I also forgot to mention, that was one of the best group dances I have seen in a long time. It was fantastic.
And I am going to the tour!
You are?! When and where?
Yes! I know!
November 9th, at the Nokia Center in Hollywood/LA area.
Oooh I'm so jealous! They came to Portland for last season's tour but I missed it because we were out of town that weekend. And that would have been a great season to see!
Series Celebrates Milestone 100th Episode Thursday, July 23; Katie Holmes Performs and Jaimie Goodwin, Hok Konishi, Travis Wall and Heidi Groskreutz-Burns Return
Next week, talk-show host and dance enthusiast Ellen DeGeneres and Emmy Award-winning choreographer Mia Michaels will join judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy as guest judges of the Top 8 finalists (Brandon Bryant, Jason Glover, Evan Kasprzak, Janette Manrara, Jeanine Mason, Ade Obayomi, Kayla Radomski and Melissa Sandvig) when they compete with new partners on a two-hour performance show Wednesday, July 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
The following night, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE will celebrate its milestone 100th episode with a special performance of “Get Happy” by Katie Holmes as well as the return of fan-favorite and Emmy Award-winning routines, including Wade Robson’s “Ramalama (Bang Bang)” and “The Hummingbird and the Flower” (performed by Jaimie Goodwin and Hok Konishi) and Mia Michaels’ “The Bench” (performed by Travis Wall and Heidi Groskreutz-Burns). I am so not missing a second of next week.

I could do without the Katie Holmes cameo but I'm excited for everything else! :)
Ellen!!!!! I am so pumped for wednesday! She came and did Tulane's commencement speech a couple of months ago and had me crying from laughter the entire time. This just makes me love so you think you can dance even more!

I looooooooooove Ellen!
First of all, Ramalama is one of my favorite songs ever, and that Wade routine is some of the best dancing/choreography I have seen in a while. I cannot wait.
And anything with Travis or Mia is genius, but that routine is astounding.
I am actually looking forward to seeing Katie Holmes so I can laugh at her. :)
Ok I'll give you that! LoL
Everytime I see her I picture Tom Cruise with a knife!
I am wondering if he Wade is teaching this top 8 Ramalama, or it will be the old cast.
I think it will be the old cast, because Ivan and Allison were coming back to dance, thus I assume they will be part of Ramalama. Heidi will also be there for sure, as well as Travis.
Even though I would be surprised if they were able to get back all of the old cast for that dance.
I completely agree, I have that on tape and have rewatched it so many times. I am so excited for next week, I can not wait to see the dancers redoing their dances. I could do without Katie Holmes and have more previous dancers but you can't have everything you want.
I honestly see Evan not going home this week, he definitely has the teen vote and alot of people that watch the show do not vote for the best dancer, but their favorite dancer. Which is often two very different things.
My perfect final four would be Brandon and Ade and Jeanine and someone else, I do not really have a preference.

Melissa!
Very excited for next week as well, will be great to see them bring back those old routines, I hope they do the Mandy Moore Sweet Dreams routine or Benji's rockerfeller *****, two of my all time favorite routines from the show. My final four would be Brandon, Ade, Melissa and Jeanine
I can't even say I want Melissa in the top. I just don't know for the girls!
Every dance I've seen her perform I feel like she's killed it. Kayla I can't even remember who she is half the time, she just doesn't register with me. I wouldn't mind seeing Janette make final four.
New couples:
Ade/Melissa - Contemporary (Tyce Diorio), Cha Cha (Tony Meredith & Melanie LaPatin)
Brandon/Jeanine - Pop Jazz (Laurie Ann Gibson), Waltz (Hunter Johnson)
Jason/Kayla - Broadway (Tyce Diorio), Hip hop (Shane Sparks)
Evan/Janette - Jazz (Sonya Tayeh), Rumba (Tony Meredith & Melanie LaPatin)

I am definitely ecstatic over the first group. I am so glad they got back together but they need to KILL it, so that they can stay.
Brandon and Jeanine? Wow, that is probably going to be really good, but the dances they have don't scream, Vote for Me!
Jason and Kayla are amazing, granted I think I have a crush on Jason, but they both lack in personality, so they have to work extra hard and kill the dances. Hip Hop could be their saving grace.
Evan and Janette is definitely an awkward pair dancing wise. I think that they both are very popular. Sonya ia amazing, and I think they can kill that. But the Rumba could be a Challenge for Evan. I think Janette is safe after these two
.

She has killed every dance, but to be honest, I can't tell you one dance from any of these girls that has been bad. Janette is my Cuban bombshell, and I love her.

I agree completely regarding Kayla, I just haven't warmed up to her this whole season...she doesn't stand out compared to the others, IMO.
I love Kayla still. I will agree that she lacks personality wise, but her dancing is beautiful from week to week.
The viennese waltz she and Kupano did was gorgeous but I still don't see her beating out any of the other girls. We'll see.
Haha Dart, I love how you put the couples and their dances in spoilers, then proceed to talk about them all without spoilers :)
Hahah. Sorry Molds. My mistake.
