What a load of ****. The game's not over yet, but clearly the US now knows that England is up and that they need to start applying more pressure.
Applying more pressure = bringing more people up on the attack = leaving less back on defense = opening themselves up for a counter attack.
And if that Algeria goal would have gone it, it would have been one of the best goals in the entire tournament. It was a beautiful hit.
I'm nervous...
Did that just really happen?
I was actually in the middle of typing my, "Why the World Cup is over (for me) and I am going back to watching baseball" manifesto...lol.

I had to clean frosting off the television because I threw a cupcake at it in the midst of my excitement. I'm lucky I didn't break my laptop, because I jumped up in such a hurry too...
Getting ready for today's game with a little mood music.
Loved you world cup. See you in four years.
Now back to our regularly scheduled baseball game...
Haha. Same here. Sayonara vuvuzelas! I won't miss you.
End of my Doctor Who marathon, here I come!
You have Doctor Who in America???
We get BBCA (or BBC America.) So, we get all the top quality shows like, "I am suffering with extra large breasts" and "I need to go to Amsterdam and work in a Hash Cafe." Yup, all the quality programming you get, we get.
That said, Doctor Who ran on (American) Public Broadcasting for years and years for as long as I can remember - until BBCA (I watched it on PBS in the late 80's.)
Edit: I just looked it up. It came to the US in the 70's and ran through the mid 90's on most PBS stations. It ran a bit longer on CBC.
Edit2: And yes, this is the [strike]football[/strike] soccer thread, but that sport is done now (Until 2014, right?) so we might as well fill the space with something productive. ;)
