I wasn't going to bother to say anything because I don't mind this kind of legend building, but there's absolutely zero chance that Evelyn was running around for two weeks with broken ribs, let alone performing in challenges like that. I'd believe bruised ribs, torn cartilage, something like that. She'd barely be able to move with two broken ribs, let alone climb a rope ladder swinging from a helicopter and whatnot.
Things can get tricky. It very well may have been the Argentina house. Or it could have been a room from the Costa Rica house shown in unison with shots from Argentina. I don't really remember the exact details from that specific scene, I'm just saying editors have their tricks.
The room did look like the Argentina house, and Ev was wearing the same outfit while she climbing the pole in the new house and to the club and the zip line challenge was in costa rica. Maybe her injury wasnt that bad and only hurt after the challenges. And yeah maybe she guessed they were broken, unless she went to a doctor after.

Edit: No that was definitely Ev now that I re-watched the last part of the episode.
Maybe we'll get the chance to have Evelyn explain it more clearly after seeing the reunion - or possibly in her Vevmo interview. That would be a lot more productive than us trying to guess what happened.
Someone said that that was Mandi climbing the pole and not Ev. Not sure if that's correct or not though.
Nah definitely Ev, same clothes as when they were messing around in the room, same boots and top. And you can hear people saying Ev's name in the back ground.
Kenny carrying Wes was exactly what I thought lol, so did he carry him for the whole 2nd half!?
I would like to know this as well. That's VERY pathetic on Wes' part. Now we know why Evan said he was "All Swedish no finish." I guess the shot of him yelling is part of the last hour portion of the final.
Also on a side note, I hate that it seems like Jenn and Paula just yapped about Laurels few minutes of screaming at Paula to completely overshadow the days of bullying THEY did to Cara Maria because the comments Laurel made look worse on paper. Cara Maria isn't the type to bring it up and play the "poor me, I want answers for your actions" like everyone else does so I'm not surprised it went overshadowed. :/
It sounds like Jenn was just a hot mess.
It sounds like Jenn was just a hot mess.
It wouldn't be a reunion without a drunk chick acting ******** now would it?
I would like to know this as well. That's VERY pathetic on Wes' part. Now we know why Evan said he was "All Swedish no finish." Dehydration and food poisoning happens, it happened to Abram too and I am not going to start saying Abram sucks, and it's dumb that they finished 45 minutes before Johnny/Tyler but didnt get a longer head start. And this final seems messed up, standing on a rock for hours? *** is that?! That's like torture.
Evelyn's not a doctor. Unless she went to a medic, which she didn't, there's no way she would have known if her ribs were absolutely broken. I know girls can stand A LOT of pain (more than men) but I don't really believe she could have competed with broken ribs. She's a tough girl, I'm not denying that, but especially in the challenge where she had to white water raft, that would be soooo risky and dangerous. You can't physically row when you're ribs are broken. Can you imagine? Yikes.
Honestly, this final sounds more like torture than anything else. It's weird to see how the finals have changed since these shows have started.
Well... I would definitely consider the Gauntlet 1 finale to be really difficult. The altitude alone would be extremely difficult. Inferno 1 Finale was a bit weak. I mean Katie completed it for God's sake. BOTS1 & 2 seemed hard, but nowhere near as hard as Gauntlet 1. BOTSeasons wasn't that terrible. Inferno 2's looked hard since it involved swimming, running, and biking. I would die. Gauntlet 2... um... yea... So I mean most of the finales have been pretty physically demanding, I think.

Like you said, food poisoning and dehydration can happen to anyone. But the fact that Kenny apparently stood on a rock for 6+ hours and then had to carry the Greek God the next morning is pretty disappointing as a fan of him. I can't wait to see this final.
Since when did Paula participate in the "days of bullying" that was done to CM?
She was there laughing in Cara Marias face every time someone was being mean to her or making fun of her. She was high fiving Wes after he poured soda on her, telling her she looked stupid and to go to bed when she was crying. That's not bullying?

I see your point definitely, but that's just what she said.

Not exactly what I would call "days of bullying."
I'm not going to get into what is or isn't bullying. That was a one time incident where she was sticking up for her friend. Not exactly what I would call "days of bullying."
This is the same Wes that said that Paula wasn't right in the head during FM2. That doesn't sound like a friend to me. She also shook Wes's hand as if to say "good job." That's still bullying when you're the only one pointing and laughing. Back on topic, I'm somehow starting to hate Kenny less and less and if the final is shown like it's being portrayed here, I may actually start liking him O_o
I'm not going to get into what is or isn't bullying. That was a one time incident where she was sticking up for her friend. Not exactly what I would call "days of bullying."
I guess we'll agree to disagree on this one. But clearly Jenn and Wes didn't need any "sticking up for" against CM. Or maybe just that fits my idea of bullying and not yours, nothing wrong with differing opinions. :)
I'm not going to get into what is or isn't bullying. That was a one time incident where she was sticking up for her friend. Not exactly what I would call "days of bullying."
Smart idea.

I'm not saying what Paula did that night wouldn't be considered bullying. I'm saying it was a one time incident which Paula apologized for. Not "days" like kristalie was implying. Again, it's just my opinion. :)
Back on topic, I'm somehow starting to hate Kenny less and less and if the final is shown like it's being portrayed here, I may actually start liking him O_o
Welcome to the dark side my friend. :D

But it's not all bad 2nd place is good. Was this dehydration thing always an issue? I dont remember it happening on older seasons, besides for Eric on G3, oh man can you imagine big easy on this?! Everyone looked fine on G3 final besides for Eric. So then what happened to Mike and Leroy? They Dqd and couldnt win anymore? And did they say if it was close between Johnny/Tyler and Wes/Kenny??
I would've made Wes stand up for 6 hours. A person is most dehydrated after they sleep. That is common knowledge. Making an already bad situation worse for the win.
I would've made Wes stand up for 6 hours. A person is most dehydrated after they sleep. That is common knowledge. But if he threw up a lot because of the food poising then he would have been screwed. And it's good that they dont just take the sick people away like they did with Abe and Sarah and he managed to finish so he must have not been as ****ed up as they were, Abe throwing up all over the place was disgusting.
Is there some sort of summary? I just woke up and noticed there's about 28 unread pages :s
Everyone keeps mentioning Evelyn's ribs, but I once broke my arm and didn't know for about a week. Just because you have broken bones doesn't mean that the pain in unbearable.
Yeah, I'm not saying I don't believe her and Paula because I really like Ev and don't think she would lie about that but it just doesn't add up. She was being thrown all around in Argentina and if she broke her ribs way earlier, I doubt they would heal by then. I'm just confused! If it was anyone else besides Ev, I would just call them a liar!
Would you like to see the xrays?
I am glad almost all of the cast said they would do another challenge, especially a duel 3 not too happy about Paula wanting to do another but whatever. The cast would be awesome! Darrel, Mark, maybe Miz? CT, Ev, Laurel. I think it should be all top dogs, I know people want newbies but honestly I think the competition would be more exciting if it was only the best of the best. They have to do a duel 3, then they can cancel it if they want.
