Any scenario in which you are in a bar where there is a woman wearing a wedding dress is suspect to me.
Seriously? Have you ever been to the south?
I actually thought the country western bar was cool and a change of pace.
All I'm saying is I don't think there is anything wrong with Zach, Nate, and Ashley not wanting to go to a gay club. Yes it was done before on the show but that doesn't mean it's mandatory lol.
That country western bar is not really a country western bar, haha. I've been there a few times and I dont ever remember hearing country music. They have an upstairs too and I think it was all hip hop.
Seriously? Have you ever been to the south?
More specifically: Lubbock, Texas, USA.
I really want to see Frank change..like evolve attitude wise. However, from the previews, (next weeks pissy attitude after Pris cuts his hair) I don't think that'll be happening anytime soon. I remember a video in the Cast Spottings thread where Frank was, once again, called a *** at a bar and flipped out but this time Zach jumped in to defend him. This kinda makes me think that things are better between them than Frank lets people believe (like he did on the after show)
Just want to say, I love Frank and he is the best housemate in a long time.
Neither my Magic 8 Ball nor my International English-Sarcasm translator could tell me if you were serious or not with that.

haha, no I'm serious, apart from his annoying voice he is the perfect human being.
haha, no I'm serious, apart from his annoying voice he is the perfect human being.
I wouldn't go that far, but he was a good choice casting wise and seems like a genuine guy
Really not impressed with this guy so far. His behavior is outright embarrassing and pathetic.
I wouldn't go that far. He made mistakes when he was blacked-out drunk, and he learned from them.
I for one find Frank to be the most interesting castmember. It seems like he's genuine and at least trying to grow as a person. I'm not gay or bi so I wouldn't know, but it seems like it would be really hard to deal with how some of the castmates treat him and how he's treated in general. Their attitude (especially the guys) DID change after one incident. Zach saying he could care less about him when before they seemed like decent-enough friends, and Nate refusing to sleep in the same room? There's no excuse for homophobia (or biphobia..?) in this day and age, so I think he had the right to be upset.
I'm always drawn to people who at least try to grow, and who are articulate especially. Maybe that's it.
I really want to like him, but he makes it so hard, because he freaks out over nothing EVERY episode...it's getting a little stale. I'm trying to like him though, but he just...always does something to ruin it.
I can't stand his personality on this show :/ I wouldn't mind one bit if he were a background character the rest of the season..
Please be so :)
You and I both know the show would be nowhere as interesting.
You and I both know the show would be nowhere as interesting.
I honestly don't watch this season to see Franks freak-outs. They aren't interesting nor entertaining for me, they're just weird and seem forced almost. That entire moment when he's yelling at Priscilla for messing up his head was ridiculous. But not in a funny way, in an embarrassing way. I actually muted the tv lol

I dont find them funny, but they are entertaining. Besides Nate, he's the only other interesting person on this season (TV wise)
You and I both know the show would be nowhere as interesting.
I don't find Frank all that interesting. He is your young angry at the world guy whose behavior has become redundant rather quickly. Because he lives in a constant state of taking everything that does not agree with his mood personal, there is a predictability to his actions. That he breaks into rages over the very understandable (Nate's refusing to sleep in the room because Frank had sex with a man in the room) is undermined by breaking into a rage over something as innocuous as a bad haircut. It lessens the interest in wanting to see him even if it is realistic to many people (that they can take any action as a slight).
Frank may not be a repulsive caricature like Zach but a little bit of Frank goes a long way.
I find Sam, Priscilla, and Alex far more interesting that Frank.
I appreciate Frank for at least being somewhat entertaining. So far, he's the only one that's bringing drama. I give him props for at least doing something to make good tv! At this rate he's the only person I'll even bother to remember from this season. The other people are perfectly nice, but why the hell are they on the show?
I cringed watching Frank at first, but his drama has kind of grown on me. At least he keeps things interesting! I don't know if the others simply aren't interesting, or if they just feel a need to be peaceful because Frank is so crazy? Either way, I agree with others that most of the cast is boring.
Though I do feel Zack has the ability to shake things up sometimes, too.
The rest seem like nice people with interesting stories to tell, but they're not confrontational. Zack and Frank are the only confrontational ones on the show.
I can't stand Frank. He forces fights with people then tries to act like the good guy. He acts like a girl. He's just ridiculous.
This. :tv_horror:

So are you saying that by not causing unnecessary drama, Priscilla, Ashley and Alex are acting like guys?
So are you saying that by not causing unnecessary drama, Priscilla, Ashley and Alex are acting like guys?
Nope. Let me rephrase what I sad. He is acting like an overdramatic girl. Not all girls are that way, but I've never met a guy that acts like Frank.

I do not have faith that statement is correct. In most every season of the show, we get clues that people have interesting back stories, or causes, or whatever that are seldom shown more than in a token way in favor of the most over-the-top dramatic/flamboyant cast members. I do not buy that the reason they show Frank so much is because there was nothing else to show. By focusing on such behavior, they are trying to reel in a certain demographic at the expense of other stories that may be just as interesting if not more so. Since that stuff gets all the camera time, the next season's cast will have people who follow in the tradition just to get lots of time, and so on and so on. There is no point in trying to sell the show on the quality of its cast members when only the most immature behavior gets rewarded with big A-story plot lines.

I disagree. I think they do over play the drama, but notice in every scene, there are 5 people and then 2. I think Zach and Ashley just were awful roommates judging from Nate's drunkenly making fun of them and the fact that it's always 5 and Nate talks about Frank as his best friend in the house, so he had to have redeeming qualities. I just think they really messed up casting. Can't show the underage girl drink too much, 2 cast members who were completely pointless, 1 with a BF and no urge to stray. Nate and Frank were the only 2 really interesting storylines by default.

I think you are right.
It was unfortunate casting. Frank became the drama centerpiece by default.

Frank>>>>> Could have been the goat if he stuck around longer
Frank needs to come back
I really liked hearing Frank talk about Knight.
Frank being asked what they think of Bananas being single now and his response "Did he have to be single before, it didn't matter" ... YUP
