No, when Heather asked him if she should be tested, he pointed out that the industry is clean. While not 100% accurate, I have read elsewhere that these folks have to get tested for STD's on a monthly basis. I have heard of stars getting HIV/AIDS sporadically but it usually seems to be from their private activities.
If he doesn't have an STD.. then what's the big deal? I really hope she didn't have unprotected *** with him or anyone else. I mean, this show is notorious for having ******, seemingly dirty cast members. Everyone is banging everyone else.. and they're all upset because Dustin got paid to let people watch. lol Did he even have *** on screen? I thought he just walked around naked... Maybe Aneesa should have been booted from Chicago. I think this entire subject is hypocritical. The Real World shoves smutty, promiscuous *** in our faces.. and now this guy is being chastised for pretending to be just that. This show has become nothing but a bunch of strangers getting drunk and sleeping with each other (and everyone else they cross paths with)..
If he doesn't have an STD.. then what's the big deal?
Unfortunately, people lie all the time and the risk isn't worth finding out.

"I'm not homophobic; I have friends who are gay..." (roll eyes, shake head)
This in itself was homophobic of Heather to ask.
Uh, no, I disagree. She had every right to ask that considering it would directly affect her.

But he said he was naked with the guys on the one site, but did absolutely nothing ***ual. Heather asked if he ever had *** or had or receive oral and he said on the mother site with the same guy's company who did the first one, he said he gave oral pleasure. So i imagine that would be on camera or else why was he doing it? If i understood it correct. But than he told Leroy they never did anything ***ual so he kept kind of changing what he said. Probably depending on who he was talking to.
Unfortunately, people lie all the time and the risk isn't worth finding out.
Which is exactly why you should never have unprotected *** with ANYONE. I'd bet money I know people who have had more ***ual partners than that guy. (Maybe even a few former cast members) That act of letting someone watch, or get paid to do so.. does not make one more likely to have an STD. (as far as I know anyway.. lol) Logically, it seems like it would make him less likely.. What I am failing to understand is what is the difference between this guy and all the other ****** McSluts of seasons past? "The difference between and ****** and a ho ain't nothin' but a fee." -Salt N Pepa
This show made me so extremely uncomfortable. I have a few points to make: 1) Heather is a HYPOCRITE. Heather is openly "***ually open". She has been with other girls. She admits to being attracted to girls. There are some rumors suggesting she is DATING a girl currently. All of that, and she says it's "wrong" for a man to have *** with another man. Heather is anti-gay, and I see that a lot with people in general. It's OK for 2 girls to be together, but it's not OK for two guys to be together. If a girl kisses another girl, she's not automatically a lesbian, but you're gay if you even so much as show simple affection towards another guy. 2) Heather NEVER ADDRESSED her attitude on why she would not date a bi***ual/bi-curious man. She only said "that's not a situation I want to get into." Also, her bringing up STDs, came off homophobic to me. Her saying "well, being a garbage man isn't something people consider disgusting" was homophobic. Her whole mentality comes off as male homo***uality=dirty. And that you're tainted if you have *** with a man as a man. I wrote on her facebook page to address these comments and what exactly she means. She says her views have evolved so........maybe so, maybe not. 3) Dustin is NOT STRAIGHT. Dustin's facebook page, which I believe is no longer up or has been changed, listed GENTLEMEN under interests/searching for. Dustin has been seen at events for Frat Pad since Real World, and supposedly, Dustin didn't need any "enhancement" to "perform" for the site. Also, he keeps dodging the fact he DID have *** with men. He said he only got oral for 30 seconds as a still shot. We all know that's a lie. He bottomed and gave oral. His history is out, and his homophobia and his denial are clear defense mechanisms. The fact he can't get over the situation is clear insecurity. Dustin is a kid in turmoil who has clearly been taken advantage of, warped mentally and spiritually, and is a lost soul. He really needs help, and he can't get it until he's away from the toxic society for gays in Southern Louisiana. 4) Mike is not homophobic, but he is a drama queen, and he lacks self-awareness. He has no idea how to behave in particular situations. He made it all about him when the situation was not to do with him whatsoever. I don't think the castmates outside of Heather and Leroy are homophobes. Nany I definitely don't think is homophobic. Leroy was mature in his response and seemed like he had a change of heart in that moment, and realized how damaging homophobia and judgment is. I think the castmates reacted out of surprise and shock rather than hatred. Also, Dustin's homophobia and going out of his way to profess his hetero***uality made it an even more uncomfortable situation. People reject what they don't understand or makes them uncomfortable. In a rational minded situation, I think the majority of cast mates would not be so callous as they came off tonight. None of them had the right to know about Dustin's *** life, outside of Heather, so the fact they made it their business is ridiculous. But that leads to my final point......... 5) What Dustin said was 100% ACCURATE. The cast mates were so shocked, alarmed and unstable, solely because Dustin was on a gay **** site? They laughed off Adam's behavior until it became too egregious to do so. With Dustin, it was immediate shock and horror. That should show us all the true repressive nature of America when it comes to *** and gender in general. That a guy doing **** is more shocking than a guy being in juvy and using guns. As Heather put it in the live show, homo***uality isn't "normal" in the eyes of many, murder is, drugs are, etc. People become numb to murder and drugs. Homo***uality elicit***treme responses on all sides of the aisle because it's so much more of an "in your face" issue, and since it's such a deep cultural, moral and mental issue.

I think the fact that he is probably ******** and the fact that he won't admit it are the main reasons they are making a bigger deal. There have been gay men on the RW and no one cared at all and most were OK with them no problem. There have been ******** women and everyone thought it was hot and seemed to enjoy it. There kind of lies the double standard too. I think if he said he was ******** at the start of the season and dated heather, this wouldn't be a big deal at all. I think his 100 percent refusal to admit any attraction or ******** tendencies is what makes it so interesting and why the housemates reacted so much to it. I think it was only as big a deal as it was to the housemates due to the fact that he was so anti anything but being straight and wouldn't sit with a guy on a ride, is what made it like *** to the housemates. Nany had to go run and tell Naomi within 5 seconds too she probably could of told Dustin so he could tell Heather or at least be prepared that it was coming out. Even though Heather's mom told her he still would of at least of known the gossip would of gotten to Heather and not been completely caught off guard when Heather approached him.
I am not positive because he changed his story so many times when he told Heather what he did on that site. I think Fratpad was the online site where it was just nakedness and group and individual self-love. The related site Fratman TV was the movie site, if I am right. I suspect that at that point in time he rather cluelessly thought the pay per view performances were no longer available and he could have gotten away with the lie.
The bottom line is, several of the cast mates have had numerous ***ual partners, and yet no-one bats an eye. Yet, Dustin, in a controlled environment, has *** (and they don't even know that since he said he didn't, and that they just did nude photos and solo ***************** we know now are all lies), with other men, and a couple of the cast mates flipped out about it. Heather, Naomi and Leroy need to check their biases and make changes. Their homophobia was exposed in the episode. And, with Heather, she has no excuse. Being from small town conservative New Jersey is not an excuse when you are sleeping with the same-***, and then condemning others for doing the same thing, solely because the gender combination is male and not female.

But when it is revealed it's gay ****, they're immediately repulsed.

Notice how he left out the mother site part every time though i definitely think he didn't know that still was online or he is that naive. I thought Chet brought up a great point in the aftershow though. He said this guy who runs that site is making bank now because this guy is on the RW when Dustin was just trying to put it past him and start over. All of the sudden the sites popularity has gone up 10 fold. He asked if he thought he should get some of the profits and Heather said he is just trying to move on before Dustin could speak and he kind of just halfheartedly agreed but i bet he thought like Yea, that really sucks for me doesn't it? I mean unless he signed something(which he did i'm sure) where he gets nothing extra for popularity/sales, that kind of sucks for Dustin because he didn't want people to know and this guy is making a ton off of his RW appearance. Not only does his current life get completely turned upside down because he said he hadn't told anyone now everyone knows, but he isn't even getting paid anymore for it. That sucks double for him.

I think there are some serious double standards at work here. Promiscuity is promiscuity.. whether it is straight/bi/gay or otherwise. There are few people in the history of this show who should be throwing stones at this person. If Heather were a girl who had been with limited people, and had a problem with Dustin's larger number, that would make sense. This really does not. And to be perfectly honest, I'm surprised we haven't seen a ******** on this show before now.

Even though Heather's mom told her he still would of at least of known the gossip would of gotten to Heather and not been completely caught off guard when Heather approached him.
I halfway agree, but at the same time, from previous reactions, we knew already Heather and Leroy were at least partially homophobic. When Naomi was talking about a gay roommate and how that would be cool, Leroy said he hoped that didn't happen. And of course, the whole Dustin and Leroy being "disgusted" by gay men situation. Heather, saying she doesn't want to be with men who have *** with men, because it's wrong. So, homophobia did play a part to an extent. That can't be denied. Dustin's homophobia and denial just exacerbated the homophobia, and sort of made the homophobia an accepted practice. I think that all played a part. Nany and Mike were the only ones to say something about Dustin's homophobia. Nany did handle it immaturely. She used it as gossip against Dustin, but what she should have done is told Dustin that she knew the secret as you said. She wasn't truly concerned about Heather or Dustin. The entire situation was handled so poorly, and no-one really knew what to do or how to operate. It made for extreme awkwardness.
Also interesting to note is that when Adam calls Nany and tells her Dustin was a **** star she and Naomi are giddy and laughing -- presumably thinking it's straight ****. It's only that gay thing that seems to make people upset.
For the record, Adam's little "shootout" was explained in his own thread from what I imagine would be a reliable resource. Adam heavily exaggerated the whole thing. Yeah I know, shocker.
Hahaha, not at all a shocker coming from Adam.

DING! DING! DING! Ladies and gentlemen.. we have a winner! There is absolutely no difference in what Dustin has done and what 99.9% of the rest of these guys have done.
Personally, I don't want to point fingers and cry HOMOPHOBE! but I definitely agree with the majority of what you are saying. One can have some homophobia within them but not be homophobic in general. And as far as they know, Dustin didn't even have *** with men. So, yes, this is definitely all about double standards, and the sad reality that male homo***uality is still looked down upon in comparison to female homo***uality and hetero***uality. I'm surprised we haven't seen a ******** either, maybe the next one (which I'm sure there will be) will be open and honest about it from the beginning. And save all this drama.
IMO a chunk of the gay community is pretty bigoted toward bisexuality in men. I have always found it ironic that a part of a community that expects people different from them to accept them for who they are does not accept bisexuality in men but does in women.
Considering how often young men, as soon as they get a phone with a camera, feel compelled to take a photo of their exposed manhood using the bathroom mirror and then post the picture online, one could argue that being nekkid on the internet is becoming a normal rite of passage. It's only that gay thing that seems to make people upset.
That is an absurd comparison. Young men who choose to do that do it out of idiocy or whatever compels them to do such a stupid thing. Dustin was approached from a business standpoint and spent an extended amount of time doing...whatever it was he was doing. He knew what his audience was (gay men), and he knew the consequences as well as the rewards. The motive is money, and that seems to irk people. The problem here is everyone's' assumption that had Dustin done straight ****, it would alleviate the situation when there is absolutely no evidential proof of that whatsoever. It's all pointless speculation and conjecture. The pornographic industry is a touchy subject for a lot of people, and it certainly is not a homogeneous business economically. Why do you think gay male **** stars are paid so much more? If you know the answer, then the reactions in this episode become much more clear.
I think, for whatever its worth, that gay **** stars (i.e. men) get paid so much more because there is a much higher demand for the content and fewer people willing to do it. It is more profitable and probably because so many closeted people live vicariously through it.
Personally, I don't believe Dustin should have to tell the rest of the cast anything.. UNLESS he ever wants a real friendship with any of them. His ***ual/work history is none of their business and it doesn't affect any of them. I don't know why anyone other than Heather would care what he did. How many of these cast members had *** infront of cameras this season? No one has ever walked around naked on The Real World? What's the big deal?
You took the words right out of my mouth. I feel like Leroy and Mike didn't get along with Dustin from the start and this was just an outlet for them. It is NO ONES concern but Dustin and Heather.

And if you knew someone was getting paid generously for doing something they openly condemn, wouldn't that do more than just annoy you?

Regardless of personal opinion on ****, sexuality, etc.. No one had any reason to be outraged (with the possible exception of Heather) and there is definitely no reason for Dustin to be removed from the house.

I am conflicted about whether I think Mike has an unrequited boycrush on Dustin or if its on Heather.
Regardless of personal opinion on ****, sexuality, etc.. No one had any reason to be outraged (with the possible exception of Heather) and there is definitely no reason for Dustin to be removed from the house.
The "he needs to go" comment was stupid indeed...That part perplexed me. I try to chalk it up to them being concerned for his mental well-being (i.e. Hawaii's Ruthie), which could have easily been remedied by having the house meeting right from the beginning on Dustin's terms (not waiting until someone spilled the beans).
