Robin tossed her around in the first duel and had an absurd advantage in the Island so far. Time for her to prove she's worth something.
Also...where is Svetlana??? I recall a post from V saying she was open to it and it seems like BMP would cast her since she won hottest female and finished 2nd in the original Duel.

First, I do not believe I said she was open to doing this particular challenge at this time.
Additionally, you may have missed Bacchus' note that our list is both incomplete and subject to change, so until the list is locked, your "where is Svetlana" question is premature.

i love svetty.....and *** why do i have to see paulas *** on another godamn challenge....its gettting ridiculous.....we finally get rid of johnny and kenny and now we have to look at her.

There is no policy. BMP and MTV do whatever they want to build an audience with the people who are available.
Just as a general statement, directed at no one, I am often amazed that some people seem to ***ume that past RW, RR and FM cast members are sitting around doing nothing, just waiting for the phone call from BMP. Sometimes they are, but in my opinion, the really interesting people BMP contacts for these challenges already have stuff going on in the lives, whether it be school or a career. You don't walk away from school just before finals (Casey and Evelyn) and you don't leave a job you have had for less than three months (Johanna). Most of names people mention most frequently fall into the category of "not available now." This is one of the reasons that veteran challenge watchers were surprised at the relative small size of the summer cast and the larger reported size of the fall cast. The two logically should have been reversed. In fairness, though, BMP originally anticipated that a challenge would have been shot last Jan (2008), but MTV moved that taping to June in Panama.

75 % of the time I can find out almost everything I need to know in about 5 hours of internet research to create my own notional cast list based on availability. I get a little frustrated when I read "X should have been cast" when "X" was never available in the first place. Sometimes I just want to scream. During those times I edit carefully what I write.

If I remember right, Nick said that Kim without Sarah equals a much better Kim. Maybe since Sarah isn't going with her she will be better.

Well since Kim will definitely be Sarahless this time around I am open to giving her a second chance and see if I like her. But I am more interested in seeing Nick out of the two Hollywoods on there.

I really hate that Kenny has been lumped in with Johnny. It makes me want to pull my hair out!!! Those two aren't a pair anymore than Derrick and Johnny are. I'm very happy that Kenny is taking this break from MTV. Im hoping Johnny never returns!!!

Sorry guess I missed that post. I don't think he will be missed on this challenge with so many others to be excited about. Ryan really doesn't improve any cast or make it worse. He is just there on the side.
So I take a weekend break from vevmo because I am out of town, and I miss this thread starting!!! I am pretty passionate about the cast, either hating or loving them.
I am interested to see how it is with Brad and Tori now that they are engaged. Planning a wedding is hard enough, but being in fishbowl competing would be really hard.
I am also pumped for Mark, Katie, and Rachel. Wonder if they invited Jenn and Rachel because of their "relationship" on the island that was cut short by Rachel's elimination?
So I am going to do a bit of

Rachel, Jenn, Tori, Paula, and Aneesa have all proven to be great competitors. They could dominate the girls side of the competition. Aneesa eliminated Paula in the first Duel and was the last person eliminated.
Brad, Mark, Evan, Ct, and Landon have all proven to be a great competitor as well. Both CT and Brad have made it to the finals of the first Duel.
Diem and CT were once a couple. Robin and Mark had a serious relationship and so do/did Robin and Dan.
Rachel and Jenn are somewhat a couple. Brad and Tori are engaged as well.
Jenn and Rachel are friends, but Jenn is friends with Brooke. Aneesa and Robin have had drama on the first Duel. Shauvon, Aneesa, Diem, and Kim are all outcasts in a sense.
If it is an opposite gender choice:
Brad would pick Tori, Katie, or Robin. It also seems as though he is friends with Aneesa.
Mark is up in the air with Robin.
Dunbar and Evan will pick Paula.
Dan may pick Robin. Depends on the speaking terms left by the outcome of the Island.
David and Tori are from the same season, along with Dan, but I don't know of the speaking terms.
Davis happens to be good friends with Brooke and Jenn.
Nick and Kim are friends from their season.
Isaac and Shauvon may be good friends as well.
Landon is somewhat alone on this one.

I never understood this Tori hatred. Diem I am not too exctied about. She is just there in a way. But maybe with this break up from CT she will be somewhat interesting. I just like how all th cast in some way is linked to one another.

One should probably expect that the "relationship" was largely editing and that Jenn is fully aware that Rachel was ready to sell her out. Don't read anything into Rachel's "Keep Me" speech since Kenny and Johnny told her earlier that day that they were not going to save her.

"Seems" being the operative word there. I thought so too for awhile, and then I realized she was sweet because a lot of people were nice to her about the whole cancer thing, but if she ever gets called out she turns into a right *****. She threw a hissyfit the ONE time she went into exile on FM and the ONE time she went into a duel. I don't actively dislike her, but as with Coral, I can't really decide one way or another about her.
Davis and CT on a challenge together again???
Ooh, and CT and Dunbar on the same challenge should be interesting, too, hah. They're too much alike.
