I feel so old when people say "this season might be the best i've seen so far"...
I still remember New Orleans like it was yesterday... Those were good seasons!
Not sure if your comment was like an answer at my statement but i will explain myself.
coming from my own point of view, 15 year old, living in Holland i've only been able to watch RW sydney, hollywood, brooklyn and cancun.
And honestly, doesnt this season (besides brooklyn) look better than the seasons i've mentioned above?

New Orleans was a good season. I think Michael might be a lot like Danny Roberts.
is Andrew related to Ryan? cause my sister walked in about halfway through and asked when Ryan got out of the army and I had to explain that this was a diffeent person
They do have some of the same goofy mannerisms. BTW, Ryan is all but home now.
I think that Bronne tried way harder then Andrew did to be funny. The only thing I found funny about Bronne is when he made out with that mother. (By the way they should have played that mother lover song when he did that)
I remember Bronne bragging about making out with the mom and saying, 'who does that?!', and thinking 'who doesn't make out with a mother? how do they become mothers in the first place.'
Some people will probably get mad at me for this, but oh well:
I find Andrew to be rather annoying already. I read a while ago that someone said "Whenever the show has someone funny on it, they say they're either trying too hard or are trying to be like Bronne and Isaac." Well, I noticed something: Bronne and Isaac were naturally funny, they weren't trying to make others laugh or putting themselves out there [too far].. They were just being themselves and it happened to be funny. They were naturally "out there" and "different" and "funny".. Andrew, in my opinion, might be seen as [by the end of the season] naturally annoying. I hope not though.
Well, this is what I think. Thoughts?
i totally agree!
From the first Aftershow, it seemed like there was some sexual tension between Ty and Ashley. I wonder if anything happens between them later on in the season.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I must say, I appreciate that you state yours as your thoughts instead of as fact!
I can tell you from personal experience, Andrew isn't 'trying' to be funny, or to be like anyone else. He is a lighthearted, comical person who doesn't have a filter, and 9 times out of 10 is joking or b/s-ing.
Keep in mind that editing is key in developing characters/personas and tends to exaggerate qualities for each cast mate.
I can see how a large number of people are finding him annoying, because that is the majority of what is being shown.
Ooohhh I wish I could spill some things for everyone, but its much more exciting to watch it unfold on TV. Everyone will find out soon enough exactly what happened with Andrew & the paramedics...

I finally saw the show tonight! I admit I was a little distracted tonight while the show was on, so will watch it more closely when they show it again this week, so take what I say, here, with that in mind.
I think maybe some people might be getting the "annoying" vibe with Andrew because in the first show, they showed him wearing a panda hat, wearing silly glasses, goofing off, while many of the other cast members were talking about some pretty serious subjects. Perhaps the hat/glasses/silliness may come off as "affected"? I didn't think so, though. Andrew reminds me so much of many of the guys in my family, and of a good friend of mine from college, from what I've seen, so far. He even looks like the college friend! He just seems like a total goofball, which is what I'm used to, and I'm a goofball, myself, so I have no room to judge! So, I like him.
In fact, despite knowing a few things about a couple of the castmembers (okay, one in particular) from reading things here and on Twitter, I think all the cast comes off as pretty likeable from the first episode. Things got a little tense with the discussion about religion, and the tension with Ty and Ashley, but the guys, at least, ended up handling their differences well. But things turn on a dime with this show, so who knows...
It's always interesting to compare first impressions with final impressions on this series. In Cancun, I didn't like Ayiiia at all at the beginning, or Joey, but by the end, I loved both of them! (I think I may be in the minority for Joey).
I'm wondering how the editing will play out this time around. Seems like a very well-rounded cast. I'm excited for this season!
IKR!!! He should go back to Africa America!
not funny.
I am aware of the "joke" from the show but I found it very offensive and not funny at all.
They had larger flags of the states that were behind them because I recognized California besides those they had little flags of a bunch of countries. Mike even made a comment about it saying "I guess we are going to learn all of those".
They were state flags, not national flags. I caught Arizona, Idaho, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Mississippi to name a few.
not funny.

Exactly. It's not funny and Andrew isn't funny saying it. That's the sarcasm portion of the evening.
I liked the episode. I like the whole cast so far (Andrew does seem a little over the top, but it didn't bother me as much as it seemed to bother a lot of others on here).
Ashley annoyed me a little bit with being annoyed with Callie for not exactly knowing where she stands politically. Um, Ashley, that's normal for someone Callie's age. And also, here's how it appeared to go down. Callie gets excited because Reagan is the President on her wall. Ashley goes "Oh...you're Republican?" It seemed judgmental on her part from the get-go, so Callie was probably taken back by it and just said "well, for now." I'd assume Callie almost felt attacked at that moment a little bit or slightly made fun of, so she wasn't very comfortable with the topic to begin with. She doesn't seem like an argumentative person at all.
I really want to like Ashley because I think she's going to be shown a lot. But I'm really worried she's going to look hypocritical later on in the season. She got really offended by Ty disagreeing with her about religion and just wanted him to shut up about it when she was around. Will she hold her tongue if someone asks her to stop talking about politics around them if they disagree? I have a strong feeling there's going to be some hypocrisy going on.
Yeah, Sorry about that one I looked into it and really the New Mexican flag was the one that was throwing me off the full yellow, with the red symbol in the middle. That is my bad.
I'm no way a racist at all, but I don't understand how people can take offense to racist jokes and such. Everyone gets made fun of for different reasons, and this doesn't even have to deal with one specific person, it's a stereotype which is usually completely wrong, so it doesn't even matter unlike jokes about a specific person. People need to get thicker skins and stop crying about people being racist and they also need to stop crying racist for everything little thing they can.
I really enjoyed the premiere and think I'll like the entire season already, although I was a little disappointed by the way Ty was trying to talk about God not existing and the whole virgin Mary thing. But its just the first episode.
I thought it was very hypocritical of Ty to not be willing to listen to Mike and Ashley's points of view while being so forceful with his own.
I hope he steps it up over the season because what I've seen from him so far...I'm not liking.
Ty is an angry young man. Apparently he had a tough start at life and it will take him some time to resolve his feelings about his spiritual beliefs. He can't be much older than 21-22, right? So he's still fairly immature and will soon begin to see how his behavior affects other people. He may have even winced a bit while watching the conflict on tv.
My take on the cast
Ashley-She annoys me for some reason
Callie-Love her so far
Erika-Buetiful Voice,Sorta reminds me of Bri in the way she talks
Emily-Fun,Seems crazy and ready to let loose
Andrew-Ticking time bomb mad creepy
*******
Mike-There something strange about him
Josh-I like him already,Seems chill and cool
I like how they generally tried to show everyone.
I loved the premiere it reminded me of an older season. I like drama about real things like religion. Emily is alot of fun, someone I would want to hang out with. Josh & Erika annoy me, and I don't think Erika is that great of a singer. I like Andrew cause he's not your typical RWer he's weird & I like that.
