NBA Season: 2010 - 2011
Since the NBA starts in 10 days, I thought it would be cool to start the 2010 - 2011 thread.
Finals: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Miami Heat Lakers got it in 6, winning 4 to 2. Heat will need to call Dwight Howard and Chris Paul to add to their lineup.
The Miami Heat are going to win the whole uhh...ya know .... uhhh shabang (there ya go) this season. Come back and read this post in about 2 years when the season/playoffs finally ends.
You know what, you don't know much about the NBA do you? Reasons 1. You don't know what the name of the championship is it's the NBA Finals just to let you know. 2. Like molds said it is only 8 months, not 2 years. 3. Miami isn't winning it this year, the Lakers are more stacked with players like Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Artest, Fisher, Blake, and Barnes. Kobe gaurds Wade. Artest/Barnes guards Lebron. Odom/Bynum/Gasol guards Bosh. We got great defense, great offense, a great coach, and a whole team which is something Miami doesn't have. Miami only has one of those = great offense. Other than the 3, all they have is Haslem, Miller, Ilgauskas, House, and Chalmers.. who aren't even that good. There just average. Then the rest of the team is horrible.
I don't think the Heat can get by Boston in the playoffs. In my opinion, it doesn't matter how good 3 players are, you need 5 good players to win a championship.
This was my idea at first, cause Boston is a great physical team. Since I see you live in Chicago, you are lucky to be a Bull fan cause they look pretty good this year. Boozer is injured though, hopefully he can get back with a jam.

While I think they could be a good team, they don't match up well at all with the Celtics, and while I don't think Miami will win the championship, their big 3 might be a little too talented for the Bulls. I am guessing by your last post that you are a lakers fan? must be nice

The NBA this year has many tough teams, well in Dime sport's rankings you guys are ranked fourth right in bottom of Orlando, Miami, and L.A. The only team you guys will have trouble with in the east are Boston, Miami, Orlando, and Milwaulkee (which you can get past by).

In the 2009 -10 season you averaged 5.2 points per game and 6.2 RPG, while getting 25 good minutes. You suck and you weigh over 300 pounds.. you shouldn't be in the NBA, you should be in Biggest Loser or a weight-loss show. Signed by: The Lakers roster

OK kids...enough with the speaking for everyone else. Signed: Me
Dear Lakers Legacy and Perkins, In 5 years, when Kobe, Lamar, Ron, D-Fish, Gasol, KG, Allen, and Pierce are all retired, the baby bulls are going to dominate
Just pray that we don't kick your ***** this year like we do everytime.
Haha, kids these days... 1959 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–0 1962 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–3 1963 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–2 1965 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–1 1966 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–3 1968 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–2 1969 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–3 1984 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–3 1985 NBA Finals Lakers won, 4–2 1987 NBA Finals Lakers won, 4–2 2008 NBA Finals Celtics won, 4–2 2010 NBA Finals Lakers won, 4–3 Celtics are 9-3 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA finals and are 152–120 (.559) in the regular season against the Los Angeles Lakers as a franchise. I just wanted to get the facts out there before things got out of hand around here...
Perkins was the Celtics best rebounder, by far. Watch game 7, the only reason the Lakers were in the game was because of their rebounding, yeah they outrebounded Boston all series, but with Perkins it was no where near as bad. With as big and strong, and as good defensively Perkins is, there's no way Gasol would of got as many 2nd chance points in that game. Perkins is Boston's bruiser, bruiser's make big deals in the playoffs, if Perkins didn't matter to Boston, then Bynum didn't matter to LA in 08.

What I meant was of the last 10 years in the NBA, not the whole history in-between the teams, just this past decade. So what team are you a fan of in the NBA?

No?

So you're not a Boston fan. Lakers all the way!
