I hope they hit up a country by Afghanistan such as Palestine.
Jordan and Jeff are vacationing in Mexico, and thus have been eliminated (TAR sends the eliminated players on a vaction similar to what Survivor does). The black guy with them is thought to be another TAR16 contestant.
Yes, he was paired with an African American woman. I believe that as recently as yesterday RFF had pinned down as seeing Phil at the Kuala Lumpur airport.
Not really surprising, when Allison went on the Amazing race after Big Brother she was gone fast as well
Wow she looks great since leaving the BB house! She's definitely lost weight and she finally got a good, supportive bra. lol How long are the rumored to have lasted in the race?
That's Puerto Vallarta isn't it?? I totally just recognized Si Senor.
That's Puerto Vallarta isn't it?? I totally just recognized Si Senor.
Oh molds ;)
Oh molds ;)
Whaaaaat? :)
Macaroons from RFF says that they go to 5 continents this season. A team was just spotted in Sentosa in Singapore.
I missed these two earlier, but this is Mike and Louie, referred to as "Team Camo" by RFF: They were spotted running in Singapore:
Thanks to RFF: Team Camo = Mike Naylor (45) and Louie Stravato (47), who are both detectives for the city of Cranston, RI. Per RFF, as of about a half hour ago, the race is over, and one team is one million dollars richer. :D Jeff and Jordan were spotted at SFO, meaning that San Fran is the location of the finish line.
Wow! Over already? It seemed like it went so fast. Congrats to the winners!
OK, so RFF has some new shtuff: The tweets are coming in about the teams being in San Francisco today, so the race may not be over as they reported yesterday. Caitlin and Brent were sighted at the Coit Tower. The cowboys were also spotted. -Shanghai is reported to be the penultimate leg. -Team "frat boys" were on a flight to Penang, Malaysia -They believe that the African-American women were spotted in the SF airport along with Jeff, Jordan, and one half of the grandmother/granddaughter team...they were not racing. I personally think that the finish mat is somewhere near the Golden Gate Park or San Bruno Mountain State Park, they have yet to release the actual location as not to interfere with filming.

Just curious, what makes you think that will be the end spot?
Thanks for all the info.. Just curious, what makes you think that will be the end spot?
One of the moderators at RFF said that the Coit Tower was about 8 miles from the finish mat...those are the only places of interest around that 8-mile radius. Season 11 I believe finished at the botanical gardens at the Golden Gate Park, so hopefully they at least changed it up. But it's a huge park.
I'm so excited to see Caitlin in this, awesome!

Season 16 will premiere Sunday, February 14th at 8pm.

RFF has spotted Mike and Louie in SFO, definitely not racing. Safe to say they were either decoys when we saw them in Singapore or they were eliminated...but they were one of the last teams eliminated. They know that the last 3 legs are for sure Singapore-Shanghai-San Francisco. They are thinking that Candlestick Park may have been the finish mat location. Also circulating is Hunters Point (which seems weird to me).
Looks like team cowboy, spotted racing in San Fran has been identified by RFF as brothers Jet (30) and Cord (29) McCoy, both professional rodeo cowboys originally from Tupelo, Oklahoma. Apparently Cord was in some bad accident (presumably related to rodeo) and recently "had his head put back together".
I guess the accident happened September 26, 2004.
McCoy was thrown off Beutler and Son's Cheap Thrills in the saddle bronc riding. The horse's hoofs struck the left side of McCoy's head in midair, knkocking him out before he hit the ground. This type of injury isn't uncommon in rodeo, but few people were aware of how serious this one was. "The medics were slow getting out there," said Mike Johnson, a fellow saddle-bronc contestant. "Cord's brother Jet ran out there and was yelling at them to hurry up. Cord was just lying there bleeding. We thought he was dead." Cord McCoy was taken to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center where doctors performed surgery within hours of the accident. The horseshoe-shaped wound caved in his skull and put pressure on his brain. "First, they scalped me," said the 5-foot-10 inch cowboy. "Then, they were actually able to pull the skull off my brain, like popping out a dent in a Coke can, and drilled a hole to relieve the pressure from the swelling."
Taken from here
From RFF, an "early Christmas present": DAN AND JORDAN PIOUS. BROTHERS FROM BARRINGTON, RHODE ISLAND. Dan. 24. Financial Advisor. Graduated from University of Hartford in 2007. Now living in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Jordan. 22. Consultant. Graduated from Emory University (with high distinction from Goizueta Business School) in Spring 2009. Now living in Atlanta, Georgia. Jordan is gay, and is a fan of both Survivor and Amazing Race. He was in a fraternity (Sigma Phi Epsilon) at Emory. Also notice that Emory's colors are gold and blue, which may explain the colors that the team is wearing on the Race. The Pious brothers are Jewish. Jordan is on the left, Dan on the right. Proposal at the finish line, perhaps?
Oy, if she makes it to the end, they better have a ton of incredibly likable teams for me to stay interested and not get completely annoyed.
Considering i am willing to be you dont personally know her, i think you should give her a chance. Alot of people get nervous under pressure and say much worse things than she said. Now she may be a complete *******, but i think people should give her a chance. Considering they make it far, and get engaged maybe they will be very likable.

Considering they make it far, and get engaged maybe they will be very likable.
Very true, but sadly I am also willing to bet that she is not going on this to prove that she is really a Rhodes Scholar with bad stage fright, but to most likely play up her "dumb blonde pageant queen" stereotype and stretch out the rest of her 15 minutes. But hey, if she proves me wrong then I'll give her credit where it's due. Also, isn't her bf like 10 years older than her and she is only 19? A little young to get engaged and to someone quite a bit older than you? I guess a million bucks could sweeten the deal though...
RFF's now officially spoiled all of the teams. First, the father-daughter team of Steven (57) and Allison "Allie" (23) Smith from Encinitas, California. Steve is a third base coach for what seems to have been the Phillies in 2008 and the Indians. They were spotted in Penang. Next is the married African-American couple of Dana (39) and Adrian (40) Davis from Arlington, Texas. Adrian is a realtor, and Dana is a marketing manager. They have three teenage kids. They were spotted in Puerto Vallarta (Elimination Station location this season) with Jordan and Jeff, so are one of the first 5 or 6 teams out. Then there is the grandmother-granddaughter team of Josephine "Jody" Kelly (71) and Shannon Foster (22) from Round Rock, Texas, photographed in Chile at the check-in mat. Jody will be the oldest racer ever. Monique is an attorney and co-founder of Momsextraordinaire. Shawne is the co-founder of a marketing company in DC. They were photographed at SFO with Jordan/Jeff, so are believed to be one of the first five/six out. They've been married for 11 years and have 2 kids. They co-founded the South Bay Youth Sports league. These guys were spotted at SFO with Jordan/Jeff, Jody, and the mompreneurs, so they are one of the first five/six out. Carol is a realtor and Brandy is a hair and make-up artist. Carol was formerly on the board of directors for GLAAD. They were most recently spotted in Singapore.
