Ryan: Yikes. If he's constantly been teased about being gay (not saying that he is gay or bi), then of course he'll have a stigma about it. Hell, as much as I love skinny jeans and as much as I wear them, I have a stigma about it because I hate the fact that people can clearly "tell" that I'm gay. Either way, I'm not going to constantly ***** about it, or be passive-aggressive.
Yes, you're not going to as angry about it because you actually are gay while Ryan repeatedly has told his roommates he is not, so it's a completely different situation. I don't see it as insecure that he get upset about his sexuality constantly being questioned by his roommates.
I see your point. If my being gay was constantly being brought up as an issue, then I would be annoyed. However, I still believe Ryan is being passive-aggressive. You can be as annoyed as you want about being labeled something you're not, but when you flip it as an insult, then use that to attack others (initially calling Preston a ***, and earlier saying that gays kissing him makes him want to kill himself...just going based on the editing) that's petty, it's immature and there's no excuse for it.
Based on the whole back-story about being teased, it is definitely some sort of insecurity on Ryan's part.
OK...so when the spoilers were coming out for this season, I thought what Preston did to Ryan's toothbrush was extremely immature and low. What Ryan did was no better.
I wonder if they happened right around the same time, or if one happened first once the other learned what happened. Damn editing.
Well to be honest, Preston did start it because he whipped his balls all over Ryan's underwear BEFORE Ryan refused to clean the house (This is based on editing) But I agree, Ryan was no better.
CGR bro! How can Mckenzie annoy you lol? Her beauty is blocking me from understanding what she is saying. It's like the teacher from Charlie Brown. Actually better reference, from the movie "Not Another Teen Movie." When the girl walks in a room, and everyone stops what they are doing, and just admire her beauty with the music in the background lol. That's how I feel about Mckenzie when she talks lol....that came across sort of weird :-/.
McKenzie is hot. Don't get me wrong, she is eye candy this season (as Eric I would assume is for the girls?) but there is something about her that annoys me. She's "innocent" and talks about people not having sex until they love eachother, but drinks and blacks out. I don't know She's hot,no doubt, but a little annoying.
Ryan is over dramatic and he talks about not being gay sooo much, that he has a complex about it. I think it is probably provoked from years of torment, because of his style and him being a hairdresser.
I really like Ashley! But of course we're not going to see much of her :-/ oh well.
I'm growing really tried of Ryan.. Honestly, I really am.
His comment (before the season premiere was about to air) saying "See how sucky all my roommates are this season!" (or something like that, paraphrasing here) really irked me and now it has me wondering:
-What did Eric do to you to get on your bad side? And Sahar and Ashley?
I don't know, I guess we'll see in time.

[strike]i wondered the same thing[/strike]
I wondered the same thing.
I enjoyed this episode. It was suspensful, but I knew what was going to happen. I kind of wish I didn't though because it would have been all the more interesting.
I am happy to know they didn't end this episode on a "To Be Continued..." because that would have upset me and I would of had to wait and I'm not one to wait...lol.
I'm sick of both Ryan and Preston though, but I absolutely love Jemmye (I though I would completely hate her). She cracks me up.
Its not right to use that word... ever.
One of the funnier moments in my life involved that word... my roommate Jr. year in college was gay (he didn't know I knew) and was trying to "come out" to me, while we were riding back to campus in a car with a couple of his friends (they didn't know I knew), after picking up some booze.
Poor guy was all nervous and telling me he had something to tell me... I played it off like - "yeah, yeah... I know... don't worry about it." He kept at it - "no... you don't... this is something I have to tell you... you don't know this."
With a completely straight face, I said something like "dude, don't worry. It's OK. You're a ***."
There was about 2 or 3 seconds of silence... his mouth wide open... then the whole car burst out laughing. I'm don't think any other word would've worked better or been more appropriate in that moment.
In anger... as a slur... no. In public... probably not a good idea. In some more or less private settings... I think it kind of works.
It's a lot easier than saying - "the embodiment of the effeminate stereotype of a homosexual man."
I have very similar drinking habits as Mckenzie. I black out very easily. I hate it! Sometimes I will have very few drinks, my friends will tell me I acted totally coherent, but I will wake up in the morning and be like "how did the night end?". It is scary and I know its a problem. But I don't really do much to fix it. I definitely can relate to Mckenzie and its going to be exciting to watch how this storyline goes for her.

If I had to guess, I'd say everyone got on his bad side after he found out they knew about the toothbrush incident and decided not to say anything to him, i.e. took Preston's side.
Wow. I forgot there were eight roommates this season.
Me too! At the end of last nights episode I sat there thinking, "Wow! They gave everyone almost even airtime tonight. Preston, Ryan, Jemmye, Knight and Ashlee. Oh wait.. Eric and Sahar were MIA."
Me too! At the end of last nights episode I sat there thinking, "Wow! They gave everyone almost even airtime tonight. Preston, Ryan, Jemmye, Knight and Ashlee. Oh wait.. Eric and Sahar were MIA."
I have seen most of all the episodes, and I missed the first half last night...I was watching when Preston was kicked out of the bar and saw Jemmye watching the game and talking to some girl and I was thinking who the eff is she...then I realized it was Sahar when I saw her and Eric kissing and he said something about her keeping her promise or something like that. I also had no clue what Ashlee's name was until I was reading this thread.
I think Ashlee might become the new Callie for me. With Callie I did not think I would like her that much in the beginning of the season, but she became my favorite in the end. It seems the same with Ashlee right now, I just love her :)
Last nights episode was awesome!! I really like this season!! Ok where to begin.
Whats up with Ryans obsession about proving he is not gay? What person gets so upset with someone calls them gay IF they are not. It just seems really stupid to me that he would get so upset over that. I thought it was crazy that the bouncer would not let Preston back in the bar. I do think it was because he was gay. Its unfortunate but I was glad Ashlee got him back in the club. Yay for the Saints!! Im sure that party was just non stop!! I liked seeing PReston and Ashlee do that radio thing. Thats exactly what I wanna do. When Ashlee said she loves to share and hear herself talk, I was like that is me all the way!! Kenzie probably should chill on that drinking so much. I mean blackouts are not a good look! and like Jemmyne said, not everyone is a nice guy. there are creepers! And then its back to Ryan v Preston. I think both of them should not have done what they did. They both clearly do not like each other but peeing on a toothbrush and wiping someones *** with cigarettes is kinda childish. But I cannot wait to see it unfold
That's what I thought too! Because Preston said he didn't know he was underage. Too funny that Preston slept with him but had no idea of his age :laugh1:
I like the Intro a lot this season "We in New Orleans BAAbbyy" then the lady reveals her face. I like it a lot. It's the B2NY intro mixed with Chicago intro.
Maxwell (I think that was Presto's "underage" friends name) was 20. So he technically isn't underage to smoke, have sex or make decisions on his own, he is just underage for the bar.
I once went to a bar with friends, and a friend of a friend started making out with his BF. it was a regular bar, but the bartender came over and said please don't kiss in public. I think the bouncer might have felt a bit uncomfortable with Preston kissing Maxwell.

Since we haven't seen Preston do any of these pranks, Preston could have been messing with his mind and Ryan probably took it and ran with it and that's probably where these prank wars begin. But who knows.
Btw. McKenzie was so freaking cute to me when she was drunk sitting at the table alone, the rest of the guys were on the coach talking about her and she just said "What!?!" (I'm not sure if people remember that part, but I just found that oddly cute)

Yeah, but whatever the case was, he clearly started it.
I think MTV needs to re-think some of their policies. I would much rather get punched by someone than have something I put in my mouth get peed on or put in someones ***.

I would think that they have a responsibility to prevent cast members from using "unclean" objects when the crew have knowledge of it, which for all we know, they may have done. While there was a video suggesting Ryan used the toothbrush, it could have been sterilized in water, or a new brush head replacement could be bought for $10. Preston's cigs may have been replaced as well before using the uh, butt cigs.
Also the roommates shown reaction wasn't good either, either they are weak-willed, or just as wrong as the perpetrator if they let Ryan use his toothbrush. Golden rule, kids.

That is true but who would've thought that Ryan would get a rare/fatal throat infection.
Preston should have gotten in trouble/kicked out for that. But then again, that would be unfair to just kick him out and not Ryan.
I don't think Preston was joking because he does seem to go for the juggular every time when he's in a fight. At least with Ryan he does. It wouldn't surprise me that he would do that. Although he is seemed as "holier than thou" in some peoples' eyes.

I wasn't very clear. I'm saying that the production people may have through one way or another had the items replaced, either by informing the cast or by stealth replacing them. I don't think we know whether or not either of them got used.
And.....if they didn't then the production crew is almost as bad as Ryan and Preston (in my opinion).
Peeing on someone's toothbrush is very dangerous. Urine (Uria which the body excretes) carry's a lot of different toxins, which can be harmful. On Big Brother the producers made someone tell the other person he put his toothbrush in the toilet (one of the earlier seasons).
I think Ryan should have bee informed. I am not pro Preston or pro Ryan, so I don't care, I am just thinking about ones health and sanitation.

Is it true that if you get stung by a jellyfish, it's best to have someone pee on it to relieve the pain or w/e?
And I totally remember that incident on BB2. That dirty broad Shannon cleaned the inside of the toilet w/ that sexy ********* Hardy's toothbrush :p
