Yay Megan and Cheyne! I'm glad they won, they ran a great race and worked well together. Cheyne climbing down the whole building with his eyes closed was hysterical. I was worried when they arrived last to the poker task but they made up [I]tons[/I] of time, dang!
Poor Erica, she was freaking out man. You need to calm yourself down if you wanna get your lead back.
I haven't seen every season of TAR so maybe I am remembering wrong, but doesn't the final challenge usually have something to do with the entire race? Like collecting objects from every detour, or arranging flags? I mean the poker chip challenge was fine but I was kind of disappointed a simple counting challenge was the last obstacle.

Most TAR season finales have a final challenge consisting of everwhere they visited, but not all. That is usually the "puzzle" where you can either win or lose, but I guess sticking with the theme of Vegas, they chose poker chips, which is kind of like a puzzle.
I really liked Ericka a lot. She was funny and got frusterated so easily. I felt bad for her, but she made for good tv.
Meghan and Cheyne definitely deserved to win. They played the best game and never faught. I think everyone knew they were going to win it.

Yeah I enjoy that puzzle challenge, I think it's a nice end to the race. I can understand why they took the LV theme and ran with it, but I would have appreciated a little more connection to what they had accomplished during the race. Traveling from casino to casino with clues about the country of origin was a nice little mini-race I thought.
Erika did make for great tv, but I still think she let her emotions get the best of her when she got frustrated and that mixed with Brian being a little too much of a pushover to equal her out is what I think cost them the race. She couldn't really keep her cool under pressure and he couldn't really calm her down or take charge enough to get them back on track quick enough.

I'm not that mad. They gave up on a task and gave up on the race when the other 3 teams fought to the finish. Of all the teams that didn't make it to final leg I would have liked to see Zev and Justin the most. They got out on bad luck instead of lack of effort and I would have loved to see them race to the end.
This is why I dont watch this show. Every season I have watched the team I hate wins. I couldnt stand Meghan and Cheyne they are so annoying & it is weird to know they have fans. Cheyne is ok I guess but Meghan, ugh gag me now I cant stand her and her annoying voice. I only watched because my good friend Erika was on this year, sucks she lost.

You're the first person I've met that didn't like Meghan and Cheyne.
Ericka was easily my least favorite person left, I understand she was under pressure and all but she treated Brian like **** sometimes. Hopefully her family will start to accept him, he seems like a really great guy.
I liked Megan and Cheyne and they deserved the money.
I just saw season 9 in a marathon and I couldn't stand BJ and Tyler(winners of that season), so I feel your pain.

Right? My mom was like she needs to marry him now because that guy is a saint! I was fine with Erika but I just got annoyed that she lost it so easily. I know there is tons of pressure on the race, but I guess I have less patience for people that breakdown easily knowing they are going into something that will push you.
I watched the season 9 marathon too s&v! I didn't like BJ & Tyler by the end either. They got cocky and annoying instead of carefree and fun. I actually wanted the "frat boys" Eric and Jeremy to win. I thought they were hilarious with their remarks and jokes and ran a good race.
Same here, the only team I disliked more, and it was WAY more was Lake and Michele. He was horrible to her, horrible. Imagine being the kids and watching your parents act like that and talk to each other that way? Gross behavior. This season was actually a pretty good cast, I didn't have a team that I really almost hated, more just annoyed, which I expect and don't mind since it is reality tv and those "characters" do make for good tv sometimes.
According to RFF (and this article), the chip counter for Brian and Ericka miscounted not once, but twice.

Like I said before, it's weird to know Meghan and Cheyne have fans. I am not a big fan of the show so I dont frequent the boards regarding it. So I had no gauge as to was who was popular with the fans and who wasn't. Thus, why I find it weird that everyone likes them. Cheyne I can see why but I found Meghan to be ultra annoying. I didnt like her at all and it surprises me that people liked her. I had no problems with any of the other teams, I found Dan as annoying as Meghan at times but for the most part everyone was ok. Erika really was just under pressure. I have seen Erika and Brian together and they are an amazing, loving couple. When I see them it makes me wish I had someone the way they have eachother. I had never known that Erika's mother had such a problem with Brian, but I am sure she will get over it. They are really in love with eachother.
