I'm new, hello everyone. I lurk on this forum a lot. I have a question, which of these people (one male and one female) leave first?
Girls: Rachel, Tori, Diem, Aneessa or Brittini.
Guys: Brad, Mark, Evan Starkman, Landon, M.J.

If you mean first to leave just among those named, it is Diem and MJ, about 8 weeks from now.

Finally decided to register here and I have a big question
Does Brad make it to the finals or is he eliminated right before the end? It's been bugging me since the spoilers with the last 5 guys and girls came out.

I just hope that everyone of the 10 you named had to go in the duel. Of the 10, I am unsure about only 2 people whether or not they ever had to go in ...... (Mark and Rachel). You see Brad vs Landon at some point (looks like the last male duel), also you see clips of Brittani, Aneesa, Evan, and MJ in a duel. I didn't see anything obvious with Diem, Tori, Rachel, or Mark being in a duel. Just curious.

You just have to remember that everything available before the season starts is just there for marketing purposes. If they could get away with a video suggesting half the cast died in a tragic accident, they would put it out there as viral video. They are probably not immune to the fact that last time we learned way too much detail from the trailer for "The Island" and tried to be more creative this time.
MTV just posted a new video on their Duel 2 page, under web exclusives. It is called the making of the main title. It shows them making the opening sequence for this challenge. There is nothing spoilerish but it is an interesting thing to watch.

I saw it. Battle of Sexes intro is still my favorite, with the first gauntlet intro following close behind.

Also Ruthie is in the OP because she is a competitor. I don't think this opening is the official one as TJ is credited pretty early.
Also, BOTSexes and Gauntlet 2 are my favorite openings.
At the end of the first episode, during the "coming up on the duel" thing, does anybody know why Landon said to Evan "I'm not afraid of your whole power trip"...? Whether it was him saying to Evan or if he was telling him he said that to someone else?

Over the course of the next couple of weeks, Evan does go on a power trip just like on G3. He and Paula act like they own the house and the game. That will come to an end soon enough for Paula and then Rachel takes on that role. Landon just wasn't having any of it being an outsider on Evan's pre-show private alliance with Mark and Brad that should raise some questions in many quarters.

But didn't Evan say that Landon was a part of his alliance? I'm sure there is more for us to see, it's cool that someone is standing to Evan. No one has done that before because his alliance seems to always be the one that is winning.

Evan's only true alliance is with Mark and Brad, absolutely everything else is window dressing around those three. He will say and do many things during Duel II, but it all will be motivated toward ensuring the success of that alliance. It becomes the source of much drama and controversy internal to the cast. What I don't know is if much of it will be shown, since production may not have fully realized the "why" behind what they were seeing.
when nick was talking about the duel arena and what it looks like, they showed some clips of duels again. they showed mj vs someone in that pushing duel, another elevator duel, brittini vs brooke in back off, aneesa vs shauvon in back off, katie vs a girl in a light blue shirt, which might be brittini, in the pushing duel, and evan in that puzzle duel where u are harnassed into something and must pull

Interesting...I guess it makes sense to align yourself with the people you perceive to be strongest, so you don't wind up in the Duel with them. But if it works, you've created some stiff competition for yourself in the finals.
I wonder if the alliance between these three was related to Tori's discomfort with Brad's choice of alliances, as V1Man hinted a long while back.
