This season seems to be taking concepts from the original San Diego and giving them to less entertaining people (Priscilla's the anti-Cameron, 19 but not wild at all, etc.) so does that make Dylan the anti-Brad of the season with his motorcycle but not being cool?

What a coincidence -- Alex wins the contest and can send the $500 to her family in Africa.. who needed $500 at the beginning of the episode. That doesn't seem scripted at all.
Ugh, they should just ******* cancel this show already. Almost every episode has had something that seems scripted in it. At least previous seasons tried to be subtle about it.
Lol they're skipping the episode next week, kiss of death. They just need to beg the people the edited and cast the show in the 90s to come back. that's the only thing that will save this disaster.

They're not skipping any episode. I think that they're just taking a week off because Thanksgiving Week will hurt the number of viewers.

They never said they needed $500 in the beginning, did it? I know they talked about needing money, but it's not like it was the exact amount hah, unless I just missed that.
Even if it was scripted, I guess I don't really care because Alex's is actually a story I'm very interested in. She (and Priscilla) are my two favorites, and damn I actually love her singing.
This season is pretty boring, but idk I kinda don't hate it. Maybe I'm just still on a RW high because I loved the last two seasons, but this season isn't as terrible to me as it seems to be to everybody else.

I agree, I found this episode entertaining. I really hope Zach, Priscilla and Alexandra do challenges.
"Not Mike" in bed with Frank in the preview looked like the spitting image of Mike. I think that Alex sings well. She has an interesting voice, but it still makes no sense as to why she would drop out of college and this was her first public performance.

Why couldnt they have decided to use the part in the beginning of her talking about sending the money to Africa after she had already won? I dont understand why it seems scripted, Maybe she won and they used that in the episode as some background for why she wanted to win.
Anyway, I really thought it was another bad episode from what I saw, I turned it off half way through and went to sleep. Priscilla is ******** by the way, the guy leaves her and cuts all ties to go to college and she welcomes him back now, the guy is just using her and its so obvious.

I don't watch Real World live anymore - because American Horror Story trumps it by a mile. But I must say, the uber amounts of discussion regarding this new episode makes me want to rush to MTV.com to view it....(I speak sarcasm fluently).
I'm trying to like this season, I really am, I think I just liked Vegas so much that this season was doomed from the start for me.

This episode was more of the same except I found the stolen bike prank hilarious if only because of the neighbor that they involved. Just watch from like the 15-20 minute mark and that's all you need.
