Fresh Meat
So I'm bored watching throwback MTV Challenges. Although most hated Fresh Meat, I think it was one of the most cut throat strategic challenges, after maybe the 1st Duel. Besides a lot of drama, this season had great missions, a great alumni cast(at the time people hated them though) and the Fresh Meat kids were actually tolerable. I'd still like to see Chanda, Aviv, Johnnie & Linette again.

I want to see Johnnie definately agian. He seemed of those four to be the best competitor and overall I felt the most interesting. I always wonder why MTV picked Ryan over him, it's almost unfathomable considering the fact Ryan went home earlier and will be lucky to ever win a challenge. I on the other hand loved this season because it was cut throat and my favorite moment was when Kenny voted for himself.
I miss FM Diem.
Wasn't she on the last challenge.
Wasn't she on the last challenge.
yeah, but she's different now. Pretty much everyone is a lot more tolerable on FM than themselves now. Even Tonya was tolerable.
I think the Fresh Meat concept sucks and ruined the challenges. It defeats the purpose of RWRR challenges. If you want to bring in "fresh faces" bring in 12 old schoolers that the new generation of watchers don't know. I'm almost certain they could have found 12 old schoolers to come back and make for a good challenge.
That makes little sense. Older challengers tend to have settled down to a degree and can't go off and do a challenge based off their job or their family. Also they can pay less for rookies as opposed to vetrans. This makes sense to bring fresh, young people to see how they handle the situation.

I disagree did you watch Battle of the Seasons or the original Battle of the Sexes? In my opinion those challenges were the best. Can they still get people like Sean or Emily, highly doubtful but I almost guarantee they could get twelve castmembers from older seasons thtat would bring more to the challenges than most of these annoying fresh meat and repeat offenders like Paula. Susie, Katie, Tonya, Beth, & Veronica are all older castmembers that bring a lot to the challenge. I'm not asking for a complete cast of older castmembers but I would like to see atleast 3 or 4 a challenge.
I think this was the first challenge I stopped watching all the way through. I had enough towards the end, it was really bad I thought.

Although we all know the older castmembers bring so much to the show and are a million times more interesting than today's repeat offenders and Fresh Meat I think its safe to way we will never see former greats like Sean and Emily.
Some things I picked up from this challenge. The Final 4 Guys were all on the ruins. Wes, Casey, Tina & Kenny were good friends on this challenge after Austin left. Diem WAS a strategical player at one point. Derrick & Diem hooked up. (Forgot about that) The Final 3 teams were the only ones to win Exiles. Tina solved every puzzle in all her Exiles. All of Fresh Meat were actually tolerable. Aviv, Linette & Diem were all good friends at one point until Diem screwed Linette. After Evelyn, The other 5 Fresh Meat Girls made it to the Final 6. The Fresh Meat Girls were WAY stronger than the RW/RR. And overall I enjoyed watching this challenge, a lot more than the 1st time.. although I also enjoyed it then.
I loved the challenge! It wasn't until after when I started hating the fresh meat.
I actually like this challenge, even though I now wish that it had never happened. It probably had one of the best vet casts ever! Tina, Coral, Theo, Katie, Wes, Tonya, and Derrick all together should have been epic.
I kind of wish I could go back and watch this challenge I don't remember Kenny & Evan not being *******.

Yes. But if you consider Wes a vet then the rest of the FMers who've been on other challengers should be considered as well.
I was saying that Wes was on the veteren side, not Fresh Meat.
Oh ok.
As much as I dislike the Fresh Meat kids now, I did enjoy the first Fresh Meat season. I think had I known then that the FMers would be taking over future challenges maybe I wouldn't have liked it as much. I think the way that they structured the original FM season was based off of BotSeasons, which was one of my favorite seasons.
yeah, but she's different now. Pretty much everyone is a lot more tolerable on FM than themselves now. Even Tonya was tolerable.
It's only certain things I liked about her on FM. I thought I was going to hate her, based off her audition tape. She proved me wrong, for a little while. She's one of those that I'm really hot and cold with, I guess it has a lot to do with her edit.
