EV is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now they really need to work on strengthening and recruiting for their alliance. Jenn should definitely join with her and kellyanne...
I wonder what is going to happen to Collie who seems totally on the sidelines? And princess johanna who has no key?
Just another note - See Banana's class it up by not handing Ev her key? Dropping it on the sand. I dont know why TJ gets such a bad rap around here, but I heard he was legitmatley ****** at how Bannana's acted.

He was a poor sport. TJ is a professional athlete. It's nice to know that he understands sportsmanship....

With the numbers they have now it could be the 9 outsiders vs the 5 of the alliance. The "outsiders" could take over the game and stop the alliances total control. I wonder if they will or let influence, buddy-system and fear stop them... :ireful1:
I watched Ev's speech at least 5 times now and I still am in AWE!!!!!! Thank you Evelyn for doing what you knew was right. We rarely see an act like that these days. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Well.... Robin, Dan,Collie and Derrick all seem to be friendly with the "Family"..

I'm probably a leading anti-TJ person here. I respect his athletic accomplishments, but he is a terrible host. I've stood with his PR/Management reps during a reunion show taping that he participated in. They cringed when he had to read the teleprompter. TPR and cue card reading should be second nature to anyone in the hosting game. He also did and said some stupid stuff on G3 and The Duel that cast him into disfavor with me, and his reported dalliance with a cast member following Inferno 3 bothers me.
Mark Long would do a better job as would several others, but that is another topic.
Well from next week's preview .... I doubt Johnny is going in against Colie and Ryan. From the trailer with the bamboo cage, it looks like Derrick is in there as well ..... I just don't see Johnny winning anything without some help or someone taking a dive for him........
lets face it, CT was right "Bananas has got no legs, he is a weak player"
I find it interesting the Johanna does not want Dan to say anything derogatory about Robin, but she doesn't seem to mind Johnny calling any of the girls dumb******* or any number of things. Johnny is hella more offensive.
Johanna probably just likes Robin more than she likes KA or EV...
or.. Maybe Johanna did say something to Johnny.. but we just didn't see it..
If I remember correctly.. there was a point when Johanna told Kenny he went too far when calling Tonya a "retard"...

I'm very aware that TJ is a professional athlete. Not just that, but one of the best on two wheels be it on dirt or concrete.

Thats where influence and buddy system comes into play. But that's prevalent in all the challenges.
IMO, Paula is ONLY in because she was in the same season as Johnny, and cast members in most, but not all cases tend to have a strong sense of loyalty with fellow castmates. (this does not sit true with the aussie cast- Dunbar is such an ***... stop talking about your phony nutrition stuff!) Johanna is there because of Kenny. Clearly the girls are first out in the alliance. I think they're going to cast out Johanna first and then Paula. After all, the alliance is led by the type of men that love Sarah Palin- they're using her but don't actually want her to be in control. There's no way, IMO, that those boys plan on dragging Paula along with them. She sucks as a competitor. If Kenny and Johnny are both know winners... I predict they would not allow anyone else with them except.... Derrick, Dunbar, or possibly Dan. So, yeah, I think we will see some D's of some form in there cause we all know K & J don't have enough respect for women to actually risk losing because of one.
Did anyone notice that Derrick seemed a little happy about Ev taking Johnny's key?
I agree with the Family throwing Paula and Johanna under the bus, but I also see them eventually throwing Dunbar under it too for the sake of Derrick, and perhaps Ev .......
Thats where influence and buddy system comes into play. But that's prevalent in all the challenges.
It is, unfortunately, and it makes a joke of the Game Show Act language in the generic cast contract when that buddy system is being set up by day two of challenge casting.
ahhhh hahaha!
finally, an episode of the island that i actually thoroughly enjoyed. :D! evelyn was both ****** and classy, in one smart little package. her speech was perfect & the smirk on her face later that night was well deserved. if only the rest of the stragglers now would band together to take keys away from all remaining alliance members. alas, i doubt that will happen, as i suspect most of them have not even half the spine that ev displayed tonight. i still expect to see some unbridled sycophancy among the stragglers... but oh well. good show, evelyn.
and LOL at the sneak peek of dan and robin's drunken spat next week. these kids are so terribly ridiculous. i have moved far past sympathy, kicked pity aside, and can now only muster up that good old standby, 'point-and-laugh':sarcastic_hand:

That guy could put a shark to sleep...
A host's presence should accentuate a reality broadcast and add episodic continuity, not signal that it is time for a bathroom break (to avoid the snooze worthy, monotonic cue card reading.)
I really start to zone out when he goes over the prizes...and when he revs up the quitter speech I make ample use of the fast forward button, unless of course I am lulled into some sort of quasi hypnotic state (which happens from time to time.)
I am sure he is great in his off camera exploits, but not everyone is cut out to be a reality show host.
Love how Derrick escaped being outed in the alliance. It pays not to be a jerk. And did anyone else notice that Johanna looked amused by the turn of events?
Good for Evelyn for winning a key from Johnny, but I could've been spared her drama speech. Although I like her better than in the past, I just cannot bring myself to like her as much when I've also seen her act like a bully and make shitty remarks about people (and not for entertainment value either), then when the shoe is on the other foot declare it a crime. But still, making Johnny eat shit was nice to watch. I don't think the alliance is that screwed. There are still face-offs left and their alliance still seems intact.
Oh my God! Watching the train that is Robin/Dan finally wreck is going to be the best episode yet.
Mark Long would do a better job as would several others, but that is another topic.
Have they ever tossed around Mark Long/Coral Smith co-hosting Challenges? Mark did very well when he co-hosted BOTSeasons, and Coral has given some pretty **** entertaining commentary within and outside BMP.
Twice in tonight's episode CT used the phrase, "You know what time it is." What is he doing, watching Flavor of Love on his laptop all day?
HAH! You got me good. I sat there for a moment staring at my screen. "CT was there? Where? Where?"

Ev is awesome!! This was the best episode of the Island so far, and now the game is getting interesting. At first, I thought she was really going to throw Kelly Anne under the bus. But she stuck to her guns, and it was great to see everyone's reaction.
Derrick looked like he couldn't believe it. Ev has smarts and balls and I love her even more for it.
I've got newfound respect for EV tonight. I was sorely disappointed on her earlier decision to negotiate with the devils and hence reinforcing my opinion that the island was indeed full of idiots. I wouldn't have betrayed my only friend on the island and kowtowed to that ****** Johnny for any type of chance to win a portion of 75 grand. EV has showed amazing restraint when it comes to Johnny's mouthing. In the same situation, I would have blown up at the him a looong time ago.
I get the feeling that Colie is in cahoots with the alliance, but no so directly as some of the others. I recall that interview with Johanna, and didn't she say that Colie asked her to join so as to help her win?
question from the prievews who do you guys think was in the face off. It says three guys. I wonder.
TJ LAVIN IS MY HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Colie and Johanna did have a pre-show alliance based upon their personal friendship. Thus, Colie was a vote the 'alliance' could count on. The fact that we hear nothing of her in any discussion of her ranking in it stands as testimony to how strong Johanna's position is vis-a-vis Kenny, Johnny and Paula. As Colie herself said in a recent daily, she is not going to win any faceoff if she goes in.
Ah man I did enjoy this episode, honestly it's nice to see at least something not go the Alliance's way for once. Ev really impressed me honestly and now that she has a bit of power it makes things interesting. Though that hardly ends this "Mob" that has been running the Island, Johnny can still get another key in the time that is left but EV definitely has somewhat moved into a better position for now. Having a key can be a double edged sword sometimes.
I loved this episode so much!! Evelyn is ******, it is hard to stand up to all the bully's and she did it alone. I have became a great fan of her's, I love the fact that she is not high drama, and she takes these challenges seriously.
I really hope to see her keep that key just to spite Johnny and the rest of the ***** alliance!
Ev made a valid point about Dunbar not "living up to the hype" in the challenges so far. The ball challenge from last week, he got himself thrown, bounced and tossed around. There's one gruesome clip in last weeks episode of him getting punked. One highlight of a looong challenge that saw him being pushed around.
You would be thrown and tossed around two if you were up against a gorilla (Tyrie) and a pitbull (Derrick) come on now lets give him a break...and lets not forget who won the challenge
this was a great episode glad to see ev takes johnny's key! is derrick still a part of kenny/johnny's alliance?
Derrick is, for all his wonderful ability to compete and his unparalleled drive to win, hamstrung by his constant desire to stay close to whomever is in power. It's a strategy, and even perhaps a smart one. I'm not sure that it is entirely 100% honorable, however, if you are one who prefers not to separate how one plays the game from how one lives one's life. As power shifts in the game, look for Derrick to adjust his loyalty, and perhaps divide it.
You will notice that Evelyn didn't name Derrick during her speech last nigh as part of "The Alliance." I believe that was intentional on her part -- an effort to allow Dan, Robin and Derrick (an unspoken mini-alliance) to distance themselves from Johnny/Paula/Kenny/Johanna/Dunbar/Colie. She already secured Jenn's support and allegiance early in the day when outing Johnny's willingness to sacrifice Jenn for the well being of their core alliance.
