I am so shocked brittini was in only 1 duel.. I wonder who is saving her all the time?
Probably Landon and MJ. They seem to be the outcast and i'd assume she would be an outcast since she's new. So they probably would just stick together.
After thinking about Jenn going home, I think Tori is the best guess at who done it When it comes to Derek, I dont even care about who, more that I care about How. With every guy left the remaining duels should be awesome and unpredictable(to me atleast). I just cant wait to see it! I am hoping to see some blood sweat and tears. I dont think any of these guys left are going to disapoint us in the duels. I did have a serious sigh of relief when I read Dereks name, just because it was not Brad!! I dont think there is going to be any shock factor for me on anymore eliminations to come. Every player left has a lot of potential in their own ways---well I guess that excludes Brittini because I have not seen her preform yet. I must admidt I have a feeling she is winning immunity often, like Jodi had in Duel 1. I say this because she is new and I would think that she would be in the duel more often.
davis went home really early too.

I guess I would not mind if any of the guys won, with the exception of Evan. For the girls, I'm rooting for Brittini.
There is alot of stiff competition so maybe Evan would either get sent home or lose at the end...either way I feel we'll see alot of him this challenge. Landon definitely is someone I'd want to win but yeah any...well almost any guy would be okay with me. As for the girls...I am indifferent since Katie left lol
My pick for the win...... Landon and Tori (hoping for diem)
The crazy thing is I used to love Evan until G3 lol.
Evan quickly killed whatever like I had for him after FM but at first I actually like him. Still Evan does tends to stay a while during these challenges so I have to give him credit.
I'd be okay with Tori & Landon.
Actually Tori winning doesn't bother me like it would have right after RR:VR but my opinion has changed with her and other than Landon I'd like to see Brad win...he came so close in the last one so I want to see him pull it out.
How cute would a Tori & Brad win be?
lol I think BMP would love that! They could do a Brad and Tori wedding on MTV... Like trista and Ryan
lol I think BMP would love that! They could do a Brad and Tori wedding on MTV... Like trista and Ryan
That'd really be the best thing ever. It's so funny how much Brad has changed from the "Congratulations, you're a meathead, son" days! I want Brad to winnnnn especially because he hasn't yet. A lot of the guys still left have at least won one.
I would love to see Brad win, but I just dont see it happening with the guys left :( at least Tori will bring home the money!!!!!!!! hahaha
it could happen! If strong guys take each other out, then I think brad has a great chance against MJ and Mark(nervous about landon and evan). But we never know what duel he could get! im still positive for brad on the most part
Brad would be my best friend forever if he sent Evan packing.
Brad would be my best friend forever if he sent Evan packing.
The probability is higher that Brad and Evan will be friends... Sorry
How cute would a Tori & Brad win be?
Have to admit that would be pretty cool and we all know since they are engaged that MTV will focus on that aspect a little more as the challenge goes on. Brad definitely deserves the money I feel.
GW, this is not about you. It's a rant that has been building for some time. I've always felt that the last person standing deserved the money, otherwise why bother to play the game? If Evan, whom I personally loathe, wins the challenge on the men's side, I'll congratulate him. I'll hate having to do so, but it seems to me that is the price of admission. I'd be a much happier person if a friend of mine won this, but if he loses I won't ever say that he deserved to win. It reminds me of people who say person X should win Survivor or some other contest because he or she comes from a poor background and can do something good with the money, while his or her opponent is stinking rich and will likely put the money up his or her nose. It's just absurd. The winner, if all the rules or the game were followed, deserved to win, otherwise the game should only be played by those equally sick, lame and/or disenfranchised. [End of rant]
I've always felt that the last person standing deserved the money, otherwise why bother to play the game.
As long as it is not Evan then I am fine....I guess what I'm saying is I wouldn't mind Brad winning or Landon for that matter. But Evan....well anyway :P
Ok so Jenn and Derek are gone. Does anyone know who beat these players? My guess is that Brittini beat Jenn, and that Landon or Evan beat Derek. Another speculation is that Brittini chose Jenn and Evan chose Derek. I think that Britini would've chose Jenn seeing her as the weakest link for the women. Also, I think that Evan would've chose Derek based on size difference. I realize that Brad is smaller than Derek, but V1 hinted that Brad and Evan are more likely to be friends/allies. Obviously, this all opinion and speculation.

I'm sort of leaning towards Rachel or Aneesa having taken a few of the last eliminated girls out.

I'm sort of leaning towards Rachel or Aneesa having taken a few of the last eliminated girls out.
I don't believe Rachel has even seen the Duel yet because due to a combination of winning missions, her alliance, and her hype. Surely if she went in, I seriously doubt she'd pick Jenn as an opponent or vice versa. I don't think that Aneesa would pick Jenn over someone like Diem or Rachel if it came down to it. I could see Tori being the one that picked Jenn to a duel that is if V1man's theory of partnership holds .... Again, no offense to Diem ......but she has a certain .....ummmm .... trepidation or anxiety when she is in elimination rounds, and doesn't perform well .......
OK, to help things along -- they do have "partners" that were chosen at the beginning. Mark/Rachel, Landon/Brittini are two of the pairings. You have no way of knowing at this point how or why partnerships are as they are, so trying to read something into it that may or may not be there could be a great waste of brain cells. You never know.

Granted, I made it seem like they were also more than partners but the fact still remains! Haha. Anyways, this is interesting that they have partners. Mark and Rachel? Wow that seems to be a powerhouse.

I realize I also run the risk of being joke fodder ..... but here goes (1.) From a "entertainment" standpoint overall, are the elimination rounds better or worse than Duel I? (2.) Can teams change (i.e.) if a team member's partner is eliminated in a Duel or is that person left to fend for his/herself? (3.) How many different duels are they are they determined similar to Duel I? If you are not willing to answer this question .... then at least give us your opinion on how the duels are selected. (4.) If CT was still on this challenge ..... are the duels clear cut to where he could have avoided a DQ? Better yet, how do you think Beth would have done if she was on this challenge and in similar shape to Duel I? I asked and tried to be careful as not to ask for too much?

[End of rant]
I get what you are saying and I totally respect the way you view it...but for me it's kind of different. We kind of came to know a lot of these guys as people before competitors. I like Brad from back in San Diego. I think Landon's a good dude. Mark is annoying sometimes, but just the fact that he's from so far back makes me want to root for him. For me, at least right now, it kind of has a lot to do with personality+how they are as a competitor. I think Evan's a shady jerk, so I won't congratulate him or be happy if he wins. I may infact call it "luck". But if Brad wins this shizzzz I think I will deem him the most deserving winner of all time. It's not fair of me. I acknowledge it, but this show in it's own twisted way made me develop personal opinions on these people and I use them to judge whether I like the winners or not. And whether I feel they are deserving or not. Basically, I'm acknowledging I'm being completely unfair and ridiculous, but I don't care to change my opinion.
Even though I don't really like Evan, I'd have to say he's my pick behind Landon to win out of the guys that are left.

[End of rant]
In all honesty I have alot of respect for you V1 and your opinion on matters so I am sorry if whatever I said offended you in any way. And yes I know it isn't about me...it's about all these competitors fighting through for over a month for that grand prize at the end. If Evan makes it and wins then good for him...he deserves credit for getting that far and beating stiff competition. Sure I'd rather it be Brad or Landon but that is personal opinion and nothing more. I never said Brad deserves the money the most nor did I say that that every other guy didn't. Wherever the cards fall is where the cards fall.
