I think it would be awsome to see people who we actually know about. I hate fresh meat. We don't know anything about them. Plus an insult to BMP?? have you seen half of the new RWRR cast members?? It would bring big drama! and thats what the challenges are all about!
Jersey Shore is a totally different thing then the challenges. No thanks.
Jersey Shore is a totally different thing then the challenges. No thanks.
It may be different from the challenges; however it's the same exact thing as the real world. They might be all Italian, but they are all the different. Just like the real worlders who go on the challenges.

Its bad enough people ***** about Fresh Meat and then a whole bunch of even more obnoxious personalities (and most of them are tools) on a challenge...no thanks. I don't want 8 Kenny's on the challenges that are boring enough as it is. BMP would never do that. Thats like putting people from I want to work for Diddy or Tough Love on I love Money. Not going to happen.
Okay. I just saw the trailer for the season and at the end did Mike punch a girl in the face or did I just Imagine that?
No, I don't think it was Mike who punched a girl in the face. Whoever did, classy /sarcasm.
Okay. I just saw the trailer for the season and at the end did Mike punch a girl in the face or did I just Imagine that?
I just watched that over and over again, because I could not believe what I was seeing! at first glance I thought OMG is that a girl? So I replayed it a few times, you cannot see the guys face, but the girl is definitely Snookie! This was not just a little jab either, whoever hit her seriously hit her hard! We need a screen cap of it to be able to see the mans face, but I have no idea how to do it.
I do think its Mike because when the cops have him handcuff he is wearing the same shoes he was wearing at the store where they work, if thats him doing that thats just bad **** and hes so fine lol
Anyone hear anything about the ratings for this show? It may be early, but there was a big buzz surrounding it.

This is a new low.
TMZ is now reporting about the upset Italian-American union Italian Group: Jersey Shore Was Offensive | TMZ.com - StumbleUpon Kenny should host his own show ... Guidoville ... or should that be Kennyville.
*** is a guido? I have never heard that word in my life before now!
*** is a guido? I have never heard that word in my life before now!
You haven't? Well....to be honest, I haven't either but from what I've gathered, they're supposed to be self-centered, hair-obsessed wierdos with orange tans. And I guess they're a negative stereotype of Italian-Americans now. This show scares me.
Because of all of the "fist pumping?"
Yes. :sofa:
Is going to the Jersey Shore and living with random strangers a common thing for people to do?
Is going to the Jersey Shore and living with random strangers a common thing for people to do?
Not complete strangers. Me and my friends get a house every year. Some people get a house with their friends friends and stuff like that. It is a lot of fun at the shore. It is just how they make it seem,. It's kind of sad, but fun! LOL
I'm watching....is everybody sure this is a real show and not an SNL spoof ?
Okay, I know this show is not supposed to be funny, but I **** when I watched yesterday. And I saw the TMZ report about trying to get it pulled - which is dumb, because they are not "acting" it is who they are. Believe me, if MTV did a show about a bunch of mexicans moving in together (though that's how we usually live anyway : ) I would be front and center watching that show as well. I think everyone should just relax and pump your fists way in the air!! : )
OMGSH @ Snookie getting punched. :( That's so cruel. Poor girl. And no guys. I watched the trailer over and over again on my DVR, it's for sure no one in the cast. I actually liked the show.... lol. I can't wait for the next episode. Though as I was watching the trailer, there's this blonde girl that kept appearing in the scenes. I think she's a replacement for one of the girls, anyone else think so? She was the one who was like "I'll drop you, b****" and was seen in more scenes.
And we were all worried. :laugh1:
Jersey Shore averaged 1.375 million viewers and a 0.8/2 A18-49 rating in its premiere. It was stronger with adults 18-34, where it got a 1.2/4 rating/share.
- from TVbythenumbers.

YAY!!! LOL. Honestly, I'm really suprised that it didn't get a t least a 1.7. How many of MTV's shows get over 1 million anyways? We are not out of the woods yet, because next episode could do better.
Yes. :sofa:

First of all...Stacee. That? Is awesome. Second, I hate you guys. I actually watched the rerun of this show tonight just so I could come in here and talk about it, since there's so much "buzz" as TJ would say. ;) Where to start...fist pumps and hair gel and belly-rings OH MY! This might be the biggest ****-show I have ever witnessed on MTV reality (and that's saying a lot). Mikie? Looks 45. Ronnie? Looks like Nick Lachey on 'roids. Vinnie? Needs anti-persperant. Paulie? His hair could poke someone's eye out. The girls? No words. Especially Snookie-snookers-snorkle. They should have let her leave. Aaaaand I'm pretty sure I know where Vinnie (or whichever guy it was) got his pink eye. It's called the hot tub. Having said that, I will probably keep watching. I can't. look. away. What is with these people? Geeez I'm Italian-American too and I am NOTHING like these people. Must be an East Coast thing.
From TMZ (and other various news sources):
Domino's just delivered a major blow to the reality show, instructing their media buyers to pull all Domino's commercials from future episodes. A rep for the pizza giant tells TMZ, "The content of this particular program is not right for Domino's Pizza." The announcement could mean a huge advertising opportunity for anyone selling hair gel, vodka, self-tanning products, steroids, hair-removal products, eye-liner, more hair gel, breast enhancements, cologne, energy drinks, Affliction t-shirts, fake nails and even more hair gel.
The thing is, is Domino's had a rotation of commercials to be played in general on MTV. So I don't know if they are pulling out of MTV entirely, or just requested to not be played during the [strike]trashiest **** ever not on VH1[/strike] show. Oh, and TV Guide said it premiered with 1.3 million viewers.

Funny, when I watched it, I saw several commercials for Bump-Its. For real. Coincidence? I think not.
Oh OPD it is NOT an East Coast thing, strictly a Staten Island/north NJ thing.
This is way to funny not to watch.
I can't believe people like this actually exsist! The show looks like a bunch of drunken drama. I'm from NJ and lived down the shore for a while, and this isn't a fair representation of us. :/
those people trying to get this show off the air are ridiculous!!! Jordan from Big Brother is from the same state as me but we are nothing alike, you didn't see me trying to get Big Brother pulled. I didn't flip out on AI when Kellie Pickler was on.

I do agree that people are taking it too far, if its that big of an issue, don't watch it. Its that simple. That being said, there is still a lot of buzz about the show and it could still come back with the ratings. Over a million is good, considering most of MTV's shows don't get over 1 million.
