no. they're not from america. i think they are from korea. my bad
Yeah I just read that they have retired.
I'm tired of hearing about how Jabbawockeez is only good because of the masks. They incorporate those props with their style and make it work. So what if they use a prop all the time? If it works, it works. Also, Kid Rainen is actually a good bboy. He is a very well rounded breaker. I actually think he's better then D-trix, even if D-Trix knows how to do air tracks. When people say power moves is what makes a bboy, I laugh, and I can never stop laughing at that.

I actually think he is better than D-Trix too, but I'm only saying that I wish he knew how to do power moves such as halos and air flares bc I am getting tired of people saying that Jabba can't do an air flare or halos (everybody on YouTube basically) so Jabba is automatically not as good as Quest Crew. That ****** me off. And I was trying to say that Jabba mix style with their masks perfectly. I just didn't know how to word it like you did. And I like Jabbawockeez better than Quest Crew and Supercrew. I think Jabba is better, but they wouldn't be as big and successful w/o the mask. But their style is perfect with the mask and the fact that they can do every style basically is what makes them better than Quest, Super, and every crew that has been on ABDC. Everybody was accusing Jabba of copying Expression Crew. Jabba said in an interview that they got the mask and glove idea from an old dance crew back in like the late 70's and early 80's called Demons of the Mind from Oakland Cali, and that they were just paying tribute to the old crew. And come to find out Jabba and Expression Crew knew each other from international dance competitions in America and Korea.
I think that everybody on youtube is ignorant. They don't understand the dance world at all. They think that a funny colored faux hawk bboy is better then a simple looking bboy just because he can do a move that is simple to their minds rather then something so complicated (Ronnie's combos/threads). Everybody is all like, "Oh! Check out Ryan cause he can touch his foot to his elbow!" But seem to forget Ronnie's airtracks to babymills to gorillas. The only reason Quest crew is good is because of Hok. Without Hok, that crew would be lost. All of Jabba's members are awesome dancers and choreographers, and they could still make the same performaces without any specific person. Same with Super Crew, BF, KB, FP, etc. Without Hok, Quest would be a 2nd rate Super Crew because Hok at least puts in the other styles. I know Feng waves, but he's actually a little sloppy at it. The people on the ABDC messageboards make me want to throw up. Even the non-quest fans. They're all so rude to other crews, and have no knowledge of what dance is. Also Adrian, Jabbawockeez would still be as big even w/o masks, because they would make their style appropriate to how it would be without masks. I also have to add that Mike Song is a beast. A monster and I still haven't found anyone that can top him in the same styles he does. Kevin Brewer, Tony Tran, Ben Chung, Bionic, Hok, all are great dancers. but Mike's choreography for Kaba Modern Legacy, Kaba Modern 6, Kallusive, is absolutely amazing. He just needs to lose weight... he looks kinda goofy. Lol.

Because I saw Kevin Brewer of Jabbawockeez and Ronnie of Super/Full Force Smash Soul Sector by themselves in the So. Cal all-stars vs. Soul Sector battle. I don't know if Mike is as good as Kevin Brewer. Just look up the Jabbawockeez at level 4, part 1 and 2 and check out Kevin Brewer's solo at the very beginning of part 1, sickest dancing I have seen. He doesn't miss a beat. And if you wanna watch Kid Rainen doing some sick bboying, just look up Jabbawockeez at Reprezent part 1 and Saso's bboying right after Rainen's is sick. They are the last two doing their solos on part 1. This is why I think they are the best dance crew, with or without the mask and it makes me think you are right about the whole mask/success stuff.
Adrian, search Mike Song choreography reel on youtube. It's awesome. No doubt is Kevin Brewer amazing, but I really like Mike's style. And you can't compare Kid Rainen with Mike Song. Different styles, like apples and oranges.

I thought you would wanna see 4 cool *** Jabba videos since you seem like a fan of theirs, but I guess you're not a fan of them like I am. and I have seen Mike Song's choreography reel and it is sick, I agree, but I really don't care because I am not a Kaba fan.

A huge one lol. But just as individual dancers, my current favorite is Mike Song. Crew wise, I am a much bigger Jabba fan then Kaba. And I already saw those videos you mentioned, all are really good. Sorry I misunderstood, I thought you were comparing those two.
I don't know if I can remember 10 off the top of my head but the one's that stand out to me 1. Fannypack, Missy "Get Ur Freak On" : that performance was AMAZING, so creative, did a fantastic job of capturing Missy and taking it to the next level. 2. Beat Freaks, Illusion Challenge - again it was amazing and I loved seeing the females kicking butt not in a "they're good for an all girl crew" way but in a genuine they are best dance crew way. It sucks that their final performance wasn't so good because based on overall performances I thought they deserved to win. Others in no particular order Supercrew, We Fly High Fly Khicks, Pon de Replay - it wasn't the greatest performance ever, but it was the first time I thought they were there based on performance and not just because they were sexy. Quest Crew, Toxic - I wanted to love QC right off the bat because they had sytycd alumni, but they really slipped under the radar for most of the competition, this was one of the few times before they finale where they stepped it up imo Fanny Pack, Flashdance - I loved this crew, one of the most innovative they've had, I couldn't believe they went home after this

For a second I thought this was for AGT. ABDC is cool as well.

Mike S. kills people is his battles as well but I'm not sure if he's as good as Kevin when it comes to beat manipulating which is what I enjoy most. Like Faceless mentioned, groups like Jabbas, Kaba, SuperCrew, even the BeatFreaks.. are all good indivudually. Each member brings so much to the table especially in SuperCrew. I'm not so sure if Quest wouldnt be good without Hok, but I know he's the one who comes up with the actual dancing most the time.

I loved the We Fly High by Supercrew though. They murdered that challenge in every way.
1. Red Pill-Jabbawockeez 2. OrQUESTra-Quest Crew 3. Evolution of Hip Hop-Jabbawockeez 4. Illusion Challenge-Beat Freaks 5. TIE between PYT (MJ performance)-Jabba and Thriller(MJ performance)-Kaba Modern 6. We Fly High-Supercrew 7. Hip Hop Decathalon-Quest Crew 8. All That Jazz (Broadway challenge)-Jabbawockeez 9. Battle of the Sexes Challenge-Beat Freaks 10. Din Dadda(1st episode challenge)-Beat Freaks I also really like Ninja by Supercrew, Battle of the Sexes Challenge by Quest Crew, and Apologize by Jabbawockeez.
For some reason I can't get into OrQuestra. The only good part was Hok's locking to Victor's move. Everything else looked normal too me. And to even more prove my point about people getting to captivated by simple moves (D-trix's headspins). He spun, like normal, he slowed down, which people do. WHOA!!!
He slowed down and sped up 2 or 3 different times though, and perfectly to how Ryan was playing the piano, and I really don't like flips and stuff all the time, but the push flip with D-Trix pushing Steve was amazing and a **** of a way to end a performance. I am a jabbawockeez fan, but I have to give credit where credit is due.
It's hard for me to say which perfomance was better out of Red Pill and Orquestra. Although I must admit that was crazy when Quest did that push flip. There was another breakdance move (I dont know the name of it). It was towards the end and one guy some how put his body parrallel to the groud, on his backside, using only his arms. That performance is probably the main reason they ended up winning the finale.

It also helped them that Beat Freaks' last two performances were poorly put together, kind of bland, and a little sloppy. If Beat Freaks did as good as their two performances before their last dances, they would have won hands down. I liked Red Pill better, even putting aside how much I like Jabbawockeez more then Quest, because they mixed dancing with some breaking, rather then how it was all toprocking and then a little locking like how Quest did it. Rainen's babies were cool too, I liked those better then D-trix's headspins.
Does anyone here do this kind of dancing besides me? I'm just wondering. And I don't think Fanny Pak was robbed, because had Fanny Pak been up against Super Crew in the finals rather then SoReal Cru, they still would have lost, because at that time, it was the time for an all breaking crew to be put in the spotlight. Just like season 3 it should have been Beat Freaks' win, since it was a good time for the girls to be on the show. BF was robbed, just as much as Kaba Modern was. At least SoReal Cru was decent, Status Quo was just plain boring. And LC, give ABDC a chance, the show is awesome and it's better then the So You Think You Can Dance/Dancing With the Stars craze. For me...please? Lol. Anyways, I realized that when I came into Season 2 and Season 3 I didn't think I'd like any crew as much as Jabbawockeez and Kaba Modern, and I didn't come into the seasons with an open mind, so I'm going into season 4 without thinking of it as a comparison to the first 3 seasons. Though, even after realizing my closed mindedness for Season 2 and 3, Jabbawockeez are still my favorite. ABDC's holy grail and for a good reason. They made ABDC into what it is now.
Fanny Pak may not have won the show but they at least deserved to be in the Final 2. THAT'S where I think they were robbed. Can you honestly say that Soreal Cru deserved to be in the Finale more than Fanny Pak?

SoReal deserved to be in the final because they did something to make fans and have people vote for them. I enjoyed Fanny Pak much more then SoReal, but if they didn't get enough fans, that isn't anyone's fault but theirs. I say the same for Kaba Modern and Status Quo. I really thought Kaba should have been 2nd, but if they didn't get enough votes then it's their problem. This is all assuming that the voting was legit. I've heard it was rigged for Kaba and FP to go home since they didn't want two west coast groups in the finale. If it was rigged, then it's Randy Jackson's fault. SoReal's performances were consistent. They were at least decent, unlike Status Quo's failure of performances, like their MJ one. Season 3 had it right, with the two best groups, but had it wrong with the winner. It seems like the standout groups to date, have storylines. Like Jabba and Gary, Status Quo and being poor, Super Crew being bboys, Beat Freaks being girls, and the list goes on, but I haven't found out Quest's story? Did anyone else?

So I'm assuming once they all heard about ABDC, they decided to come together as a group. I don't think their storyline is as dramatic as some of the other crews but there you go...
Um...I only saw a couple, but that was the most wack top 10 I've ever seen.
The first 5 or so choices they picked were way off. Seriously... Dynamic Edition? Break Sk8? Strikers All Stars? BOGUS! They picked right when picking Super Crew, Quest, Fanny Pak, Kaba Modern, Beat Freaks and definitely Jabbawockeez. I'm also very very very happy with the #1 spot.

I saw a brief thing that had Break Sk8 and Dynamic Edition in the top 10, just don't know where.
Jabba took the number one spot with PYT.......... Yeeees!!!!!!! Take that Quest Crew!! This wasn't all that great of a top 10 as a whole though. I also think that the Jabbawockeez Red Pill performance was better than PYT, but I really like PYT too. This just proves my point that dancing isn't all about headspins on a piano even if it does look awesome. Jabbawockeez still the best crew out of all three seasons imo.
Dynamic Edition's very first performance should be on the top ten.
Yes, the #1 spot was definitely right, but Strikers All Stars at #4? Really? Would you mind filling me in on what the first 6 were? Fanny Pak should have been #5, Kaba Modern should be #4, Quest #3, Beat Freaks #2 and yeah. To replace the 4 I don't think should be there should be Supreme Soul, SoReal Cru ... and ... I can't think of any. Lol. That is just if groups couldn't be repeated.
Speaking of Jabbawockeez their performance on SYTYCD was really good. I'm sure people who watch that show have seen it.YouTube - SYTYCD - Jabbawockeez "America Best Dance Crew"
That upside down pose into that headspin Kid Rainen done is ****ing dope!!!!!!! Jabbawockeez are the best!!!! They didn't miss a beat. I have never seen this. Thx., great vid btw.

Granted I didn't see #5 or 3, but I would definitely put them ahead of Strikers. I don't know what they were thinking when they put this list together.
