Awsome Weslaco! I say instead of making a "V" like a peace sign you make it with your middle finger and your ring finger...set us apart from the peace throwers, LOL.
So I'm wondering if anyone has been to a reunion show before. I dont exactly know what to expect. What is the audience size like? Is there any cast interaction with the audience? How long does it usually tape for? Anything would be greatly appreciated! I need to know what I'm getting myself into!!!
I've been to almost more than I can count, but not as a member of the audience.
You can expect lots of waiting, both outside and inside. Since I'm not going to be in NY for this one, I've not actually asked any of the cast if it is in the usual place at 1515 Broadway, but will ***ume it it.
Call time for the cast us is usually 10:30 which means they will not show until 11 - 11:30. The audience line forms at what ever time is in your email/ticket. There will be an Onset Productions person(s) there to check you in and determine if you represent a danger to anyone (seriously). Some have been know to be turned away for being obviously drunk/high/weird beyond belief. You will be led inside through security (a tedious process) and then into the long hallway outside the old TRL studio. If you are at the front of this line, you can see down an adjoining hallway to the door of the Green Room when the cast will gather/eat lunch/get wasted (ala Kelly Anne/The Island Reunion). The makeup and dressing rooms are along this long hallway leading to the Green Room. You will see the cast here, and the nice ones will come out to say "hi" to those of you standing in line. This is a good place to make your "vevmo" self know to them. I will be encouraging some of the cast to specifically come out to say hello in this area.
You will finally be allowed inside the studio and will be seated in whatever arrangement the set designer has put in place. I guarantee if they use any of the benches from previous shows, you will be leaving with a sore *** in a few hours. The cast will not yet be in place. Most will enter through the same studio door you used, which should be over your right shoulder. Some will stop to chat before going on stage. They will want to know where their 'friends' are during taping. Don't be surprised if you feel one or more of the cast staring at you, hoping for a smile or head nod after they have said something (give them a "V.") Hey, they're human too. They want to know they're connecting to the audience.
I've not given you a start or end time for taping because it is just too fluid an environment. There is always a plan and that plan rarely ever is followed as to timing. By 1 PM tape may be rolling. It may still be rolling at 5:30 PM. I think we left the building at 6 PM following the Brooklyn taping.
Some hosts interact with the audience. Some don't. It depends if they like people and have ever watched the show. The Brooklyn Reunion host talked as much to the audience as she did to the cast on set. She actually watched the show and made up her own questions. She occasionally asked the audience for their opinion. (I mention this because it is rare.) If you are voluntarily vocal without anyone from production or on stage encouraging you, someone may ask you to be quiet, or at the first opportunity two really big security guys will be asking you to take a walk with them... Bye...
Don't be surprised if they stop in the middle of some answer and start the question again. They may say "tape problem," but what they probably mean is that the live camera was on someone who was not talking, or that their answer sucked... Redoing the question gives the cast member a chance to look less the village idiot in his/her answer.
There will be breaks in the taping. The cast will escape to the bathroom; you can too. Early in the show, your departures to the restroom are very managed. By the end of the day, almost no one cares. Just don't get in production's way. They are good at walking on top of people. People do leave early, too, especially during the long sessions. No worries, they will just move the audience forward and remove a back bench. On camera, the audience will always look filled.
For this show only, check occasionally over your left shoulder. There may be a few other RW/RR cast members standing behind the audience and cameras (this is where I always stand). Specifically, I'd look for Johanna and Kenny who have reason to be in the area. Perhaps ColiesMom will know if Colie may be there as well.
If anyone has any specific question not addressed above and you actually have a ticket, send me a PM and I'll try to answer it over the weekend. I'll like not answer today since I'm flying home from Vegas.

Awwwww...too cute, and true!
I have off tomorrow and I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to go into NYC and see if they happen to have an extra ticket. What's the wrost that can happen? They say no and I go shopping for a few hours! haha. We'll see. I might be too lazy/tired tomorrow.
I thought it was today as well.
I would assume that many of the castmembers are gathering in the NYC area today for tomorrow's festivities.
