Real World Cancun: Episode 6 - Discussion

As if males didn't already have opinions of women and flirtatiousness and loyalty, her portrayal on this episode and the initial one with CJ does not help matters much. I mean the lines of what classifies cheating is quite curvy depending on a matter of opinion, but I think I would be upset if I was Matt.

Overall, I want to say I enjoyed this episode but I didn't. I feel like I finally am given a reason to watch, etc, but almost every cast member turns me away. First Joey, then CJ, then Bronne, and now Jonna.

I will admit this is the first season where I didn't outright hate one cast member. Hate is a strong word, so strongly dislike may be better because it is not like I personally know them. I enjoy watching every single cast member from RW:Cancun. And while I just had a mini-rant about Jonna, I'm not ready to write her off. I really love Cancun. I know its gotten mixed reviews, but I couldn't be happier!

I wanna love Jonna, because she is such a sweet girl. but the actions she performs, and her treatment of her boyfriend, is shady.

I liked Jonna until this episode. She's said the right words all season, but her actions first with CJ and especially now are completely crossing the line of trust in a relationship. Bronne...when's he gonna break out? He's been funny every time he's on, but there's still no stories going on for him.

Jonna did say all the right words it seems.

i thought this episode was a little boring :/ where is the drama?? thank goodness for DVR and the FF button... but hey at least joey finally took responsibility for almost screwing up his job... the funniest thing i read tonite.... In that case it was somebody trying to get somebody to leave. In this case, Joey has NOBODY to blame but himself. At this point, if other people had to leave because of the job so should he. It is his fault anyway you cut it.

Dart, I agree with you. I am not only being biased because I like Derrick but if he had been fired for being drunk I would say the same thing.

What are you talking about? I have not once liked him and I will fully admit that. I think he should go home because he failed to cooperate with the simple task that he was given. If Ayiiia decided to stay home, and sleep, and not bother to call, I would say the same thing. You don't know how I see people.

Yeah, my posts were in reference to somebody trying to send someone home, never somebody leaving because they don't follow the rules. I guess I can say the same in that judging by your posts you prefer Joey and would rather stick up for him and let me have my opinion and leave it at that. He should go because the rules state not because I would like that.

Why shouldn't he be fired for that? He caught an extremely lucky break from her this time. I think there's a giant difference between bullying someone into going home and being sent home for job insubordination. We'll see how it pans out, I guess.

I'm so sick of people complaining that episodes are boring and don't have enough drama. I'd much rather see an entire season without any drama than have to sit through fights like the cj, joey, ayiiia fight. People asking for drama is the reason that the amazing people like jasmine, bronne, baya, and others like them don't get shown often.

I mean if I were about to leave, I would be distraught, the whole time, he was more upset about being left in limbo, rather than the potential reality of him going home. Yeah he caught a break, and it doesn't seem like it is for long.

We saw the most of Ryan and Katelynn, but we did see enough of Devyn, Sarah, Scott, and JD. The only one truely left out was Baya. It was like each of them had there own episode where it focused on one person, except Ryan and Katelynn had two.

Yeah, it became evident in this episode for me that editing is what is truly hurting it. I can understand an episode focusing on solely one person. But not when every other episode is excluding them. How this whole episode can be about Jonna meeting some guy and the whole boyfriend issue is beyond me. In Brooklyn, sure Katelynn, Ryan, and Sarah pretty much dictated the season, but Scott, Devyn, JD, and Chet got their episodes. And I feel the past seasons were pretty fair. I LOVE Ayiiia really, but I will say that it isn't fair that her and Joey have commanded the screen time. Jasmine, Bronne, CJ, Emilee, and until now Jonna, have yet to get airtime.

the editing has been going down hill for a very long time. I really wish they would go back to half hour episodes, and 25 or so of them.

MTV kept putting "I was looking for love" yet never does my storyline go there. it's all so ****ing weird, in my opinion.
