Amazing Race 16: Ep. 1 - Nanna Is Kickin' Your Butt
"Nanna is Kickin' Your Butt" Eleven teams depart Los Angeles for Chile, where Racers find themselves dangling 120 feet in the air, battling exhaustion and their fear of heights in order to stay alive in the game, and one team discovers that Brazilian currency will not get them very far in Chile. I will be watching this season. That preview during Survivor grabbed my attention.
So many good shows started back up this month.
I'm excited. This is my second favorite reality show behind Survivor.
Lovin' Nanna's fanny pack.
This is probably going to be the most amusing part EVER. I lived in LA for 2 years and could tell you nothing about public transportation.
Go Jeff and Jordan! Rooting for them to win it.
Brent is a model? He is not attractive. Oh Jordan...CHINA? Really?
Caitlin is never going to live that down. Ever. The one guy (Jordan I think?) does a pretty spot-on impression.
Yeah that "model" is not easy on the eyes at all. Haven't picked out my team yet.
Jeff and Jordan ftw:D Caitie seems like she'll be nice, which is surprising! The cowboys seem...ummm....odd?
OK, the cowboys did not exchange their currency for Brazilian money. I don't think I have a favorite team.
We're going to China! Whooo hoo! Get me tickets to China!

I don't think I've ever EVER watched this show...ever. I might just have to check it out tonight, as it seems pretty popular (and it's on it's 16th season). :p
Joe looks like Jon Gosselin. o.o I love the grannie.

Dare I say it? Are Jeff and Jordan going to finish first??
Dare I say it? Are Jeff and Jordan going to finish first??
They caught some breaks this week. Just wait until they catch a flight to the wrong, continent. I think they are cute, but I don't see them going that far. Edit: Although, there are a lot of weak teams this year (which is not necessarily a bad thing) so who knows...
I'll be happy as long as Nanna isn't eliminated this early.
The detectives need to stop saying baby. It doesn't look good for the married couple.
"Look, I don't know what they are doing here" Classic.
Wah wah wah... I was hoping this week would be more dramatic in terms of the finish times. Hopefully next week is a little bit better!

Aaaaaand the "Undercover Detectives" team. Um, not anymore.
Brent is a model? He is not attractive. Oh Jordan...CHINA? Really?
I still can't believe she won Big Brother.
Andy as usual nails it...
I’m convinced producers cast the show to be an idiot edition, perhaps to give Jeff and Jordan a fighting chance.
Didn't I already say this (but in a nicer way?) :wink2:
Ah, it feels so good to see Jeff and Jordan on my TV again. I just love their dynamic together!!!
I have a feeling the lesbians are going to gey on my nerves...
I still can't believe she won Big Brother.
Me neither! Either way - Jeff and Jordan got me to watch my very first episode of TAR ever ;) So it looks like I'll be joining you for season....16! wow. I can't believe Jeff and Jordan were Team #1! But yeah, Jordan will eventually eff them up down the line. I can't believe she did the tight rope walk! I thought she was going to start crying and melt down! I like the granddaughter/grandma team a lot! The team that was eliminated mentioned that it could be a "non-elimination round"? What does that mean?
The team that was eliminated mentioned that it could be a "non-elimination round"? What does that mean?
A couple of times the last team to arrive isn't eliminated, but they have to do an extra task on the next leg as a penalty for being last.
Hahah I like Nana. I also like Jeff and Jordan... Jordan probably thinks they are going to China. She probably has no idea what country they are in. Her and Miss South Carolina on the same team? Africa and the Iraq ever where, like such as! hahahah Loved her speech! She is very smart. Definitely the Valedictorian!
It surprised me how well Jeff and Jordan did honestly. Hope they keep it up for a while because I don't think it'll quite be the same without them.
