Today's dailies = Horrible. Shauvon, Nick, Robin, Ryan, Davis, and Brooke all share how much the "loved" New Zealand. Does that mean we get to look forward to Paula's last minute confessional too? lol
Well it was nice to see some of them... well, Nick again. Maybe since next week is the finale they're trying to keep things to be more of a surprise.
Shauvon thinks she made friends for life? I got the impression that no one liked her!
I know, right? I thought I remember hearing Paula saying something like "Stop sleeping with people's ex boyfriends" or something to that extent, so the fact that she mentions Paula in her "Friends for Life" list is highly comical!
Looks like MJ and Lando think Tori is scared as well.
Well, they would know, being such astute observers of the human condition and all. ;) I think the "Duel Dish" is more confusing than it is clarifying at this point. I'm not entirely sure why we have cast members who were not present for the events in question discussing them, since everything at this point is either opinion or hearsay. Paula presented a slightly different picture of what happened with Tori and Brad and the ring (namely that he didn't give it back to her) than we got in the episode, but I have no idea how accurate that might be, especially since Paula seemed unsure of her own information. It's starting to seem like the Duel Dish is making up for the loss of Blair's aftershow in terms of an outlet for spreading rumors about fellow cast members, correct or not.

The sad thing is that she often confuses her own fiction with the actually truth.
Thanks for the clarification, V1Man. I was certainly...suspicious. Honestly, those clips seem more like the result of a bunch of bored people reporting the results of a giant game of telephone than anything else. I wonder why they even bother with it.
Brooke said that Paula was valedictorian of her college class....something tells me I know all I need to know about the validity of what is said on Duel Dish
LOL @ Brooke I wouldn't believe what comes out of the mouth of someone who dosent know how to put on a simple helmet lol.

No, I heard that about Paula as well.
IMO, Paula is very intelligent. She's just rather annoying. Really annoying. Dumb =/= annoying.
Shauvon thinks she made friends for life? I got the impression that no one liked her!
LOL same here. She is a *****!
Wait, you think she's intelligent? What is your proof?
Well OPD you could just look at her game play for her smarts LOL..... NOT!! ;)
Brooke said that Paula was valedictorian of her college class....something tells me I know all I need to know about the validity of what is said on Duel Dish
Not sure if Paula was valedictorian of her class, but she did graduate with a degree in marketing. So she has some intelligence in some areas. However, she is dellusional, crazy, and promiscuous at times.

Sad to say, but saying you have a degree doesn't mean shit anymore. That's why so many people are going to graduate school on top of their undergraduate degree.
"She graduated from Quinnipiac with a bachelor's degree in business and received the Alumni Association Academic Achievement Award for earning the highest grade point average among graduates in the School of Business." There have been quite a few people on the real world/challenges/etc who are smarter than they appear. I think sometimes smart girls or people in general don't always make the best decisions-Paula, Colie, Parisa etc.

Paula looked really pretty back in the day....what happened? She looked so natural, and now her chest is too big and her hair is gross.

That's...not good. I would hardly consider Paula to be intelligent, but then again there are those who have book smarts and those who have street smarts. It just seems as though she is slacking in both.
I know people who have graduated from Quinnipac. It's not the best school, but it still takes work to earn your degree. If Paula was the top of her school class, then it took some intelligence and effort on her part. I think it's one thing to trash Paula, but don't trash the school. Paula's problem isn't her IQ, IMO, it's her self-esteem.
Paula's problem isn't her IQ, IMO, it's her self-esteem.
Agreed.
We're off track here. The point I was making is that in the dailies, Paula is just flat wrong. She will say whatever she needs to for camera time... and when MTV pays her for stuff exactly like this. She would never pretend it to be true, but it becomes truth for her. To her, it simply is entertainment, and this entertainment is at the expense of others which angers me.

I mean look at Colie she graduated with a BA in communications from Tulane university, which is a Tier 1 school. However, watching her on her seasons and all the challenges it made you wonder. Molds a 2.95 is a B- borderline a B GPA. A 2.95 isn't good, but it isn't bad either. Its kinda of middle of the road. Although the average GPA could be better. While that may be the average GPA for incoming freshmen it dosen't mean they didn't have freshman's with 3.4 GPAs going there either. A=4.0 A=3.7 B+=3.3 B=3.0 B- =2.7 C+=2.3 C= 2.0 C-=1.7

I concur getting you BA degree takes work.
Anyways, back on topic the dailies are interesting and help give a good indication of what's going to happen on the show.
Today they have interviews that are like interviews with individual cast members, interesting.
The Dailies are the cast speaking after they were eliminated.

Did anyone see the daily clip after Diems Duel? Evan picks up Brad, and starts running with him and everyone is happy. Diem's all "Can't you wait until you get to the top of the hill to celebrate?" Sorry, Diem, but that was hilarious.
Just a follow-up to the whole Paula mess--in the "Emotional Goodbye" daily, you can see Brad hand Tori the ring after her duel (presumably he was holding it for her while she competed).

After she supposedly gave it back to him.

I personally prefer her over the 3 girls that were in the final and I'm probably the only person who feels that way. I'd feel a bit angry too if I just lost and people were bouncing around in front of me.
