the challengers shouldn't have done the secret ballot vote method. Adam basically killed himself when he decided to vote that way. They should've watched the Gauntlet 1 to see why the secret ballot causes issue. Though it's entertaining to watch especially if they started doing the 3,2,1 voting system.
He was screwing people over on the Duel. So I think he is just as shady as JEK.
Who did he screwed over? What i saw was that he and Evan made an "alliance". Wes would take out Brad and Derrick, and Evan would take out CT. Evan had the opportunity to make his part of the deal, he was sent packing. Too bad.
He wasn't exactly screwing people over. I know its a game and he was playing smart. So now I don't blame Evan if he was really being shady, because Wes put himself in this position by not telling him he was coming. I like Wes and all, but he should have at least been honest with Evan...
So people suck because they associate with Evan, Johnny and Kenny?
I think Syrus is still cool. At least he showed that he still got the game.
No because both Syrus and Veronica are better than that.
I think the problem the team may have with Wes is he came into the challenge mad at some people and mad some decisions based of that anger that affcted the team even those who had nothing to do with all the personal drama going on.
Why Adam and Bri? That just didn't make sense. It wasn't even consistent. Like two strong players or two weak players.
Clearly they would have to get rid of Casey eventually, why not do it the first chance they had?
I felt the same way last week when they sent in Kelly Anne. Grr, I really dislike this season.
It was a good episode although a bit calmer than the last two. It seems like for the time being that Wes and his team have called a short cease fire but that probably won't last for long. The Challengers winning was cool even if I think Casey should have been thrown in. Still they would have ended up losing either way looking back on it so in the end it doesn't matter all that much. And wow where has my Katie been? All you see of her is when she standing next to someone talking. And Dunbar popped up like a bad ex at the end of the episode. In fact Cohutta might not have been featured if he had not played a part in the team winning and talking to the doomed Adam.

The one golden chance (and almost, gaurantee) to get rid of their ********* competitor, and they choose to put Bri in instead? And only one person in the secret ballot voted for Casey? The ****? Man, that was a dumb*** decision. I'm sorry, but the Challengers deserve to lose for being that moronic. I would rather have a pet rock on my team than have Casey's God awful performance disgrace my team. I can say the same thing for Danny. Despite the fact I actually like him this challenge, he is weak and worthless. At least Adam could help on puzzles.
Hunter, I am in love with your posts, simply because you said the things that were lingering in my head. The format itself sounds wonderful and original on paper...but then, it turns out to be prettyyyy lopsided. And, I agree with you on all accounts of how awful the guys are on the Challengers, and how Casey and Shauvon's being there screwed the Challengers from the start. Yep...bad casting can do wonders for a show...Oh and the bathwater comment. Yeah, not even gonna touch that one.
Overall, a disappointing episode.
^ Yeah they deserved to lose everything that follows.
Hum I was pretty sure I included that in my last post, it must have been edited out.
Weird. It's just an opinion...
Are Kim and Casey in an alliance? Or is she in an alliance with Sarah? Sarah was the only person besides Casey who voted for KellyAnne to be nominated for the Ruins, which would seem strange since her team was obviously going to vote in Casey.
Maybe Bri told Kim beforehand that she wanted to step up and volunteer herself for the Ruins, but if not, it seems like Casey and Kim decided to vote for Bri on their own.
It would make sense that since Casey isn't a good competitor to say the least, that she would try extra hard to make strong interpersonal relationships. I remember in Gauntlet 3, when Coral left and she volunteered herself during deliberation no one had mentioned her before she said it (that we saw) and everyone was emotional and sad about seeing Casey go in and praised her for stepping up. Also, during all the trim the fat discussions, she was never one of the targets, it was Beth, Coral, Katie, and Robin. Maybe that was because they liked her or she was so light they could carry her if need be, but she seems to do well at making friends in these things and that does help her along.

That Challengers squad is pathetically weak. Okay, the guys?
Chet? Who? Nick? Who?
Danny? He gets a fair amount of camera time, but he's never done anything in any of these challenges.
Adam? I've clogged toilets with bigger ***** than him.
Cohutta? Again, he's 150lbs.
Even the bigger guys on that team... Brad -always comes up small in competition. And that other guy who's name escapes me.... big kid, never does anything.

If you watched the challenges you would know that size doesn't always matter. And what have Kenny and Johnny ever done in elimination rounds? Johnny has lost to Tyler and Evan. Kenny has only been in 2 elimination rounds, 1 where he lost to Nehemiah and the other him and Tina won against Eric and Katie

I feel the Champions are"Stacked"cause all go to challanges atleast twice a year so there more fit /challange smart...The challangers are mostly newbies and dont do challanges often except Danny,Diem,Adam and Brad .

Kenny also lost against Abram.
So when is your biography on those two getting published?
Look I don't know them personally (and neither do you) but ANYONE who hooks up with Evan has no respect for themselves in my opinion.
Once i saw the cast i figured.. wow huge challenge coming up. I saw the trailer and i thought it was even better than i planned. But once i saw the first challenge, i noticed that the teams were obviously unbalanced, and the only part that made me interested was the Wes part. The challenges haven't been that great.

Ridiculous. That is so ridiculous in so many ways but whatever.

I am going to have to agree with you TJ, they are TV personalities. Honestly out of the 3 of them JEK, I think Evan is hilarious, and he does seem to get respect from other challenge participants.
Just saw the sneak peek for the next episode on mtv.com and I feel bad for Tonya. Getting baby powder thrown in my eye while drunk would definitely **** me off. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agreed with Wes said too.

Well I like Wes but I'm not a "westopher". I do agree that everyone should leave Tonya alone. Obviously she's not mentally stable but I do think Tonya puts herself in these situations sometimes (and not this one so don't jump on me everyone) especially on other challenges. She wants to be the cool kid sometimes. JEK need to leave her alone but then again, that powder daily was posted last week (or the week before?) and she tweeted how she loves them and they are like family to her (JEK), soooo ?.
However, BMP really need to make sure people are on there right state of mind when on these challenges. Especially after what happened with on the Duel 2. And I know Wes isn't mentally crazy but he looks pretty crazy on TV.

I know she likes JEK and stuff but I'm sure at that moment, she wasn't too happy with the powder in her eyes, lol. Also in that daily clip when Kenny and Evan were messing with Katie, even though they were joking she wasn't happy about Evan getting in her face. Either others sometimes should realize that they don't mean anything they're doing to them or the guys should realize that not everyone knows or cares that they're messing around.
I think the one person who shouldn't be in Challenges anymore sincerely is Tonya. No offense at all, but she really is ****ed in the head. What the **** was she thinking climbing the mast of the boat?! A jump from such an altitude would kill her. I mean, statistically speaking, anything higher than 20 feet, you better send in the divers to recover the body and have her toe tagged and mailed home in a body bag. If she doesn't get rehab, she most likely WILL die. Sometime sooner, not later.
