Do all the other cast members get along with CT?
Do they all "win" the challenge the same, or are you considering the person who gets the $15,000 prize a "winner" as well as the person who gets the $100K? Just want to make sure I understand what you're saying.
I would consider the 6 people who win to be winners. I mean they are walking a way with a good amount of money.
I would consider the 6 people who win to be winners. I mean they are walking a way with a good amoutn of money.
So would I. Third place money is about double the appearance fee the veterans will be receiving.
Although I have liked CT in the past, and still don't particularly hate him, he has gotten worse with each challenge he has done. And he got so bad. Even if he is a little entertaining at some times, and is very strong, if he will never be on the show again, I think we need to get over it and let him go. He isn't a staple character like Coral, Beth, etc. have been. He is bad as the newer people/ fresh meat. This is all by opinion of course, but I think it's good he is not allowed to show up anymore. He did something stupid in I3 and hit someone, I thought I might like him in G3 so I gave him another chance, and he was an idiot who was a large reason to why his team lost by letting Eric stay, and still I thought it was going be great to see him on the Duel 2, but I think now, he isn't worth getting my hopes up for. Also, I think it's really cool that they chose to have 6 finalists this time around.
So would I. Third place money is about double the appearance fee the veterans will be receiving.
My only problem with this is I will not feel like there is a loser, if there are only three finalists. If only three people go into the finals, to me it'll feel like a race for the three best positions.
My only problem with this is I will not feel like there is a loser, if there are only three finalists. If only three people go into the finals, to me it'll feel like a race for the three best positions.
Imagine how it felt to have been there a month only to be one of the final two who lost yesterday. To me, that is loser with a capitol "L." It had to be a painful experience for two people to have come so far only to be left out...
Imagine how it felt to have been there a month only to be one of the final two who lost yesterday. To me, that is loser with a capitol "L." It had to be a painful experience for two people to have come so far only to be left out...
Wait, I thought the final was this Saturday not yesterday? Or am I reading things wrong? But for me those other two people who don't get first place still walk away with a nice chunk of money. Thats why it doesn't feel so bad to me.
I would consider the 6 people who win to be winners. I mean they are walking a way with a good amount of money.
I guess the question is, if Brad makes it to the finals and comes in 2nd or 3rd, will he consider it the challenge win he has been wanting for so long?
So would I. Third place money is about double the appearance fee the veterans will be receiving.
So do cast members get different appearance fees based on seniority? Or on how much BMP wants them? I think Aneesa is a tricky player and might take a player thought to be stronger out in the duel purely by chance, because she's experienced and solid and a bit larger than some of the other women. I'm thinking that the "love" in V1Man's description of the epic last week might suggest that either Brad or Tori is heading home before the finals. I hope not, but...that would certainly put a (tragic) love episode in the cards. I think there would be an awful lot of crying on her part, regardless of which one of them lost.
The difference is that Adam called a highly experienced cast member who suggested immediate representation within a matter of minutes of the event and I'm not aware that Davis did anything, considering he was in South Africa at the time.
Maybe Beth? I think a lot of these people would make much better decisions about life in general if they consulted Beth first. At any rate, I absolutely think the cast should take matters into their own hands if they get involved in a physical altercation on set with a repeat offender, because BMP's "hands off" clause is clearly a joke. If you hit someone, you sometimes have to go home for the duration of one show, and can then feel free to come back whenever you like. It seems like maybe a matter of BMP weighing the drama and subsequent ratings of physical fights with liability issues, and if you don't throw the liability at them, they'll come out on the other end. Edited to add:
Wait, I thought the final was this Saturday not yesterday? Or am I reading things wrong? But for me those other two people who don't get first place still walk away with a nice chunk of money. Thats why it doesn't feel so bad to me.
Maybe V1Man was referring to the two people who were eliminated right before the finals? Those people won't get a good chunk of money, unless they still have a fiancee in the game.

Sure it is some money, but never the satisfaction that he has made it all the way and beaten everybody else. Aneesa to me had a good mind set going into Duels and that is what saves her compared to other girls. At this point I think she could easily take Diem and Brittni, and maybe even Tori or Rachel in some cases. She is underestimated to me. Brad or Tori being sent home could be the tragedy that has been described. It certainly would be sad for many to see one or the other go home. I actually think it would be great motviation for the other to win. Maybe he was referring to those two. In that case, I would feel terrible about what happened, knowing I was almost there, rather than making it and not being able to beat the other person.
Wait, I thought the final was this Saturday not yesterday? Or am I reading things wrong? But for me those other two people who don't get first place still walk away with a nice chunk of money. Thats why it doesn't feel so bad to me.
Yes you are reading it wrong. First, I was talking about the man and woman who lost the very last duel earlier this week. The final mission was today.
Yes you are reading it wrong. First, I was talking about the man and woman who lost the very last duel earlier this week. The final mission was today.
Sorry for the misread, I didn't understand it. But the last two people to lose would be devastated, or at least I would. So if there was the last Duel eariler this week, would that be referring to Jenn and Derek, or two separate people? The final was today? How interesting. I can't wait for April to come.
I can't wait for April either! This show is definitely worth waiting for!
So if there was the last Duel eariler this week, would that be referring to Jenn and Derek, or two separate people?
When Jenn and Derek left, there were still ten people that were apparently narrowed to six. So another four people must have gone home before the final.
When Jenn and Derek left, there were still ten people that were apparently narrowed to six. So another four people must have gone home before the final.
So two on Tuesday and two on Wednesday then. Unless, the remaining five all were in the Finals.

Not Jenn or Derek because he said he was not giving us any more spoilers, correct me if am wrong?
When Jenn and Derek left, there were still ten people that were apparently narrowed to six. I only think one pair went home, and we won't know until April unless its leaked. Am I way off here V1?

But technically, we know of 5 "teams" since there are ten people we know of that were left. With there being 6 winners overall, does it mean that more people went home or did two people walk away empty-handed in the finale is what I am trying to say/figure out.
I think your right...
Yeah, I am tempted to give up. My head is hurting. I am not confused, just wondering what seems more likely. But thinking that way get me nowhere. Now what option did you agree with me on? V1, I would assume the wrap party was today, considering that they are usually after the finale. Just a hunch.

I was pairing up the guys and girls and I kept thinking who is the other guy.. IDK how MJ slipped by me. I seriously hope this is good. I couldn't take it if they stopped the challenges all together :(

I couldn't take it if they stopped the challenges all together :(
I hope this is good too. I am just reading about it sounds amazing, and should be able to do great, considering they decide to do something about promotion rather than what happened with The Island. I would be very sad if ti stopped. I still don't see why they don't realese them all on DVD.... I think I figured out what goes down. I went and reread what V1 wrote in the Spoiler thread, and I believe I know what happens.
V1 said in the cast return thread that "There are three people in the finals" so it doesn't seem like there might be 1 or 2 extraneous people of each gender who will compete in the finals but not win money
V1 said in the cast return thread that "There are three people in the finals" so it doesn't seem like there might be 1 or 2 extraneous people of each gender who will compete in the finals but not win money
Exactly. I went back and read, and figured, nobody else was in the Finals. Just the three people who belonged there. I was reading way too much into it.

LOL V1 I agree!
No because there are 3 sets of winners. 3 females and 3 males win. Kind of like fresh meat. I only think one pair went home, and we won't know until April unless its leaked.
I understand that. Two sets of three equal six people, total. When Derek and Jenn left, MJ, Evan, Brad, Landon, Mark, Aneesa, Brittini, Diem, Tori, and Rachel were still there. That is ten people. So if only six people went to the final, four of those remaining ten went home, not two. I'm not speculating, just doing math. The only way that only one more pair could have gone home after Derek and Jenn is if eight people were in the final.
Yes you are reading it wrong. First, I was talking about the man and woman who lost the very last duel earlier this week.
