I really hope that Jonna is on. I don't care for her on Cancun but she has potential to do as well as Brittini or Svetlana. I love seeing rookies do well:)
Emilee Fitzpatrick: so you decided to do it??? you'll do amazing, i'm rooting for you!!!
ooooooooh!
You may not have noticed but being a "free agent" is kind of a big deal!
Yes...but not for a punter. He's got slim to none odds.
Plus, it's not that much of a "big deal" anyway. It still means he doesn't have a job.
Actually, I'm wondering how he's considered a "free agent" if he never signed with a team in the first place. The proper term is unrestricted free agent.
Insider, do you mean the new ones or the ones from FM1? Because I know that Kenny, Evan, Diem, Linette and Easy were all rejects from either Key West or Austin.
Based on some "inside info" I've received... I believe a few of those people were rejected specifically to be saved for Fresh Meat. (including at least one who is not listed.)
Here's a little something for all of you haters to chew on. The FM kids were all cast specifically for the challenge. That could have a little something to do with their success...
And that means.....What exactly?

It means that they were chosen specifically with the challenges in mind. Where people who are cast for the RW are mostly picked for other reasons. (I'm assuming they aren't picked solely on how well they will do on future challenges, of course.) There are people who will be good at both... Obviously. However, it makes perfect sense that Fresh Meat cast members would excell.

Hence why they seem to keep coming back as well I suppose. :)

So does this mean Casey was casted for the challenge because she was likely to do good? I mean I like Casey and all but I don't think she was the best choice for a challenge. She doesn't bring much drama either. She might be involved in some drama but most of the time she isn't a key player in it. Casey isn't that good when it comes to competing. She's not a good runner or climber. She's not that smart. She's not strong. Basically anyone can beat her in an elimination no matter what the elimination is. I do like her a lot and love seeing her on the challenge but if i was casting a challenge, I probably wouldn't choose her to be on it.
I think that most of them were real world rejects and just got lucky that fresh meat was the next challenge. If you notice most of them auditioned for the real world Austin and Key West and didn't make it. I mean if they were saving people to go on the fresh meat challenge instead of the real world, why didn't they pick people who didn't make it on to the other real world seasons like San Diego and Philli? I feel that there were definetly some better choices they had besides the ones they actually picked if they were saving people for the challenges. Since Austin and Key West were the seasons closest to the fresh meat challenge, there random strangers were chosen because casting was probably too lazy to do another casting process right after they just made a cast for key west.
Steven712... casting is casting. I'm sure we can all agree that some of the people chosen for RW or RR didn't seem to be cut out for the job either. However, most are spot on. IMO, of course.
I suppose you can have your ideas on how the casting works.. and I'll have mine. Being that a lot of what I just said came straight from the horses mouth.. I think I'll stick with mine. ;)

Yea but with the real world it doesn't matter when it comes to your physical being and being able to climb, run, solve puzzles or anything extreme. With the real world they sometimes to choose characters who I guess weren't exactly what they thought they were going to be. However with a challenge, if you are going to cast people specifically for it, I would not just look at someone and assume they will do good. So as you said before, the fresh meat cast was chosen specifically for this challenge, I think that is wrong. There is no way that some of the cast on fresh meat were chosen just for that challenge. Most of them werent't good competitors and didn't do much more than any other contestant. If you were casting for a challenge, I would choose people who can at least compete. Some of the cast were just regular boring competitors who didn't bring much to the table. Some of us could have probably beaten them at anything.
Steven, I would say this game is 90% social to be honest. You don't have to be a competitor to be on a Challenge.
Now onto this Challenge, anybody have a date nailed down? I think B said in 3 weeks, like a week ago. So, let's snoop!
