I'm not too sure if it's going to be that bad. I am looking forward to the new judges, maybe it will be good.
I know for a fact I'll watch the auditions because it's always a great laugh, but after that, I've yet to decide if I'm going to put up with it. I miss Simon already :(
I guess this will be the penultimate season.

I agree with Bacchus. I doubt I'll even give this a watch at all. This show was past its prime years ago. It should have been done already. It's never going to be what it was. The end. :rip:
I'll probably do like always and watch the auditions and then come back for the Final 8 or so

I honestly don't feel like watching AI for two hours. I'll wait until the top 12 and then I might give it a chance.

I've always only enjoyed watching the first few weeks... but it is really predictable and played out now. I don't think I'm going to waste my time with this show anymore either.
I am actually loving this premiere! I'm rooting for my North Carolina girl! :)

Loved everything! Awesome chemistry between the judges, and so far loved every idol contestant!
I am kind of surprised that I enjoyed it. It is a new vibe, but it works.

Going back to 3 only judges combined with the dynamics of the Steven, J.LO, and Randy seems to have breathed a new life into the series. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season, it seems like they have some pretty amazing talents :)

Ok. I caved. I watched it.. I really enjoyed it. I didn't think I would.. but wow. I cried. Did anyone else cry?
Ok. I caved. I watched it.. I really enjoyed it. I didn't think I would.. but wow. I cried. Did anyone else cry?
It was really sad at times. I am so glad that people are liking it. It feels like a breath of fresh air with Jlo and Steve. I think they were the only 2 who could have done this.
Ok. I caved. I watched it.. I really enjoyed it. I didn't think I would.. but wow. I cried. Did anyone else cry?
I'm an emotional mess and only caught part of it at the beginning then changed back by the end and I cried in the last 10 minutes I caught. In the parts that I saw it was quite enjoyable.
I thought Steven Tyler was quite creepy. He was hitting on every girl that came in the room practically. He even said the 16 year old was showing just enough leg! It was just really bizarre. I liked Jennifer Lopez, though. She's going to have to learn how to say "No" eventually. Randy was the same, dog.
I watched for about 10 minutes. It just isn't the same... The stories are there. The characters are there and even some of the fun is there. However, the enforcer is missing and that basically rips out a big part of what this show was always about. The part I really enjoyed. The devastating commentary. With Simon leaving, they should have at least tried to score themselves a poor mans Simon - a.k.a. Piers Morgan.
Thia Megia auditioned and made it to Hollywood. She was also in the Top 24 on America's Got Talent.
I'm enjoying this season more than any of the others since season 5. It's just feels more like the way the show started out. To be honest, I don't miss Simon nearly as much as I thought I would. I actually don't miss him at all!

Yes! I'm not missing Simon at all, and he was my favorite! Somethine happen that made a spark, or something special about this season, because it's been a while since I've been this excited! So much potential, and I think it's because they went back to what's important & that's the contestant! BTW I cried about the last guy tonight, and his girlfriend! God bless her, life can change in any moment!
Nathaniel Jones is obviously the front runner. "No my dad's not a hippie! Hippies believe in ::whispers:: sex."

Chris Medina's story really touched my heart. I really want him to make it... and make his gf proud. (Although I have a feeling she's probably already more than proud.) God bless them.
i'm in the camp that isn't missing Simon as well and these last 2 nights Randy's been a jerk. But I still think he's cool. However I feel they overhyped Medina's story. The story was way better than his singing to be honest. And I loved that girl who came in singing the bridge to Mariah Carey's Obsessed. That was tight but boy was she bad. I think its gonna be close between the black girl raised by the white family, the 16 year old kid (twin) living in the shelter, and the deep voiced country 16 year old. But watch them all be gone after week 1.
The guy in NY with the twin is still my pick for winner. I also have high hopes for the woman that had the daughter who has hearing problems. :)
Thats who I meant as well though I said kid since he was 16 at he time of his audition. I think he'll make it through. Jordan Dorsey said he is still in the running but I'm going to wait and see about that as he said he performed 8 more times since his new orleans audition, lol.
I love Lauren who auditioned last on the Nashville Auditions! I see her going very far!

I agree, Lauren is my pick to win.

Chris Medina made it!! Yay!!!!
Anyone know if Thia Megia is still in? I didn't watch much of Hollywood week, but she was my favorite from the auditions and I didn't see her tonight (though I missed some of the episode).
