Watch Fly Kicks make Finals to make sure Beat Freaks win.
Watch Fly Kicks make Finals to make sure Beat Freaks win.
Yeah I won't be surprised if that happened.
Yeah t this point, it seems like the Beat Freaks are going to win, but Quest Crew seems to be close behind. I would be surprised if the Fly Khicks made a turn around and made it to the Finals, but for some reason the judges love them.
Just like the two previous seasons. My favorite crew always ended up 3rd place, and my favorite this season is Beat Freaks, and I think that the judges would pick them over Quest.
Yeah I won't be surprised if that happened.
Same.
Tonight's episode is going to be hot! The Jabbawockeez, Kabba Modern and SuperCrew are performing.
Tonight's episode is going to be hot! The Jabbawockeez, Kabba Modern and SuperCrew are performing.
I saw this too, I really wanted Fanny Pack to be there also!
I thought I was the only one that did not like the fact that fanny pak was not going to be on tonight's show, they should of have them than have SuperCrew.
Nice! I wish they could've gotten FannyPack in on that action.
I was about to say that too. But yeah Tonight's episode should be awesome.
I like how MTV had everybody fooled and made us think the Jabbas, Kabbas, and Super Crew were going to perform. However, this was one of my favorite episodes. Fly Khicks did not stand a chance, but they did well though.
Crew Quest I believe will win. Beat Freaks first performance was better then the second one. it just lacked power. I thought the show was fun, but really thought that the previous ABDC contestants would be in it more...then from what I saw.
Beat Freaks weren't all that great tonight. Quest Crew on the other hand were AMAZING. Good riddance to fly Khicks...If only Strikers All-Stars didn't mess up last week. But I like this Final 2 though these 2 crews are MUCH MUCH better than last season's top 2.

I just watched this episode and a few others with one of my friends (I admit, I haven't watched this season at all) and I was AMAZED by Quest tonight. I think it was the first time I actually had to rewind a few times to see what the eff they were doing. They definitely got the right teams in there...I mean, it was hard enough to follow up that performance, but Fly Khicks just seemed flat. That would have been a great performance in week 2 or 3... I did see the levitating ball performance everyone was talking about a few weeks ago...and DAMN! That was SICK! I'd be happy with either of these teams winning. In the previous episodes I saw, Beat Freakz had some great stuff, but I was in awe with Quest's performance tonight. I'll probably have dreams about it tonight...hahaha.

Quest definitely won, they came back and just blew everyone out of the water made the other two teams look like amateurs. Funnily enough, even though I've been pulling for beat freaks, had they been in the bottom two I might have sent them home because I actually thought that Fly Kicks outpeformed them this week. But for overall performances throughout the competiton they definitely got it right this year.
I was disappointed by Beat Freaks last night...Quest Crew freaking KILLED it in both of thier performances. I have been routing for Beat Freaks since day 1 but I loved Quest crew to...it was a toss up some weeks for my fav, but when Beat Freak's came out last night with such blah performances I was very put off...it is almost like they thought they had it in the bag so there was no need to put forth too much effort.

They had "good moments", as JC and Lil Mama like to say, but their previous performances were much better. Quest Crew was unreal! Some of the moves they do seem impossible..lol. They're like a mixture of Kabba Modern and Super Crew; a superb combination.

I'm a Beat Freaks fan through and through. However, Quest Crew rocked it last night. This is going to be a close one.
I wouldn't mind either team winning, I have been rooting for these two the whole time (though I did have a fascination with Dynamic Edition). I am rooting for Beat Freakz to take it though, that would be ideal for me. I thought last night Fly Khicks were a lot better than they have been.
I really wanted to see the Beat Freaks win, I was disappointed with Quest crew! I think beat freaks held it down the whole time and were never in the bottom 2.

I was all for Beat Freaks until they dropped the ball down the grand canyon last week.
Either way, I would've been happy with either crew winning. I am just happy this season had two finalist(crews) that were really good! Beat Freaks are probably the best girl hip-hop dance crew ever. Quest crew definitely put on a great performance last show, which is most likely the reason they won.

As someone that hadn't watched religiously, watching that one episode alone, I would've voted for Quest Crew. Beat Freaks was doing great until then!

I guess I was just a bit partial to the girls, and they were amazing with the isolations(?)
I really liked both crews both personality and performance wise. What bothers me is that I think Quest came into the competition thinking they had it in the bag, so they didn't bring their A game every week whereas I believe that, until last week, Beat Freaks did. Quest Crew only brought it hard the first performance and then the performances after Shane told them Beat Freaks were handing them their a**es. For overall performances, consistency, heart and intensity I think Beat Freaks should've won. But if we are going off of the final week performances and technical superiority than I have to, begrudgingly, give it to Quest. I really wish Beat Freaks had gone all out on their final performances before voting though.
I know no one has posted in this thread since the season ended 3 months ago but I didn't know that Vevmo had an ABDC thread. I personally am disappointed in Quest winning. Both Beat Freaks and Quest were very good crews and they both deserve the win over any of the other crews that were there, but Beat Freaks brought new stuff. For one, they were girls doing what the guys did (headspins, flares, windmills, suicide flips, etc.) 2nd, Quest pulled the same moves each time, D-trix' air tracks, and then air tracks on his elbows, and Steve's flip kicks. I do have to admit that Quests' decathlon performance was amazing, very very original, but that was their one outsanding performance. Their performances before the decathlon were pretty mediocore yet people are saying they're better then Jabbawockeez, the crew that started the craze for america's best dance crew, and Super Crew who are full of award winning, competition winning, breakers, who even has Ronnieboy, the acclaimed number one bboy in the world, and Kaba Modern who are like the technicians of isolations, tutting, and technicality. I know I probably come off as a blind beat freaks fan, but in all honesty, Beat Freaks stuck to the traditional choreography rather then what everyone is so drunk off of. Jabba won with a lot of regular dancing with a little breaking sprinkled in there, Super Crew took it to ALL breaking with a little bit of dancing, and Beat Freaks took it back to where Jabba had it, which I think is where it should stay, yet Quest won because just loved the flips and stuff. Don't get me wrong, that stuff is cool, and it is hard and is choreography, but no air track or halos from D-trix, or flips from Steve, or holla backs from Victor, will top the magic ball performance Beat Freaks did. That performance was the epitome of perfection from this season. I know it seems like I have a lot of animosty towards Quest, but I think it's more at the fans who have been saying "Oh, Quest would kick Jabba's a** and even though I loved Jabba, now that I like Quest, I think Jabba sucks." Seriously, come on guys.
I believe this was the best performance ever done on that stage!
ITA, I liked both crews but I still to this day thing Beat Freaks decerved the win.
The cool thing is that Beat Freaks are getting more publicity from this. Plus they are more then just a crew. They do movies, tours with artists, etc. Quest is getting a lot of performances here and there but they're no where near Jabba, Super Crew, Kaba, Beat Freaks in popularity. They can't even touch Jabba, they've blown up. When I saw Jabba on tour on the abdc tour they were flawless but I've seen videos of them now, and although they don't do the explosive breakdance stuff, they're dancing and choreography has gotten a lot better.

Pretty nice to be featured with Michael Jordan I'd say:)
