1. Don't ever call me kiddo again. I'm pretty sure I'm older than you.
2. Nowhere in my post did I mention "almost". You asked the difference between the FMers and people picked off the street; I responded that they made it quite far in the casting process and therefore were not picked off the street.
3. This has also been answered (quite a few times), but Kenny was supposed to be on RW Austin. I don't know about Evan.
Man I can't believe i'm saying this but...given how Wes and Kenny don't like each other now it would be interesting if Kenny was casted on Austin and how those two would've been to each other. And Kenny would've been an actual alumni.
And also the Fresh Meat may have not been picked off the street but honestly the fact that they were almost casted on the real world just makes them Real World Rejects and when you look at the people they cast nowadays that's just sad.

Molds13 FTW !! That was ownage, plain and simple.

I'm not so sure that would have happened...
It is my understanding (and I could be wrong, this was discussed forever ago) that Wes actually replaced Kenny after he dropped out at the last minute.
If this is true, technically, Kenny isn't actually a reject...he rejected them.

yeah I think I rmember Kenny saying something to that effect on the Fresh Meat aftershow that Blair used to host.
He actually didn't say that at all. I just watched it. He said he got a call that said he didn't make it, then he got a call asking if he wanted to do the challenge.
I don't know, Personally I don't see how Danny having his pick of either decided on Melinda. I guess I couldn't see somebody else choosing Melinda either.

Oh so I was right..he's a RW Reject.
And I was gonna say something about the Fresh Meat 2 marathon on VH1 but I see RW56 beat me to it.
Oh so I was right..he's a RW Reject.
You actually agreed with me, so you weren't right.
But now that you've said it 2394823946 times, I totally agree with you. How could I have been so blind? Yes, he is a reject. He's totally a reject. They're all rejects.
"I'm the idiot, you're the *******, and we're all losers."

Eye of the beholder and all that good stuff. I agree though, Johanna > Melinda.
However, Danny and Melinda did meet first and they really did seem to have instant chemistry. They're both grating so it's a match made in heaven (or was...). I actually did like both for the most part during Austin though.
And yankeegurl, I kind of doubt that is true but it very well could be. He did go into 5 Exiles and 3 Ruins, but only 1 Duel I think? And I don't remember how many FM2 exiles. Then again Derrick also went into 5 Gauntlets, and a few other Infernos/Duels/Exiles, etc.
I was just watching the FM2 reruns on VH1 and Wes said "I've been in more eliminations than anyone else ever" or something like that. Is this true?
By Fresh Meat 2? I think so.
5 Exiles (FM1)
1 Duel (Duel)
3 Ruins (The Ruins)
That's quite a lot.

Well. He does but the way he said it... was like if he blew out everybody by a good amount of Elimination Rounds.
List of elimination rounders:
1. Wes - (10)
2. Derrick - (9)
3. Aneesa - (9)
4. Katie - (7)
5. Jenn - (7)
6. Brad - (6)
7. Evelyn - (6)
8. Landon - (6)
Who else am I missing? Did I make some mistakes?

Thanks to those exiles he does have quite the record (8-2). I'm a Wes apologist however, so a bit biased.

I'm curious why you don't make one yourself?? Everyone's opinions will be different on this topic.

What do you mean? Like best competitors or just overall best challengers? I would actually be willing to make a list since I have a week before school and I just finished work, so I have plenty of time haha. I would probably make it as unbiased as I possibly could. I can't stand people like Evan and Kenny, but it would be hard not to include them, for example.
I'd also be willing to take votes from people via PM if enough people were interested. That way we could find out Vevmo's 50 favorite challengers... My only issue with that is that I am under the impression that many members have not seen most of the older seasons, but I could be wrong.

50? Not even close. There are plenty of people who are irrelevant. More like 20 to 1. And I think he means best challengers as in entertainment, right?

I know. It's been argued on here plenty of times who is the best competitor and even if some of those people can be considered a competitor. I just think if you make the list, no matter what, someone will try and argue with you.
If you do make the list, I think you should at least include all the people that have at least won two challenges or more, but anyone else is fair game and should fill in holes if there were to be any. Just throwing in my two cents :D
Top 50 Challengers would be a difficult list to make...since everyone has their opinions but also their criteria. I think mine would be a simple rubric of competitive skill and entertainment value, plus bonus points for the nicer people. That would put guys like Abram, Mark, Landon, CT, Derrick, Timmy, Mike the Miz, and Brad near the top, and girls like Rachel, Aneesa (huge bonus for her elimination round record), Katie (sheer entertainment), Coral. 50 I don't know if I could do, but 25 is a bit more feasible.
You'll notice I'm not taking into account the following things:
-Gift-wrapped Challenge victories thanks to lopsided teams and unfair formats
-Winning a Challenge despite doing absolutely nothing noteworthy
-Throwing teammates under the bus purely out of spite
-Not protecting people you promised to protect for the sole purpose of saving your own ***
-Trying to make deals with everyone in the house to prevent yourself from going into an elimination round, even if it involves screwing over good friends
-Incessantly talking about how "beautiful" you think you are
-Declaring yourself to be the strongest guy on a certain season when you barely cracked the top 5
-Throwing missions to ensure that you can stick around and drink wine with your best friend for the next 2 days, despite the fact that you're ******* off the rest of your team, who are trying to play a fair game
-Talking about being "undefeated" in elimination rounds when you'd only done one of them before you made that statement
-Getting all up in someone's face before a mission and thinking you're all tough, then being too much of a chicken**** to call them into the Duel with you
-Yelling all the time for no reason trying to try to make yourself intimidating and/or garner camera time
-Trying way too hard to live up to your "Bad ***" billing when the only reason you got put on the Bad ***** team in the first place was because you were doing the aforementioned yelling for no reason on the Challenge prior
So apologies to Kenny, Johnny, Wes, Susie, Cara, Jenn, and Tina...you don't make my Top 25.

Wow, you are taking a ton of things into account, even though you said it would be a simple rubric. I understand where you're coming from completely. It is really hard to determine who the best challengers are. As much as I hate Wes though, I think you should put him up there. Probably not high on up there, but at least somewhere on your list. I'm shocked I even mentioned it. I do like Kenny and Johnny, but it is your list and I'm curious what you are going to do with it, considering your rules.
It is a simple rubric. Are you an above average competitor? Are you funny/entertaining? Are you a decent person? That's all I really am looking for out of these people. That list I put in the second half of my post was basically a guidelines for disqualification haha. But who cares anyway, I don't even think I'm going to make a list. I don't know if any of us should, because it's just going to turn into some silly exchanges along the lines of:
"How can you have A and B on here but not C"
"I put A over C because A won more Challenges"
"Yeah but C won more elimination rounds and could probably beat A in a 1-on-1"
"And what about X? How is X not on your list? And for that matter where are Q, V, and N?"
"Well I didn't start watching the Challenges until the first Fresh Meat, so I don't know a lot about the older castmembers..."
You get my point. I know I can't stop any of you from doing it, but I'm not going to compile a list, since I'd rather not go back and forth with people as to why my list is better than theirs. I've got an idea for something else on this thread though, perhaps I'll bring it up when I wake up tomorrow.

I'm liking the way you think. That's probably the main reason I don't want to make a list because I know tons of people would ***** about it. And I happen to be a JEK fan and that will just start another WWIII argument on why I like them. Good thinking for not making the list :D
I love em' all I don't discriminate even if you're from a show called Fresh Meat or a week long special for Spring Break. I still love you. Bahahahaha.
