That was pretty hilarious though. Man I thought I was awkward and had no rhythm.
It's not on next week? hmmm I didn't stick around for the previews.
I'll admit I was laughing with the Russian soldiers. They were thinking, exactly what Dan thought they were thinking about Americans...and when they were serving the borscht I could see a "thanks ****h" smile from each soldier as they passed down the line.
The preview showed more dancing and more Dan not being able to dance. Looks like another long leg for the frat boys...
Also, one team loses all their money and passports (probably the frat boys) but the preview makes it look like it could be any of the teams.
The weird part is my DVR shows the episode as: You're Gonna Get Me Killed Education -Terence Gerchberg, Sarah Leshner. I hope it is not a recap show...
I hope they don't do a recap, since it's technically still a holiday weekend. Dang holidays screwing up my TV viewing.
I thought they gave money for each leg of the race? Or do they give a grand total and tell them how much to spend? I just know a lot of times when they read the first clue of the leg they usually say "you have 450 dollars for this leg of the race."
And I was reading vevmo when the episode started and missed the beginning- how did the frat boys lose their shoes?

They were given money (but I can not remember how much.)

They didn't go back for them like they were supposed to last leg.
TVGuide.com reports this for next Sunday:
8:00 PM You're Gonna Get Me Killed -- New
The teams compete in Moscow on the 10th leg of the race.
The following week TV Guide says is the finale with the teams traveling to Portland, OR.
I'm not sure what to think now. One thing I do know is that it really sucks to go out that way and even worse that it happened to Dallas and Toni.
Had it not been for trying to save money and taking the subway instead of a taxi like the clue instructed they would have came in third or possibly second. Rules are rules I suppose no matter the circumstance.
Bummer!
My favorites were eliminated tonight :( This was a very disappointing episode. I knew as soon as Dallas left his bag that it was over for them. I am now pulling for Nick and Star to win this. (And they probably will)

They would have had a delay in leaving Russian anyway, so it would not have mattered. It takes a least a full day to get a replacement passport from the US Embassy and then you have to deal with having no Russia visa. They are very, very fussy at the Moscow airport. You should see them go crazy when they discover you have more than one passport.
It seems that production picks and chooses when to not allow a team to get the next clue because of a violation.
Why didn't the geek team get denied the clue at the wrestling the time they took the cab? Instead they got a penalty at the end.
I think in this case production saw an opportunity to make things close being the frat boys had to do a speed bump.
This entire episode was screwy so I knew something was going on. For the first time this season they did not say when people arrived and left. That must mean something happened along the way, where they halted teams and then let them make up time. We will probably never know, but I promise you - there is a reason they did not give departure times.
I am disappointed that my favorite team got knocked out. Not sure who I am going to pull for in the end. I think *gasp* it will be frat boys, then divorcees and then Nick & Star. I was giving Nick a pass the last few weeks, but a few things he said this episode reminded me of what an uncaring person he really is...
Sadly, this season has had almost zero drama and the finishes never close. Even with tricky editing I have been able to guess the team to be eliminated with 15-20 minutes remaining in the show even without the dead give away interviews (which often sell out the losers in the first 5 minutes.)
p.s. As for the passports, I remember this happening once in the past and they held all teams for a couple days in the city they were in (this was of course unaired.)
The Amazing Race Finale is tonight!!! So what are your predictions???
Here are mine:
1. Nick and Starr
2. Ken and Tina
3. Andrew and Dan
I think your order is the way things will pan out. At least, this is probably where Vegas would have the odds.
^ same here I wanted kenny and Tina till the begining of this episode then I felt like Nick and Starr were gonna win and was right! It did keep you guessing though till the last second
I like Nick & Starr, nice to see them win. I would have preferred Ken & Tina, I especially like Tina, but Nick & Starr are a good team as well. We've seen several winners in a row that had previously been saved by non-elimination legs which for some reason annoys me, so I liked seeing such a consistently high ranking team pull thru.
That was good...definately happy with the end result, and I liked the Ken got out their wedding rings!!! Did Dan and Andrew even finish the race, or did they just get tired of waiting for them and someone brought them to the end?!
I am going to be honest, I didn't like the result. I felt that overall the characters were lacking and I was almost forced into pulling for Toni and Dallas (as it was a casting wasteland.) I usually like a couple or two, but there wasn't one I was 100% behind this time around. Terrence and Sarah? Please.
Down to the final three, I was more so pulling for a conclusion to the season than individuals...
Overall, I think the show is at the top of its class - but this season was not one of the better ones. There was little drama, no foot races and the cast members I remotely connected with fell by the wayside early in the running. There were very few of those.
The last hour was a contest between two athletes, a slow older bickering couple and two of the most lacking contestants every to complete the course (I went to ASU and lets be fair, they are not the prototypical frat boys they think they are, lol.)
The result was as predicted. It played out as it should. The best team remaining won. Not much I can add beyond I look forward season 14 and hope it is unfolding in a more dramatic fashion than what season 13 offered us.
Perhaps I wasn't paying attention, but I had no idea that Star had been a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader for three years.
I don't think it was mentioned by CBS

Agreed. I spent a couple semesters at ASU, and they are not like a single frat guy I met there. They really aren't like any guy I really saw on campus at all...

That would be because they were locked inside "geekville" playing video games.
