Yeah.. this season is different from others already. The trailers and promos are non-spoilerish and dosen't really show many of the finals at all.
Also MTV is putting different clips together to not make anything obvious. Everyone please give MTV a huge two thumbs up.

Tatertots, I concur with everything you said. Also I would like to add that I'm happy Johnny was sent home. Why? He was mean to Tyler, He's arrogant, he's hid behind his Alliances, He's mean to others, and did I mention Johnny's a JERK. I think Tyler is a pretty nice guy and he deserves to win. Tyler worked his butt off on this challenge and he got along with Sarah well. Nonetheless, cheers to CT coming in and saving the day.:girl_dance:

I think from what we're seeing, the rookies are always thrown in first.... SO the question is, how did Brandon get thrown in 4 times and Chet none? I think it's a valid speculation to wonder if Chet was "in" with someone or some ppl.

Well Brandon is just as much (more actually) a rookie as Chet is. Chet has also been in the RW/RR circuit for over a year now, whereas Brandon has only been in it since earlier this year.

My issue is when people state speculation as fact. Yes, it definitely seems suspect that Brandon goes in so many times, and it leads one to wonder what was going on there. I agree with that. My problem is the statement "Chet is no better than Brandon" states as fact something that we have no way of knowing. For all we know, Brandon does something that hurts the team. We don't know, either way. To me, it would make much more sense to say, "In my opinion, Chet is not a better athlete than Brandon, so I wonder what happened there" or at least put some qualifier on it that shows that you do not believe you are prescient.

Technically, Chet's still a rookie, but on his next challenge he'll be a Vet :wink:

I think it really comes out to how long Chet's been on the Real World circuit (if you can call it that) and what not.
Just a few anecdotal situations like Shauvon saying she was partying and hanging out with CT well before the Duel 2. Or there being pictures of Emilee hanging out with a bunch of other Boston alumni well before her first challenge took place. It's clear these people hang out with each other while they're still doing bar tours and what not.
I don't think Chet's necessarily in with Brad and Tori, but more Paula, Tyler, and Dunbar (that's just a gut feeling). I'm sure the red team probably loved Brandon and there's a good chance he'll outperform a lot of these guys on every single challenge, but we know how this (the elimination spoilers) plays out, socially he was the odd man out, no matter how likable he was. Just like Brad on BOTSexes2, being a good guy and performing excellently isn't enough when it comes down to four friends who said they'd look out for each other. I mean just look at how annoyed Chet was that someone even mentioned him in the nominations, to me it's obvious he's being looked after in his own team.

Chet is good friends with Dunbar, Dunbar is good friends with Paula, and Tyler is good friends with Paula. All of them 4 mentioned get along well with each other and come together like a chain link of friends. Brad and Tori are more Neutral when it comes to Chet.

Oh, no I was only talking about Chet because the other poster only stated that they considered Chet a rookie, so I was just letting them know that he was a vet next challenge.
Sorry for the double post, but I saw the preview for the next episode with Chet "voting in Mandi" and it really doesn't mean anything. All you see is him saying "I've gotta choose Mandi", how do we know, right before that, he didn't say "Hmm who would I rather have here, Camila or Mandi? I've gotta choose Mandi". Editing can make you fall for anything. We have no idea how he votes yet.

I was unaware that Chet was friends with Dunbar. Regardless, he no more than a vote. His injury (and I wish injury on no one in these challenges) is the only thing that saved him from realizing "the depth of his friendship" with Dunbar, Paula, and company.

If I remember correctly, TJ did not announce how many votes people received, just that they received votes. He could have voted the exact same way as Mandi and/or Brandon and no one would have known the difference.

Tori was fine with Jillian going in three times on the Gauntlet 3 and was pushing for fourth for Melinda's gauntlet.
To me I see it as upholding an agreement. If you come on this game with allegiances and previous friendships to stand by, I think it's a pretty stand up thing to do to uphold those for the length of the game. I think the red nucleus (Brad, Tori, Dunbar, Paula, Tyler, and Melinda) were very clear that they would have each others backs as far as elimination rounds. To me it's not cowardly to avoid elimination rounds as they're almost always huge x-factors, and upsets very frequently occur.
As far as Brandon's performance. If he has the same attitude each time then he'll quickly become one of my favorites. I liked the way he didn't throw Katelyn under the bus during FM2, and came on this challenge ready to give it his all. I hope he's one of the future challenge regulars from what I've seen so far.

This whole secret voting thing is a ruse for alliances to control the block without resistance. However, it is what it is!
Thats what makes it better..cause you dont even know if you can trust your alliance, cause they can say "sure ill vote this way" but instead vote another way and you'd never know.

Are we gonna dance that saaaammme dance again with Jillian? Jillian went in 3x because the opposing team voted her in twice, and the team agreement was whoever got voted in by the opposing team got to choose thei opponent. When Janelle was voted in by the Vets, in an act of stupidity she chose to face off against Jillian as opposed for going after Rachel ...... the whole team agreed to that scenario.
As for Brandon, going in 4 times ............... tells me one thing, that he won 3 times ..... more than anyone in the history of 1 challange sans Sarah. He will have and already has earned my respect whether he shows frustration or not. I think it is asking alot when your team has it out for you to stay ........ uh calm!
If you check out the latest Dailie, I think it reveals who the girl Ty supposedly hit is and from what I can see it will cause a lot of drama between the teams.
