True Blood Season 4

I can hardly contain myself....I love this show!! Unfortunately, I don't have HBO, but we watch online as soon as the episodes are up. They're pretty good, and got me super-excited for this season!

I saw a promo before Game of Thrones this week. I'm excited for some great summer television!

I can not wait for this season...I am currently reading the new Sookie novel to tide me over until it gets here...so far so good and I am only a few chapters in. Indeed waiting does SUCK!

So I just finished watching the first episode of Season 1 and I had never thought I would say this, but it was actually pretty good. All my friends have been telling me to watch for quite a while and I finally gave in. I guess I will just have to continue...

Trailer looks awesome! Bill and LaFayete look alot cooler than they did last season! Fab, you should totally continue! Season 2 is even better than season 1!

Saw that first few minutes too. I like the fairy backstory that was revealed in those minutes, but I'm hoping that the season does not revolve around that. I hope it's more about Eric, Jason and the witches storylines like I've been hearing. [SPOILER]Alan Ball dropped a spoiler a few weeks ago that a straight character was going to turn gay this season. I'm thinking it may be Jessica or Tara.[/SPOILER]

Eric wouldn't hurt Sookie, would he? Interesting open to the season. The cup runneth over with plots and side plots.

Eric seems to want Sookie all to himself, as the last line "you're mine". Hopefully Alcide comes around soon :D. That one practicing witch referred to Bill as "your majesty", does that mean he's king now? I'm thinking he killed the queen in that fight. I think I like where they are going this season. It was interesting how everything is one year after last season. Jason being a cop is pretty cool. I wonder why the people of Hotshot would capture him... Can't wait for next episode, looks like things will pick up more.

If they didn't show her completely die, then she's not dead is what I'm going with. It just doesn't seem like she's dead. I haven't been the biggest Bill fan lately and i'm not sure I like where his character is going. I thought tonight's episode was great and it's good to see there could be a few new characters as well. I personally liked the Real Estate agent, but that could be because she was on a season of Dexter :D And I'm with you on the Alcide point Dplayer. I love me some Joe Manganiello, but then again I also love Alexander Skarsgard. Decisions decisions.

I was captivated by the season opener! So many things going on, i was never bored. I agree w/Fabulous that Bill doesn't seem like he's gonna be my cup of tea this season, and i feel the same about Tara. Regardless, i love this show and i can't wait to see what this season brings (especially to my favorite man Lafayette).

I'm very disappointed in the turn we seem to be seeing with Bill's character as he once was a hero and a favorite. As for Tara, they should have killed her off 3 seasons ago...

Then Eggs was killed and she went crazy.

Fab that real estate agent was also on vampire diaries :D. I think with some of the things that happened between last year's cliffhangers and Sookie's return, their going to try to keep us in suspense. Like where's the queen?, when did Marnie come to town, how did Maxine find Tommy and stuff like that. As for Tara, I feel she has no purpose in the show anymore. With a show like True Blood that keeps getting more series regulars(like Nan Flanagan, Marnie and Portia Bellefleur), I think it'll be good to off some of the older ones like Tara. My thoughts on the premiere: It was good, but not great. I didn't like that we missed what's happened in the last year, hopefully there's a flashback episode that shows the missing plot's. (Jason and hot shot/cop status, Andy using V, Tara/Toni storyline, Lafayette's last vision, Bill vs. Sophie Ann, Sam vs. Tommy, and Maxine vs. Jessica) [B]Dislikes: [/B] The Arlene story line. As much as I love Terry, I can't stand Arlene. It's like, last time I checked Rene was just a human, I'd be more intrigued is if he were an evil magical creature that passed down something supernatural to the baby. As is, that kid isn't a threat until he's at least 15/16 maybe. I just can't come up with a valid reason resolution to this subplot. Sam. Stop being angry, you're getting more and more unlikable for me... Jason and the hot shot plot. Just annoying, I saw that freezer scene coming from a mile away. Like others have said, I'm getting a bad vibe from Bill, I can't explain why though. [B]Likes:[/B] Nan Flanigan and Pam. There was a good amount of her, but I still craved more... Loved her "Not Really" line Lol! Tara, surprisingly. It's good to see more from her character than a lip quiver, the Lesbianism I saw coming too, but I didn't mind it though. Love seeing her fighting! Jessica and Hoyt, I don't like that they fought, but any Jessica on my screen is a gift from Heaven. Eric with the power play of buying Sookie's house, this threw me for a loop!! Mab: Although I was confused as to what was happening in this scene and I wasn't crazy about the effects... I got a Maryanne, love to hate, and a little afraid vibe from her, if that makes sense. She needs to make a visit to Bon Tempe and wreak havoc. Lafayette's one liners. "10 if dey got dranks" Lol! Jasmine's last name (Reynaud) reminds me of Renard Parrish. Lastly: "I am near to pickled as it is!"... "I will breakout in hives!!" :laugh1: ... Don't know her name, but I want to see more of her!!!

I'm hoping she becomes a bigger part of the storyline, but there is obviously something going on between her and Bill it seems. I've yet to check out the second episode yet, but I plan on watching it probably before Sunday on HBO GO.

It would just be kind of cool to see things like the Queen/Bill fight and a few other things. I also agree with your Arlene point. I only like her because in real life she's married to Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus from Lost) hehe. And Sam just needs to revert back to his season one self, just like Tara. And finally, Pam is amazing.
