work itself out in the first episode and we'll all be going "Duuuuuh". :D

Someone who was there said these words to me about the rules:
"***k, it was complicated."
Of course that person's IQ could be about 12, since he was stupid enough to be talking to me...
