OK, watching again right now. If I am understanding this mission correctly, wouldn't it have been more beneficial for Casey to be hooked to the top of the rope? That way she would not have to climb up anyone, and she could be practically lifted up.

Plus you'd probably want to put your heaviest male up so that you have more support from the top when it's their time to come up.

Maybe she could have been the second or third person at the top of the rope. I just think putting her where they did was not a good decision, considering her competitive ability.
I like Wes alot, but I feel he kind of dug his grave. I think Evan and Kenny do work and stuff, but Johnny just follows them. I can't wait to see how this will unravel next.
I wonder what Susie's natural hair color is? She may naturally be a blonde, but I doubt her natural blonde is that bright. She's been rocking that platinum blonde for a very long time. It works for her, though, for the most part. Interestingly enough (to me), I went to school with a girl who is also named Susie who also rocked the whitish blonde hair color pretty well. Did Wes really used to be best friends with Kenny and Evan, or some of the other guys on the team? I'm not completely sure who he was referring to, but he said "those used to be my best friends, and my fiance too." Obviously fiance is Johanna. It's interesting Chet took a liking to Tonya. He was sweet to her when talking to her on the stairs. This episode kind of makes me see Chet in a more positive light. I don't think he's a bad guy, but he was getting on my nerves by the end of RW Brooklyn.

I'm pretty sure Evan has been whining about Wes ever since he screwed him over on the Duel. God forbid someone screw EVAN over!

We know these aren't the brightest crayons in the box...:D Although maybe they were just putting her at the end to get her out of the way.
I doubt it... I'm pretty sure Evan has been whining about Wes ever since he screwed him over on the Duel. God forbid someone screw EVAN over!
Yeah, I hadn't gotten the impression that those guys were close. I don't always know who hangs out together outside of the shows, though. It's possible he wasn't talking about Evan or Kenny. Maybe Darrell or Derrick or Johnny. But I don't know who he was talking about. Or he could have been talking about Evan and Kenny and over exaggerating their friendship. I don't know.
I doubt it... I'm pretty sure Evan has been whining about Wes ever since he screwed him over on the Duel. God forbid someone screw EVAN over!
I think Wes and Evan actually hung out outside of the show. Wes said he texted Evan sometimes. Thats how Kenny knew Wes was mad about what happened on the Island.

He was the only one out of all of those guys that was ever "okay" with Wes. When they faced off during the Duel they seemed civil towards each other. ... and I don't think Darrell and Wes have ever liked each other. On the first Fresh Meat no one really liked Wes, plus I remember Darrell making a comment about how Wes thought he was stupid or something.
Same here, but I'm not surprised. We know these aren't the brightest crayons in the box...:D Although maybe they were just putting her at the end to get her out of the way.
Or maybe she freaked out about the thought of being hooked up so high in the air, like she freaked out when they were trying to find a place in the lineup she'd be comfortable at during a mission on G3. But I think you are probably correct about them not thinking strategy concerning Casey. They need to minimize her as much as possibly.
I bet, if anything, he was referring to Derrick. He was the only one out of all of those guys that was ever "okay" with Wes. Like I know Coral ended up liking him. I think Katie likes him, too. But perhaps Darrell never got to that point. I do remember Wes saying Darrell was boring on an aftershow or something. But on this challenge, Wes said Darrell taught him how to play the game. I don't know if it was through observation or Darrell actually giving him tips.
So just a quick question about the rules of the game... TJ said that when you beat someone in a Ruin, you take whatever money they had in their bank account. Does that apply to the final mission as well? In other words, will the losing team in the final mission forefit their earnings to the winning team?
This challenge is better than Duel 2 and The Island combined! I'm not sure about the rest of you but I got to relive one classic challenge moment - when Ev was picking on trainwreck Tonya the camera kept showing Veronica and her evil laugh - it reminded me of one of the Infernos were Veronica made her team throw the mission to get rid of Katie and Abram was clowning around and you could see the evil smile on Veronica's face - ahhh such sweet memories back then. Anyway back to the current challenge; I've always hated Wes so I cannot take his side now. Although I intensely dislike JEK, especially the JE portion, Wes is even more of an immature jacka** than they are and proved it with his actions. Yes, throwing the challenge was a good gameplan for him, but for crying out loud man up and go in there and send people home - dont throw challenges like a whiny baby just because you cant have your way in the vote process. UGH Side note - I'm sooooo glad Danny and Melinda are married!! If anyone is meant to be its them. Them and Lacey were the only reasons I watched the whole Austin season. If I remember correctly Adam started the fight between him and CT - so why the **** did they bring him back? That dwarf annoys the **** outta me and always has. Also - how did Tonya end up on the Champions team - I dont ever remember her making it all the way to the end of a Challenge, much less being on the winning team??? Good first episode I cant WAIT for more!!
Yeah it seems like Katie really likes Wes. She was even trying to defend Wes slightly saying "maybe we should be nicer to him" but ofcourse Kenny shot that down immediately. Katie strikes me as one loyal chick.

problem for Wes then, is that Katie is the weakest player on that team. Not exactly a great alliance.
problem for Wes then, is that Katie is the weakest player on that team. Not exactly a great alliance.
Yeah. Don't think it's much of an alliance. It's not like she would help him throw missions. She's probably just playing her own game and still likes Wes as a person.
Did Wes really used to be best friends with Kenny and Evan, or some of the other guys on the team? I'm not completely sure who he was referring to, but he said "those used to be my best friends, and my fiance too." Obviously fiance is Johanna.
And then Wes said "I can't even describe how much that hurts". Did anyone feel sorry for him when he said that? I just remember him being so happy at the end of the Duel, saying how he was cool with everyone and going to marry Johanna. And he said he even retired from challenges at that point he was so satisfied. What a huge difference now. Funny how things change.
I would feel bad for Wes if him and Johanna were still together when the Island happens. I mean, I can see why it would suck to see your ex-fiance in an alliance with three guys you hate. But overall I cant say I feel bad. If you meet someone from a reality show, and you continue to go on to reality shows, it shouldnt be a surprise if you ex hooks up with someone else on a reality show.

That's why I don't understand why I've seen some people act like Johanna is such a horrible person when she didn't do anything wrong. She was single. Wes can be hurt but he can't expect his exes not to hook up with other people, even if it's another castmember. I just think in his mind, he lost respect for her because he doesn't want to see HIS girl have something that was just a hookup on national tv with someone like Kenny. Maybe for some reason it bruised his ego. He was still referring to Johanna as his girl, saying that she and Kelly Anne are "my girls". If I was Kelly Anne, I wouldn't like that my boyfriend still seems to be dwelling on his ex girlfriend and what she's been doing.
I don't think Katie not being a strong competitor would have mattered too much as long as she and Wes had a good number of people on their side to oppose JEK. Katie could have been brought other friends into an alliance with them to make sure JEK doesn't run things. Katie also didn't want these guys in charge. Maybe she could have rounded up some people like Ibis and Syrus and maybe even Tonya, just for sake of voting numbers. But Wes didn't even allow for something like that to come together because he issued an ultimantum to the team to do things his way or he'd sabotage them. I did see how much Wes cared for Johanna on The Duel when he talked about wanting to marry her and win the money for their future. It was really good to see an emotional side to him like that. I didn't like the way he treated her on FM, and it was surprising to see him think of Johanna the way he did on The Duel. Slightly endeared their relationship to me. So I do feel a little bad things didn't work out for them. But I do agree that Johanna doesn't owe him anything. They were broken up on The Island, and he wasn't even there.
If I remember correctly Adam started the fight between him and CT - so why the **** did they bring him back? That dwarf annoys the **** outta me and always has. She also made it to the end of Inferno 2 (but her team lost).
I'm sure I'm going to be attacked by the bulk of people for this but I disagree with most posts on here. Personal opionion of course. First of all, I have never liked and continue to despise Wes. He's an *** through and through. Is everyone forgetting how he treated both Casey and Jo on Fresh Meat? In addition to that, I LOVE Kenny. I enjoy Evan the bulk of the time. Johnny I have no feelings on other than that he's nice to look at. But let's face it... there's a reason those three do well in challenges. Like it or hate it... they have the game figured out. And I cannot comprehend how everyone doesn't see Wes as the hypocrit he is. I mean what he's mad at Kenny for is what he did to Cohutta! I just hope that they get Wes out of there fast and KEJ end up on top! Its been too long that we had all three of these guys together. And win or lose... Tonya is a hot mess.
I just watched the episode and it was good. I think they dragged on the wes johanna kenny and darrell story line a little bit too much, but thats just my opinion. Tonya is a nut job. She is always enjoyable to watcn!
I don't understand why Wes is still there. He isn't going to make money if his plan does not work. JEK want to stay in the game. If he is as tough as he thinks, why not fight? If he thinks he could win- thats a way to get JEK kicked off with him (or at least one) and they dont get money. JEK have motivation to to fight. Wes really have no reason not to. So from that I call BS on Wes. Also, I have never understood why people think Wes is so strong. Freash Meat eliminations were all based on endurance, which he has. Same with the finally for the duel. Im not saying he is not strong, but I dont see any reason to think he is the stronger guy there.

If Wes has his way, the challengers win and they split the money amongst themselves. They will probably not send in Wes because he's like an additional member of their team. Wes stays an extra day. If Wes doesn't have his way, the champions win, they will automatically want to send in Wes. Wes wins, he takes money from whoever he beats. Wes loses, he goes home without any money.

Does it really matter if Wes stays to the end or not? Wes made bank either way.... ;).

I admire Cohutta for being so calm. Wes did to Cohutta what Kenny did to Wes, yet Cohutta is good friends with Wes. I only person I don't care for in the Big 3 is Johnny. But I want Wes to stay around for just a few more episode to see what happens.
I like Wes, but I think he may be there just for the drama and entertainment. I don't that would be the right mentality to come into the game with if you want the cash.
I kind of feel that's a big reason Wes is there as well. Didn't Wes say to Darrell that he's rich in one of the dailies? I don't really know how much money Wes has, but Wes owns a couple of businesses. I don't think he is as interested in winning the money as he may be been previously on other challenges. However, I don't think he would mind winning some, either. And I agree with molds - I do think it's possible he can win money on this challenge.
Wes said the real reason he is there is to be with Kelly Anne and Johanna and embarass Kenny. I was just thinking, is Wes going to end up like the male Beth of these challenges? Every challenge everyone against him, disliking him, and him really willing to go against his team and threaten to throw challenges. Think about it. Beth hasn't been on in awhile, Wes is filling her role if you think about it. Only his anger seems more real and he's a better competitor.
Wes had a good friendship with Evan and Derrick before the challenge. In fact, when Wes beat Chet Evan congratulated him.
